Chuck: The Sad Situation in Hong Kong

We’ve seen this movie before…

It’s depressing, instructional  – and unfortunately – inevitable.

In Tiananmen Square, the world saw a single, solitary man, defy the might of the Chi-Com Imperium in front of a tank.  Soon after 10,000 Chinese patriots were slaughtered in pursuit of the things we take for granted – constitutional protections, under a Democratically elected government.  Free speech, the right to bear arms – how differently might these protests have gone down if the populace was armed? – and the protections against illegal search and seizure.

However many American dogs are in this fight, but will their barks be heard?

No American blood will be spent.

It is what it is, and that is how it must be. We cannot assist or provide arms to these rebels. The stakes are too high.

So we will watch and wait… and hope.

Prepare for widespread bloodshed as thousands of Chinese seeking freedom from true oppression will take bullets in the back while carrying American Flags and singing our national anthem.

It’s a recurring theme in countries where an oppressive government has ultimate control over everything people do, think and say.

Kinda like GOOGLE – one of the most corrupt and terrifying companies the modern world has ever known.

Here are some quotes from journalists and patriots in Hungary during the 1956 rebellion that are depressingly familiar.

This resistance, against the inate, brute power of an evil that knows no senescence, will never end, for it lives in our greedy, power hungry hearts and is blunted and controlled, only through free elections and a Constitutional Government.

There would have been far more deaths if the protestors had been armed, as the Chinese leadership would have used the armed uprising to crush that movement beyond rebirth. It amazes me that US gun lovers imagine that they could stand off the military with their modified penis extensions; talk about mistaking an AK or mod’d M-15 for and M40 or a SAW! Much less, of course, APCs, Bradleys or Abrahams. Oh…and don’t foeget air cover!

    Idiots.

If only one percent of those people were armed with 100-year-old Lee-Enfield .303 calibre bolt action rifles, the Chinese military would have one hell of a fight on their hands – have you ever seen Hong Kong? The Beijing oligarchy would have to bomb the place to smoking rubble, as did the Nazis to the Warsaw Ghetto, and they’d still face a fight. You, sir, are the greater fool, to give up what liberty you think you have, for security you will neither get nor deserve.

    • Nick is no doubt “triggered” by the idea of a citizen of any country being willing to die, or, kill in pursuit of freedom and control over his/her life.

No doubt Nick, we are all aware, that you would live on your knees before you fought on your feet.

The Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto held out for months against the Nazi tanks, air and land power arrayed against them, with knives, sticks and stones.

There are no easy choices for the temporarily “Free Chinese” in Hong Kong. Either bend your knee to the power of their Marxist/Fascist Masters, or protest in the streets.

The Chi-Coms killed 10,000 the last time this happened and I am sure, they would kill even more if it proved necessary to maintain power.

If you are going to be shot anyway, why not take a few lefties with ya?

This was written by a friend of mine on facebook – he’s from California, in one of the less-populated areas of the state, part of the Old West: “The first step to regaining health for our body politic is a clear, public assessment of the advanced state of decay, infection, & depravity in this putrid bloated beast we all call home…and being too “sensitive” to deal with the pus & sh*t, the tumors and fevers, is moral & intellectual cowardice. Those without the strength or courage to clearly admit the reality of our bipartisan elite’s rampant diseases in all their varied permutations are preventing the cure. Only full disclosure and awareness and acceptance of the horrific truth can cauterize the rot– we must extract the creepy parasites out from under their rocks, out of their crevices, from under our collective rugs where they slink, hidden from view. . All these links between pedophiles, sex trafficking, our intelligence agencies, and the most powerful people in government, Wall Street, the MSM, the Mafia, the Pentagon — all these links are not random, nor coincidental, nor superficial, they comprise a network, not accidental but intentional, a well-oiled machine — it’s Big Business, as usual……If we’re all clear on that, fully “woke” to our complete betrayal by BOTH parties, their mutual connivance and complicity with our oligarch monsters, only then can we progress to the next stage, the excisions, the cauterizing…Pretending the obvious collective depravity endemic to our ruling class is “only in the other party,”, or “just a few bad apples,” or “conspiracy theories….”, or some other excuse to shield our consciousness from disturbing realities, only encourages & enables our mortal sickness. As long as it’s unacknowledged, denied, ignored, left in the dark, blamed on just half of the perpetrators, on crackpot messengers, the sickness will metastasize. That shielding, bought by the oligarchs, created by the media that they own, enables their heinous existence, even paints them as philanthropists, mentors, their unseen criminal enterprises are camouflaged. Bring the vermin out into the sunlight, discuss their open collusions, their vectors of disease. Smell the stink of putrefaction, see the oozing decay, correctly diagnose the cause, the source : our wealthy elite. Then we might have a chance of recovery.”

Our government cannot possibly give that which it lacks. The people of the US are no longer the government, the government has long since lost any realistic consent, and governs by force and by secrecy and by massive surveillance. The Chinese government is just cruder, and their propaganda apparatus is relatively primitive. We *do* have a Bill of Rights, but it is routinely ignored by the government if it’s convenient – and at least one President in the last 20 years has publicly scorned it, in unpunished violation of his oath of office. So this is no great surprise – how long can the rot continue before collapse sets in?

  4. Nick says:

Sweet jeebus, Chuck et alia…a couple hundred words and you all go full desperado?

    Incredibly sad and…well, clueless.

Yes – this country has veered far from its original course, but that design was based on slavery and that’s not happening; just as an uniformed (or worse…desperately ignorant) citizenry armed with one hundred year old weaponry is not going to replace the government with perverted versions of what they believe this country should be.

Once you guys pull your heads out of your collective fantasy, maybe you’ll see that change is going to take far more than trite right-wing agitprop. In fact, were you serious about effecting change, you’d just keep your mouths shut.

But then your egos are far more out-sized than your desire to do good.

    • Hudson H Luce says:

And let people like you take the place over? You’re the reason why this country is in the mess that it’s in, it’s your continual record of failed policy that’s the ongoing disaster. And you just want to double down on your failure – keep doing the same thing, and hope that, *this time*, things will work out differently. You may live in a Blue metro area, but it’s surrounded by thoroughly Red states, and people wise up and vote with their feet – they can move away from the effects of your failed policy. It’s not for nothing that both Kansas and Missouri went for Trump by nearly 2-to-1 margins.
