President Obama feels he inherited a mess from the Founding Fathers…
He can’t fix what has happened during the last 236 years in four years.
But President Obummer sure spent more in four years than all the other presidents combined. Our dollar will be history in four years as world reserve currency.
The only way forward is to re-balance the slavery/ master equation based on Marxism. It will take some time but with a modern message Obama can accomplish his goal.
But it’s gonna be ugly to those folks who believe they work for THEIR families and not the government.

Well, this is a terrible article.
There isn’t much out there with more solid fundamentals than USD. I’m not saying that USD is ‘good’ or blessing US economic policy but by comparison it’s one of the least worst. CHF (if you don’t mind its EUR peg), Norse Kroner and CAD are just about the only less risky currencies that aren’t attached to a totalitarian government. The world isn’t going to start using RMB as a reserve currency and the IMF’s idea for an international currency is a non-starter. Physical metal is good but people are still in a frame of reference where they value it based on how many pieces of paper they can get for it.
For the average joe, any value in savings will be slowly degraded by interest rates lower than the inflation rate. That governments desperate for revenue via taxes and fees will chip away at whatever middle class is left — until we either snap out of it and end perpetual quantitative easing/ZIRP, or everyone is left at subsistence level.
These are the only non-Euro countries with a higher ranking in Blackrock’s Sovereign Risk index than the USA. (An index I find credible although it needs some tweaks.) I’ve filtered out Euro countries because they bring exposure to PIIGS.
