Glazer: Scribe Anoints Lebron

Well ,it happened…

Lebron has signed with the Lakers and Magic Johnson.

These two will RULE the NBA and fast.

The Lakers are the most storied team in modern NBA history and now will be again. No, a title this year is not likely unless Magic and Lebron can bring another big name talent or two to help Lebron asap.

However playoffs, media attention, celebrity b.s., Alonzo Ball, his dad the boatlaod is here.

James signs a $153 million four year deal, nice.

He and Magic may end up owning the Lakers in a few years as well or the majority interest. These two will be a business partners and make billions.

At 34 and soon 35 Lebron will finish his career with a bang.

He will likely get to play a season or two and have a $5 million home in LA and his family will be set.

Without Lebron Cleveland will stink, may not even make playoffs.

Dan Gilbert gave Lebron a nice good bye and wants to retire his jersey in Cleveland. Nice

Will LA win a title with Lebron?

Yes, but might be a season or two away.

But hey, if injuries happen to the Warriors who knows?

LA likely will be a top five or six team in the NBA this season or better. And for the first time in five seasons a playoff team. Staples will be rocking dust off the hats Jack, get ready for SHOWTIME.

Its good for the NBA, sports, medaia and all involved. I love it.

Hey, without Lebron did I care about the NBA? No. Without Tiger do I watch golf? No…same thing.

It’s a great day for pro sports and Lebron is on his way to becoming an empire king with Magic.

The NBA Eastern Conference will now belong to the Celtics.

  2. Kerouac says:

“Lebron has signed with the Lakers and Magic Johnson. These two will RULE the NBA and fast.”

    – just as Johnson/Guggenheim’s arrival 2012 resulted their RULING MLB, with the Dodgers? The GIANTS, Cubs, Red Sox & Astros dissent, World Champions all since (is some debate whether another team may deserve mention same time period; that team’s name as their ‘merit’ however, escapes me 😎 )

Speaking of merit, NBA Boston Celtics late 1950’s- end 1960’s World Championships: 8 years in a row/10 in 11/11 in 13 still the best definition ‘dynasty’ sports history. The NFL Packers, MLB Yankees and NHL Canadians yesteryear all remove their hats out of respect… let the pretenders since every sport NBA, NFL & NHL prove selves better.

Back to LA lights, media ball-polishers, Magic and the awesome stash Guggenheim bean$: unburdened the deepest pockets in the sport, unswayed by pretentiousness theirs as reality itself, and believing their own over-hype: “we’ve the best team, the best pitcher, the best players, the best fans, the best city, the best everything” (best Owsley Acid, based results)… now serving ‘wait till next year’, part 2018, verse 30.

Seven seasons on, legends their own minds crowned selves ‘new sheriff in town’ LA, Johnson/Guggenheim Dodgers still ‘waiting till next year’. Johnson/James/Lakers? With apologies the Greg Kihn Band, say: ‘your claim’s in jeopardy, CG’. If ’twere that simple, the Chiefs under Peterson (having added marquees deux Montana & Allen) would have succeeded (that and the homer-istic/unrealistic tendencies Kansas City fandom, proffered as fact.)

    * As an aise, give this old Lakers fan Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, Gail Goodrich, Happy Hairston, Pat Riley, Jim McMillian and the rest the 1971-72 Lakers: would whip ANY Lakers team since or aft (their 33-game winning streak unmatched still, NBA history.)

“Hey, without Lebron did I care about the NBA? No. Without Tiger do I watch golf? No…same thing.”

    – as the Presidency same until Trump arrived to save us the Disaster in Charlatan of the previous 8 years. Kerouac hasn’t cared about the NBA since the 1970s, golf since Palmer’s exit or pro football since AFL/NFL merger. Following it out of habit in lieu affection since, restate ‘progress’ is highly overrated. As such, no good reason watch Chiefs 2018, previous half century exercises in futility with/without stars, affirming.

LA has the lights, stars and dollars if not sense… the dilemma, ours: watch the wheat, snow and tornadoes blow… or the swiss chiefs and fraudroyals do the same.

    😥

    • Don't Blame Spellcheck says:

      NHL Canadiens

      • Kerouac says:

Speaking of which ‘Don’t Blame Spellcheck’, get yours checked, eh? You missed ‘aise’ (should’ve been spelled ‘a-i-s-l-e’) 😯
        affirming Kerouac never uses spellcheck.

Now that we’ve (double entendre) ‘finished off’ English/French, inquires Lieutenant Columbo (who could never be confused for Inspector Clouseau) ‘just one more thing, sir’:

Q: is swiss chiefs or fraudroyals in French any less odoriferous, rank (or puanteur, if prefer), than it is in English/this country?

A: No. In any language, in any country, still Limburger cheese no matter how one spells or slices the deux.

druhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh glaze…you repeat the same shit heard for months on
radio and tv……..lebron needs someone else to win the west…if not I’m taking
the warriors……………just like i did this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Bob Loblaw says:

Glazier: He will likely get to play a season or two and have a $5 million home in LA…

His L.A. home is valued at $23 million.

  5. Don't Blame Spellcheck says:

    NHL Canadiens

  6. Boom Boom says:

warriors just got demarcus cousins….no way lakers can match warriors now…
with the top 3 at warriors no one will touch themnext year….no freaking way.
Plus warriors are not done……who can lakers add to lebron to come close….
    won’t make any difference.
