I’m talking about adult film legend Ron Jeremy. Ron has turned from adult films to mainstream movies like Reindeer Games with Ben Affleck. And this last year Ron decided to do stand up comedy. So far so good.
Jeremy has been doing mostly one night shows at clubs and casino’s on the West Coast. Now he beings his act to Kansas City and he’ll be live on stage at Stanford and Sons tonight.
Ron’s been working with Dante and Rebeka. Dante has become one of the top 20 comics with blazing hot shows. He first did his thing on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, where he met the beautiful Rebeka. And they’ve been a comedy team now for several years working all over the nation.
Dante become a writer/producer on Fashion Police with Joan Rivers and has co starred in many comedy films, like Inappropriate Comedy with Jamie Kennedy. Rebekah has made a career playing leads and co starring on Lifetime movies and a hit series called Eating Out.
Dante was doing well enough to be invited to host the Adult Video Awards for Showtime. It’s always been a great career builder with past hosts like Lisa Lampanelli, Dave Attell and Colin Kane. It was at the awards show that Dante met Ron Jeremy and they all decided to do comedy tour.
Ron’s been a regular on Johnny Dare‘s radio show, 98.9 the Rock. He also co hosted a couple of the Dare led Rock Fests. Ron has always been a very funny guy and now he wants to follow in the footsteps of his pals Jim Norton and the late Sam Kinison.
Getting on morning tv shows and local radio is tricky with Ron’s adult movie star background that covers hundreds of movies where he is, well, hanging out.
I met Ron in the early 90’s at the American Film Market in Santa Monica when I was promoting my Champions Forever movies. He was pals with my good acting friend Sonny Langham and we all did a couple of lunches together. Seemed like a decent guy.
Look, I know Dante and Rebekah are top notch comics, let’s see just how wild Ron Jeremy is on stage. Should be interesting.

Loved seeing you both Craig Glazer and Ron Jeremy..! I hate that I can’t make the show but I hope tons of Kansas City fans will turn out for what will definitely be a great night of comedy and fun for all !
One man shows are a hot thing. They don’t have to be funny just interesting though I would imagine that with his life he should be able to tell some funny stories.
My experience is the best thing to do is have a set of material that you share. Then open it up to questions from the audience. Keeps the experience fresh and you on your toes.
If u have to go clear back to Reindeer Games as an example of Ron doing mainstream….then you are proving just the opposite.
Its not a one man show he is with Dante and Rebekah…but he opens and is very good.
Also confused? What does you forcing a woman into your lizard like grip with a pen as a weapon have to do with this story? Were you thinking of Ron as you were molesting this girl???? Were u next in line after Ron? I just am trying to figure out the relevance of the picture and the story? Wait….maybe this is what happens to customers if they come to the club and see Ron?

Maybe you did that my friend I never did nobody said I did and of course you know that never happened. My argument was another DJ not Dare was doing what you are doing lying about me on his show. So he was upset with me not being happy about it. Now nobody, I mean nobody said anything about a girl or anything like but YOU. Next time you refer to a corner stone of the radio market as the c’word you’ll realize that your expendable and only being tolerated to bring in some comics for 10 minutes of air time. Your 2nd grade bullying doesn’t even help your business since you need the radio time more than they need you. You know how we can tell when we are telling the truth? You pull that post under your own name card. Besides even if you knew my real name what would you do?
whoever you liar is a good credit for your name. Nobody and I mean no human ever said anything about me calling any female there any name EVER. Johnny Dare sure didn’t. It never happened. So when people like you lie and make things up you need to be called out. Hey I have many haters out there, the higher the profile the more haters one has….look at the Republican Nominees and all the lies people say about all of them I would think.
As far as using a real name. Well it shows you really stand behind what you say. Most people on here don’t do that. I always have. Hearne does, Chuck does, and others.
I just find it odd that someone I don’t know and who clearly doesn’t know me would make up a lie like me being barred due to bothering some female employee or calling her a name. Lozlo as everyone knows is the bad guy in this deal. He went and complained of his ‘fear’ of me due to his constant radio and off radio attacks on me and my comedy venue and staff. He had ZERO reason to do so…maybe he wanted media mileage and listeners like you to chime in who knows. People are strange and when they think you in some ways have it better or look down on them or do something better than them…thus the hate. It’s just a bad think when someone like that has a public program to lie about you on as you just did. That’s all. Why? Who knows. It’s the world we live in these days.
Just so you will know hater Johnny Dare on the his show has several times said he likes having me on and by the way I often do 30-45 minutes myself on the show and have for 21 years….and has gone to bat for me about the issue. The sad thing is the person who complained is an employee and I’m not. So you have legal issues. I’m sure it will all be fixed soon. In the meantime I am on plenty of other morning shows like Q 104.3 and we never have any issues, just fun.
Comparing yourself to a Republican nominee for President. The only thing more out of control than your ego is your ignorance. What is it like pulling up to the studios and telling your smash hit to go on in while you wait in the car? I’m sure if you apologized you could get back in. What say glaze swallow some pride? Guessing by Hearne’s comment on a previous article about Lazlo being lame must have been him you pissed off. Always better when someone else can do your bidding.
I see OK have it your way. I have nothing to apologize for sir. There is no ego involved this happened 7 months ago. We are dealing with it believe me. Guess what sometimes we or even me are in the right. My comics still go in and do their thing and I am still on by phone with Dare or whatever we need to do. Guy is an expert if not one of the best in p.r. in this city.ou Don’t know if he
used profanity but he’s been using this business model for many years to
get his acts on the radio/tv.
truth is I may contest glaze on his calls in sports and politicis but the guy has
an incredible way of getting p.r. for his acts….probably the best in this city.
If you choose to take on glaze for something he claims to have not done then
you must reconcile one way or another whether what you said was true or false.
If he said he didn’t use such language…either prove him wrong or shut up.
I”ve been a commentator on kcc for many many years. One thing I realized is that
glaze stands behind what he says….right or wrong.

what you contend is correct.

Dare didn’t tell you he was going to Vegas and stiffed you after you found out he was there and begged him to “hang” with you on his voice mail.

Uh never begged Dare to hang out, called and told him I’d be there when he was…as it turned out I didn’t even go…soooooo. WTF you talking about, if he played the call and I guess he did, there was no begging just ‘hey I’m at the MGM call if you want’ guess what I don’t need Dare to be with in Vegas when there…man you guys love to start crap huh…oh well….enjoy it.
Ever occur to you if my being on the show a call, or in studio or what have you wasn’t funny or of interest…he wouldn’t bother now would he..get it…its all entertainment and I’m damn entertaining that’s all….why I’ve been in the media here for a couple decades…nobody has a life like that one…mine…THANK GOD…hah.
WOW. Where to begin. At the end??…..just reading Craig writing “THANK GOD” is tragic. I have been at this site clear back when Harley went by another name and Craig wrote….well tried to write….his first stuff. You got to say this. Craig is consistent. Their has been no evolution of the man. Not through insult or death has it changed him. When u disagree he still goes to the stand-by his greatness and everyone else is haters.
I guess we can start at the beginning. After all this time of writing Craig still struggles with making a coherent paragraph. The process of editing his “work” is very draining.
As far as Craig and honesty? Just amazed that anyone would think that is a debatable question. All one has to do is read what he writes. So let’s do that just with this recent stuff.
Going in I had no idea about the alleged deal at a radio station. Never had heard about it. Play The Violin makes this accusation. So in a edited form here is Craig’s response.
1st response-It’s all a lie and nobody said anything like that but “YOU. Meaning Play The Violin. Violin is a hater, he has issues and next thing you know he will accuse someone of being a shooter.
2nd response-No human has ever said anything about him calling a female a name. (Humm so aliens are gossiping about him?) Then Craig admits that their is an issue and it is Lozlo, he is the bad guy in the deal. Wait so now Craig is saying their is truth to Violin’s charge and its not just some hater making stuff up!!!
3rd response-Craig shares with us a complaint has been filed against him from an employee. It’s a legal issue. He will fix it soon.
4th response-Craig tells us that it happened 7 months ago.
So we went from it is all BS made up by a hater to yeah something happened seven months ago and a compliant had been filed. Ahhh….Craig thanks for clearing that up. The more u wrote the clearer the picture became as u just kept digging ur self deeper and deeper.
Craig a liar? Well again Craig has a long history and he answers that question time and time again. You see he wrote a book. If you don’t believe his King Of Sting book then you have to come to the conclusion he is a liar. But if you do believe the book then what does Craig’s account tell you? That he is a liar and he believes he is very skilled at it. Same conclusion.
But here is the sad truth. The person Craig lies to most is himself. He really believes girls are into him and it has nothing to do with the cash he gives them. He believes if a survey was done of KC’s most famous people he would make the top ten. He believes he is a mover and shaker in this city. He believes that famous people want to hang out with him and that radio personalities love him (Gosh Nick Wright would complain so much about how annoying he was).
And Harley if you are still confused? It’s ok I am sure you are at the Cineplex looking for the line for people waiting for Craig’s movie to come out. You know the one which Clint Eastwood is directing.
