Chuck: Will Men on the Moon Save Trump?

On November 15th, 1969, I was there…

On the steps of the Washington D.C. National Art Gallery, during the Vietnam Moratorium Protests, where 500,000 people showed up.

It was a hell of a party.

Two days in D.C. of chasing chicks and puffing the magic dragon.

We were all brothers and sisters back then.  Seriously

That in spite of what you hear from talking heads on Fox, CNN, etc.

Americans, though vehemently and violently disagreeing over the Vietnam War, still had common cause and agreed, that we were all “in it together” even if we hated the war.

I was there, I remember.

But that has changed forever.

Over the last decade, the rhetoric from the left and their press pack dogs, has elevated every argument to the status of Def Con 5. No matter what the argument is, it ends up, that YOU ARE A RACIST!

From at the least halfway objective journalism of the 90’s and early 2000’s, our 4th estate has evolved into a tsunami of noxious, ideological swill.  No one that I am aware of disputes or  is even embarrassed that the coverage of the current administration is 92% negative.

Whatever minuscule pretense of objectivity is held in abeyance by way of  some “higher loyalty”.

Even President Trump has now used the dreaded “I” word – impeachment.

It’s now a real possibility.

The executives at the National Enquirer requested and received immunity. And if they hand over all their correspondence from the President and his former attorney (that pesky 6th Amendment be damned), what Mueller and his proxies may find is immaterial.

The hunt goes on.  I

Day after day, night after night, under a stalking moon, Mueller is a T-1000 Terminator with unlimited legal powers and the full support of the 4th Estate, the Deep State, Hollywood, Silicon Valley and a legion of Crypto-Fascist Antifa thugs in black masks.

The die is cast, Trump is doomed.

We are no longer brothers and sisters and if fact, hate each other with good cause.

That’s what’s scary…the good cause.

In every civilization and society the end of the Rule Of Law means war.

Just last year, the National Enquirer ran a story that said the moon is actually an alien space station.  Really.

Hey, maybe the aliens will be the ones to actually bring us back together again. And even now they’re gathering their forces on the moon – involuntarily moving us toward the brotherhood of man.

Their invading soon may be the only thing that could save President Trump.

Didn’t I read this on TKC last week? Same reply.

Chuck, it will all follow the script of The Threepenny Opera. In the end The Queen (played by VP Pence) will make it all right. And they all sing don’t punish the guilty too harshly. Ala Nixon.

Hard to decide who can’t see the forest for the trees worst, the Trumpettes or the Clintonistas. A lot of the Evil of Trump was a carry-over of Obama administration policies. Such as forcibly drugging children without parents knowledge nor consent when in government custody. Alien or US citizen were drugged.

Impeachment gave us the end of Lincoln’s Republicanism and begat us with Bush II. Who was so bad we got Obama. So after Trump we must be getting Jesus, right?

History may not repeat but quite often it rhymes, eh?

I can’t stand to read the papers
Seems like all the news is bad
And an empty anger keeps me
    From feeling really sad

These are strange times we live in
    Hard games we play
    Wager very carefully
    And play’em as they lay

But don’t play no cards ain’t in your hand
    So long Harry Truman
Goddamn it’s hard to find an honest man

    No longer sure of waking
    No longer sure of sleep
    A prisoner bound by promises
We knew he could not keep

And someone said, let’s hang him
    For he is a fool
Ah, but tell me just how was it
    That he came to rule

    Never trust an enemy
    Never cheat a friend
Just doin’ what you think is right
Usually works out in the end

And the president thought of Truman
When he knew the end was near
You can pass it on for quite a while
But it’s true, the buck stops here

Sure Trump would think of Ford if the Clintonistas’ wet dream evolves.

Chuck, as much as I would love to see this buffoon out of office, it isn’t going to happen. You’ve got the Senate and the House repubs that think it’s their job to protect him. It’s news to me that this is what their job is, but that’s the way it is. Were this the black guy that occupied the office for the previous 8 years, they couldn’t have enough hearings to investigate his possible “crimes”. These are the times we live in. Trump had it right during the campaign. He COULD shoot somebody on 5th Avenue and his minions wouldn’t care. Fake news, they’d claim. Screw all those hypocrites.

  4. anon says:

Trump will be fine. His opponents get off on impeachment porn and need bigger and bigger hits to get high off it

“This Will Be The End Of Trump’s Campaign,’ Says Increasingly Nervous Man For Seventh Time This Year” — this was a headline on the onion nearly three years ago. Nothing has changed and the trump haters are still shitting out the same stale stuff they have been since he announced his candidacy three years ago

  5. J. Springer says:

I think you need to lay off the drugs.

  6. Guy Who Says What Others Think says:

Impeachment is one thing. Actually getting him out of office is another. Hell, Bill Clinton was impeached. Did they remove him as president? No. They didn’t have the votes. They don’t have the votes now either. You need 2/3 of the Senate to get him out of office. Not happening.

    • Jim a.k.a. BWH says:

Guy, I agree with you 100%………except for one thing. It’s going to depend on WHAT they impeach him for. (should that even happen). For just being a complete and total idiot? No. For actual, provable treason and conspiring with a foreign government to influence an election, probably. This would require the ultimate smoking gun and I doubt that will happen. (or exists). Short of that, it’s corruption as usual. You know……government.

  7. Kerouac says:

Man, woman and child having failed at antinatalism, God having disabused Himself the notion flushing it/us all down the toilet today in lieu tomorrow, a World War or even an more localized civil one too much trouble, perhaps there’s a giant Vredefort Dome-sized asteroid out there with our name on it, coming for us all (sure, right after the Chiefs win a Superbowl.)

Till then – ‘PRESIDENT TRUMP – MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!’ (one kicking, screaming, lying liberal at a time)

    😎

  8. The Man Who Knew Too Much says:

“No one that I am aware of disputes or is even embarrassed that the coverage of the current administration is 92% negative.”

Of course nobody disputes it or is embarrassed by it. Because this administration DESERVES coverage that is 92% negative.

  9. chuck says:

    My point is this.

I don’t believe, that anyone, the President, any politician, ANY person, can withstand, an unlimited, unsupervised, Federally funded, microscopic, granular inspection into their lives that has no time limit, no statute of limitations, which includes business dealings, conversations, relationships, “state of mind” implications going back forever into their lives, without having exposure, justified and unjustified, to the law.

Another words, the literal interpretation, of, “Witch Hunt”.

The aggregate power of the media, again over 90% of all journalists are liberals, is the power base and the catalyst for this disgusting endeavor.

I think, at some time, after these ‘prosecutors’ have thrown, again and again, more and more bullshit up against the wall, something will stick and it will be on.

There is no more, despicable, loathsome group of so called “professionals” in this world than the Pravda PR Arm of the Democrat/Socialist/Progressive party, the Main Stream Media.

  10. paulwilsonkc says:

Nice story, Chuck. And we’re way past due for a smoke.
I agree with your premise. I was as opposed to the Clinton investigation, while absolutely opposed to the man, as I am the Trump investigation for the same reason. Kenneth Star had a mandate to investigate Clinton. The Clintons, being smarter than Star and his team, left Star coming up empty handed. So they huffed and they puffed until they came up with a soiled, blue dress. Was Star’s investigation charged to find dirty laundry? Yes, it was. Was a blue dress with love ick on it the kind of dirty laundry he was looking for? No, but it got the job done!
Trump is walking that same path. There is no Russian collusion. A year and a half investigation and $40M proves that. They have a porn star….they have a couple pay offs…but nothing that resembles the investigatory focus.
I think he’ll survive it, but it’ll get uglier before it gets better.
And remember, this is the prognosticator who wrote right here on KCC, 6 months before the election, Why Hilary Can’t Win!

    • chuck says:

It IS past time for a smoke.

      🙂

By the way, Bill Clinton was – in my opinion, a pretty good president. No real wars, money in the bank…

The dood digs chicks. I have no idea, if he is guilty of rape and all of the other bad press, it is just too long ago to form an opinion for me. I guess, we could go to an expert, like, oh…, say…, Asia Argento to find out the truth.

      What’s she doing?

    • Orphan of the Road says:

The Democrats are the party that says government will make you smarter, taller, richer, and remove the crabgrass on your lawn. The Republicans are the party that says government doesn’t work and then they get elected and prove it. P. J. O’Rourke

We have two extremes trying to control the citizens to their liking. Congress, having abdicated their duties to lobbyists, pushes it off to one of the two-least due process processes in our laws. The Grand Jury and the Special Prosecutor.

Perhaps Mueller will find collusion and illegal deal involving both parties. Or be another Warren Commission?

Russia, or whatever cover and crew used, accomplished what they wanted. They embarrassed Hilary Clinton and got the public to turn on all the traditional institutions. Let the FBI and CIA run amok with laws until it is a Big Cheese.

An impeachable offense is whatever Congress decides it is. Depending on your definition of is, of course.

You know there was a socialist from Butler, MO who re-introduced the Pay It Forward movement. Went on to invent what folks call libertarian today.

“The America of my time line is a laboratory example of what can happen to democracies, what has eventually happened to all perfect democracies throughout all histories. A perfect democracy, a ‘warm body’ democracy in which every adult may vote and all votes count equally, has no internal feedback for self-correction. It depends solely on the wisdom and self-restraint of citizens… which is opposed by the folly and lack of self-restraint of other citizens. What is supposed to happen in a democracy is that each sovereign citizen will always vote in the public interest for the safety and welfare of all. But what does happen is that he votes his own self-interest as he sees it… which for the majority translates as ‘Bread and Circuses.’

‘Bread and Circuses’ is the cancer of democracy, the fatal disease for which there is no cure. Democracy often works beautifully at first. But once a state extends the franchise to every warm body, be he producer or parasite, that day marks the beginning of the end of the state. For when the plebs discover that they can vote themselves bread and circuses without limit and that the productive members of the body politic cannot stop them, they will do so, until the state bleeds to death, or in its weakened condition the state succumbs to an invader—the barbarians enter Rome.”

      ― Robert A. Heinlein
