I go back to day one with the Chiefs. Pre-Arrowhead, very few games were shown locally. After their fall from grace, most games at Arrowhead weren’t broadcast either. The fans have continued to support an organization that was more intent to take in the dough and milk the taxpayers, assuming the fans would always support them. The Chiefs sucked for years, most of the seventy’s until Marty. Don’t fret, sportsfans, they’ll be up in St. Joe, so you can drive up to another taxpayer supported facility and watch them ruin a first round draft pick or two.
Maybe we could get Bill Kersten to come up and announce practices-“Hellooooooo Chiefs Fans! Sit back,relax, it’s the Action Hour, it’s All Star Fuckball.”

Is this a terrible game? YES YES YES. But this may shock some of our local sports people. I understand that the Chiefs didn’t schedule this game. I understand that this isn’t like college where you determine who you play. I understand that no one wanted this to be a bad game.
I also LOVE football. And I can find something good about any game. Maybe its a play, a player, or an interesting decision. Sorry that for many of you both professional and just “fans” they have to go 16-0 to enjoy it.

First, who said anything about 16-0? I know I didn’t. There is a deep and yaning chasm between this Chiefs team and mere respectability, forget about going undefeated.
As for what the secret ingredient is, I don’t know. But one things of which I am certain is that owning and running a professional football franchise isn’t my business. I’m not paid millions of dollars to run a franchise and I am not given hundreds of millions of dollars by a city to own one either. If I was, I’d damn sure make it my business, unlike the current brain trust that is the genius behind this abortion of a team. These dudes are making the Three Stooges look like a fucking French literary Salon.
Greg has suggested before that maybe Clark Hunt should get the fuck out of Dallas and come up here and find out why his team stinks like old cheese and he has scrupulously hidden in his owner’s box and his West Plano (or wherever the fuck) mansion while his team, his most visible acquisition and the jewel in his father’s crown, goes to hell in a handbasket. And I am not saying he needs to live here, but maybe he could visit for a few weeks? Listen to some irate fans on the radio, give a few interviews, make some assurances that this bothers him and he is doing his best? Something. As it is we get silence from management and ownership, Todd Haley saying “this team is really practicing well,” and Clark Hunt waving his middle finger when Fan Appreciation Day rolls around in a horrible economy and people can’t or won’t pay for his shitty product.
Again, no one expected 16-0. I didn’t even expect 6-10. But having an owner and a GM who actually answer questions, who pretend to give a good goddamn about the misery of this franchise’s fans, well, that would be a start. And a way to demonstrate that understanding would be a gesture of goodwill by the owner. Hmm…I wonder what gesture Clark Hunt could make that might make fans realize that Clark Hunt feels our pain and is in this with us. I wonder if there is something Clark Hunt could do that would make us think he hates the losing and is willing to sacrifice along with us as he asks us to remodel his stadium and buy up tickets and parking spaces. It sure SEEMS like he could do something like that, but what? Wait. Could he televise the game? Yes. I just checked and he could have written a check that would have him take less money (but still make a tidy profit) from the game but also give the fans something in exchange for their misery. But he didn’t. Fuck you Clark. Fuck your idiot coach who doesn’t have a clue about how to run a team AND call plays AND decide on a philsophy beyond “beats the fuck out of me” when he is pressed with a fourth and short. Fuck your profit center. Fuck your throwback uniforms. Fuck your choking dog of a team who used to at least GET to the playoffs before choking and now can’t even picture that on the horizon. Fuck your niggardly, bottom feeding spending (what are you, $220MM under the salary cap this year?), fuck your overpriced parking and you lame, weak, overpriced product.

clark in november and december…and everyone
downplayed my comments. Now its true. We have
hit rock bottom and it hurts. But until clark
does something about this team and invests the
money needed to make it a contender…we don’t
have shit.
2. I consistently ranted about the taxpayers of
jackson county getting f*cked. I consistently
said that carl and lamar bamboozled the county into putting 500 million dollars into the
stadium for bathroom renovations. Noone backed
me up. Now…the taxpayers are starting to scream and its time that the country executives
and the dumbf*k mayor marched out to arrowhead
and sat down with mr. hunt and read him the
riot act and said that they did their part…now
its up to him to make the investment needed to
get this team right. Who’s fighting for the
taxpayers? Who’s representing the people who
paid for this crappy renovation? Noone…so now
its about time for the elected reps to grab little lamar by his balls and shake up this
piece of shit.
3. Blame game: stop blaming carl peterson.
He was lamars pit bull. The marching orders that
carl did were from the top. Carl sucked lamars
d*ck for all those years to stay in the money.
We can sit here and cry all day long…carl’s
somehwere counting his money and jackson county’s
so deep in debt that its red ink for years.
4. ACTION: find out where clark is gonna be.
and lets ambush this guy and ask him some serious
questions. Hundreds/thousands of people depend on
the team for a lving. From the beer vendors to the suppliers…its big money and clark has to
answer for them. This is naother case where
government has subsidized private businesses and
the busineesess could give a shit about the
people holding the tab for him
5. California is a perfect example of what
our city is becoming. They allowed both political
parties in the state to take advantage of the
taxpayers money and steal it. As beautiful as this city is, los angeles is teeming with
so many problems it’s amazing that it doesn;t
collapse under them. Its time to stop all those
filthy lying politicians…they have ruined this
nation while the rest of us pay the bills and
they loot the money.
6. Thanks to all my fans who respond to my

If Missouri does join the Big 10, it will be as much about academics and the dollars and cents in that arena as it will be about football or basketball, although that would be a huge draw as well.
Imagine the stadium expansion at Mizzou for home conference games against Michigan, Penn State and Ohio State.
But back to academics and a thing called the CIC, or the Committee for Institutional Cooperation.
The CIC is the collegiate academic equivalent of the athletic BCS. Composed of the current members of the Big 10 and the University of Chicago, the CIC is a consortium of academic cooperation and grant money that each year means millions to every one of its members.
No other athletic-based conference in the nation – short of the Ivy League – has anything like this that is so valuable to all of the league members.
It is why Brady Deaton and Jay Nixon are willing to listen, even eager to listen. It is why the Big 12 better take seriously the possibility that Missouri will take its footballs, and basketballs, and baseballs away from the New Southwest Conference and find a better deal in the Big Ten.

Then after a two week comedown following the Final Four, it’s NFL Draft time in prime time. Thursday night. Get your popcorn.
I expect Pioli to sign at least 4-5 impact starters, if not more. The Chiefs offense will undergo an entire overhaul. A new center, right tackle, right guard, one if not two WRs, a new tight end, and probably a 2nd tier free agent RB to create a 1-2 punch with Jamaal Charles.
There’s always hope, and that’s what March and April bring when you’re a fan of a really band NFL team.

I am so happy that Clark is catching so much shit so early in his ownership of the team. In my opinion, Lamar never got anywhere near the amount heat as he deserved. If you think about it, since they won the Super Bowl they have been good for about 10 out of 40 years. The 70’s & 80’s were so god-awful and they are back to that now. Lamar was above reproach for some reason. I guess because he seemed like a frail old man people were not allowed to question him. The guy made hundreds of millions of dollars off the people of KC and we never held his feet to the fire for his lousy teams. His pitch on KK’s show before the vote was disgraceful. He fully thought he was entitled to the taxpayers money. You could hear it in his answers and how unprepared he was. “How dare you peasants ask how my(your) money is going to be spent” was his attitude. When KK asked Lamar if he would rather win the Super Bowl and lose a dollar or make a dollar and not win the SB told us all we needed to know about him. He replied that he would rather make the dollar. This from the guy whose dad was at one time the richest man in America. Neither Lamar or Clark have had to earn a penny in their entire lives but look how cheap they are and how they don’t mind taking our money one bit. Guarantee Clark did not fall too far from that tree.
