“Gone Girl” author Gillian Flynn (of Kansas City) will flip the switch at the Country Club Plaza lighting ceremony.  She’s a respected author.  That’s why readers of this site had no idea who she was.

  1. I think most of us know who Gillian Flynn is, and I for one am looking forward to seeing her again in next year’s reboot of the “X-Files” series on Fox.
