Not too many juicy football games to bet on this weekend…
Lots of tough calls.
Our Chiefs caught a break with Denver losing to the Chargers this week and falling to 3-2. That leaves Oakland alone at the top with a 4-1 record.
The Raiders are hoping to take over the division with a win against our Chiefs Sunday.
Based on the first part of this NFL season, that should happen.
That said, Oakland has lost its last three to KC, however this one should go their way at home.
Chiefs pass defense looks more than suspect, other than Marcus “Big Play” Peters.
The Raiders Derrick Carr should out duel a fading Alex Smith. Jamaal Charles says he is 100% ready to go – and we’ll need him – but we’ll see.
When Alex Smith scores a touchdown on the ground himself the Chiefs are 9-0.
Those were the days.
Nut this season Smith has not run the ball much, so he needs to start.
For some odd reason KC is favored!
What? Yep. By one point on the road, strange. I look for a close game with the Raiders winning. 24-17. Lets hope for better.
College football is already thinning out to the fop five teams.
Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Ohio State and Washington are in the hunt for a final four spot.
Our local teams are all doing a bit better than we might have expected, but still no contenders for anything. K-State still has a bowl shot but likely a no-name bowl. MU and KU have no shot at anything. KU is playing much better and maybe next season will be a decent squad, as may MU.

AFC top teams are almost also decided. New England, Steelers, Oakland, Denver and a weak division champ, Houston. The Chiefs and Ravens – along with a fading Bengals team – have a shot at wild cards. However the Chiefs need a win to stay in the hunt.
I am now 5 over – .500 – now so things are picking up. Unfortunately against the spread it’s a tough job this season more than ever. Good week last week no losses.

My picks over the last few years have been outstanding…two years in a row over 74 percent..right here on this blog…Yes last year was a poor one…this year we are now 4 games over .500 decent…I’ve done better in Vegas than anyone you know. Chiefs play their best game of the season. Vegas knew something with making them the fav…on the road. I lost all three picks and fall to just 2 over .500. Aaron Rogers looks like he’s just old and can’t throw deep anymore or almost at all. Big Ben out for weeks so Steelers are likely done as an elite post season team. Chiefs step up and now are in the hunt again. Nice.

I guess you mean Reid is ‘fat, lazy and stupid, I know I’m not’…as for his record, I knew that so did the tons of others who picked Oakland. It’s ok to be a fan KCM, but based on their previous performance, the Raiders at 4-1 and at home, as well as the Chiefs showing no big improvements, well them winning seemed not so good. They did, and that’s great, but the media in many and most cases picking Oakland made sense. It’s one game. The Chiefs now have their ‘easy’ part of their sched…coming up…they should be 7-3 or better in a few weeks. I hope so.
