Mancow: The Impending Decline of the American Empire

USconstBHOw2President Obama feels he inherited a mess from the Founding Fathers…

He can’t fix what has happened during the last 236 years in four years.

But President Obummer sure spent more in four years than all the other presidents combined. Our dollar will be history in four years as world reserve currency.

the_decline_and_fall_of_the_american_empire_of_debtThe only way forward is to re-balance the slavery/ master equation based on Marxism. It will take some time but with a modern message Obama can accomplish his goal.

But it’s gonna be ugly to those folks who believe they work for THEIR families and not the government.

Huh? What a poorly written reactionary column. All this worldy insight and knowledge coming from a man who makes fart noises on air for living. Sad.

another negative by babycow. Another worthless group of paragraphs
from another of the “woe is me” gang.
Another pitiful excuse for a commentary.
I think someone should throw a party for babycow…chuckles…smarmyman..
lefty (if the bus can get him there)…wilson… mark smith (who but for the
grace of me and hearne would not be allowed to post on kcc) and the rest of the guys on kcc with the totally negative attitudes. Get all of them together and see who can out whine the rest.
Babycow…you’re really a downer. A once upbeat funny guy with a ton
of talent has now become so negative. What happened…
Enjoy your holidays and have a great new years eve…

    Impending decline? It’s already here.

Interesting post, rambling incoherent homeless guy.

Well, this is a terrible article.

There isn’t much out there with more solid fundamentals than USD. I’m not saying that USD is ‘good’ or blessing US economic policy but by comparison it’s one of the least worst. CHF (if you don’t mind its EUR peg), Norse Kroner and CAD are just about the only less risky currencies that aren’t attached to a totalitarian government. The world isn’t going to start using RMB as a reserve currency and the IMF’s idea for an international currency is a non-starter. Physical metal is good but people are still in a frame of reference where they value it based on how many pieces of paper they can get for it.

For the average joe, any value in savings will be slowly degraded by interest rates lower than the inflation rate. That governments desperate for revenue via taxes and fees will chip away at whatever middle class is left — until we either snap out of it and end perpetual quantitative easing/ZIRP, or everyone is left at subsistence level.

These are the only non-Euro countries with a higher ranking in Blackrock’s Sovereign Risk index than the USA. (An index I find credible although it needs some tweaks.) I’ve filtered out Euro countries because they bring exposure to PIIGS.

      Norway
      Sweden
      Switzerland
      Australia
      Canada
      Chile
      S. Korea
      New Zealand
      China

The old “Obama spent more in four years than all the other presidents combined” lie has been disproven so many times you could have phoned this one in.

Sarah Palin said it, and she’s been totally discredited. So maybe you should stop repeating it. Doubt you will, even staring at the proof in the face, but, whatever, man.

  6. Mysterious J says:

Where in the world did a guy who calls himself Mancow ever get the idea he was smart? This is the same “sore loser” nonsense that has been all over since the election. This piece of garbage adds nothing to the discussion.

  7. chuck says:

ex pat is pretty impressive with the info.

Hearne needs to get you onboard Ex, you could do the money line here at kcc.

  8. Rick Nichols says:

I’ll further opine on this matter by saying that if the decline of the American empire is a necessary prelude to the arrival of the Kingdom of God, then I’m all in favor of the continued decline of the American empire. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

  9. Kerouac says:

This Christmas, Kerouac is thankful for patience, even if it entails suffering the fool on the hill as he be, interim resident 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue… an brighter tomorrow awaits, four years hence. Come that day, shall once again have a President instead of an impediment, a great leader in lieu of a great divider, the four flusher that currently takes squat the oval office, soiling & sullying the House our forefathers built, our once great country now tattered, in ruins.

Fortunate too, Hillary won’t be able to run (the country into the ground even further) 2016 than the current Marxist residing there as she has become vertically challenged and prone to ‘becoming prone’ as it were, no longer able keep herself unemcumbered concussive encounters, appears; her husband suffered from the same malady (seems to run in Dem circles.)

And so, be much to look forward to 2016, when, having bided our time can say – “free at last, free at last – thank God almighty we’ll be free at last!” – country’s long national nightmare finally over.

kerrywackly…..as the #1 prognosticator in america…lets get one thing
      straight.
I imagine you’re like the rest of the old graying negative grouchy seniors
on kcc so let me explain it very simply.
In your remaining lifetime on earth…you may never see another
republican president in your lifetime…never…maybe a slight
chance in 2016 (maybe 25% chance) but never after that.
Have anice new years eve…….don’t fall over the dog and break that
hip….medicare is right around the corner for you and the gang!!!!!!!

Mancow I hope you have calmed down since your rant on Rusty Humphries election day marathon with the Tea Party News Network or whatever they are called. You really went after the woman co-hosting with him. I hear you sometimes, but I have had to use Rusty’s free streaming audio app that runs your show. However, I don’t get a chance to listen everyday. So sorry If I missed you r problem lately. Nice of you to chime in here. Later.
