Mick Schaffer is a KU alum. But an OSU fan.

The Chiefs will need 4 QB’s this season. Playing the Chiefs is a D-Coordinators version of turning Caligula loose at a whore house.

J-Ice aka JC is a homer. I prefer Grunny’s tell it like it is approach, awkward as it may be sometime.

The week one Nostradamus award goes to Joe Flacco.

Tim “No I don’t. I live in Kansas.” Grunhard sounds like he just finished off a bottole of jack during every interview.

He and Maas are the worst.

    810 scoops 610 once again!

Greg once again, we see it the same, maybe thats cause early on we both agreed the Royals and Chiefs for now are at the bottom in both leagues, in other words they stink and are hard to watch….however like you I see some blue sky, I like our new GM and I think I like Haley..but Tim Grunhard, who by the way folks is a very very nice person and if you met him you would like him and no he is not a drunk…Look forward to having Bill Mass back at 610 and doing his show from time to time….

If you watched last nights game with the Steelers and Titans, then you saw two real football teams with bigtime D….thats what it looks like for four quarters…like you noticed Greg…AND HEY WE DONT LOOK LIKE THAT,SO WE ARE GONNA LOSE ALMOST EVERY GAME THIS YEAR TIL WE FIND PLAYERS…SORRY, Nick you know better…

    Arte,
Thanks for the fix. Always thought Shaffer was a Cowboy.

    Pt,
We must be listening to the same thing with different colored ears.

I was at the KU game and they don’t impress me. Maybe they were playing it vanilla, but 21 of those 49 points came in the 4th quarter against an tired and small team.

Grunhard didn’t used to be, but that dude is money on the radio now. He has nobody to answer to, no ratings to worry about, he’s much more relaxed now, far removed from the Chiefs and no longer a novice on the radio – and all that combined has made him a much better listen than he used to be.

    Ravens 20
    Chiefs 13

Missouri’s win shouldn’t be tarnished in any way, but no way in hell is Illinois one of the best teams in the Big 10. They might not finish in the upper division.

I can not even remember the last time these fkhds even scored a touchdown, let alone won a fking game … anyone recall? ….

    didnt think so : (

Old Man you realize Grunhard was on 810 right?

Greg-So you think the Raiders are going to beat the Chiefs twice? You sure you are just mowing the grass? Do you find the Raiders QB more experienced then our QB? I’ll give you that their defense may be better then what most think. But that offense is horrid. Didn’t they lose a preseason game like 44-6 (makes u wonder about the defense even)? Their is a reason Seymore doesn’t want to go to that arm pit. You missed the mark on this one.

not to sound negative, or anything, but WHEN the TV blackouts come, the fans/people will be gone. No more comments, no more caring ….. zilch …. nada … bye bye ….. fk clark cunt, we are fed up, cuz when we can not even watch, then who cares?

WHAT IS worse than a bunch of milllionaire LOSERS, and that is what our pro athlete teams are… MILLLIONAIRE LOSERS!!!!

not to sound depresssed or anything, but can I get some of those pills?, and a bottle of jack …. to go>>>>>.

Looks like Ptolemy called Hall out on his KK bias. I always find it interesting that Greg will take pot shots at KK for his infidelity. But, continues to kiss Maas and Grunhard rear. We all know about Tim

I see 6 wins on the Chiefs schedule barring lots of injuries. This is not one of them. A new offense that was just put in 2 weeks ago and an offense that is struggling anyway add up to few points being scored by us.

The only way I see us winning is if the defense is responsible for 10+ points otherwise we are going to be in trouble.

    Quotes in Saturdays KC STAR

“Coaches come and go and change but there’s only one thing that stayed with Kansas City, and it’s our ability to run the football and our ability to put points on the board. I’m confident in that aspect of the game.” Larry Johnson
Rick as GH: I’m confident in what Chief’s player should be drug tested first.

“This is a big test.” It’s loud in Baltimore, such a great atmosphere. We’ll learn a lot about ourselves in that game.” Mike Goff
Rick as GH: You learn a lot about yourself during a prostate exam but it’s not necessarily things you want to know.

hey rick…saturday afternoon…why not get outside in the sunshine. Maybe take a walk out
of your mom’s basement. How about a trip to
    chuckie cheese.
Dude: Get a life. You’re too serious with this
site. Still thinking about opening that card
pack? Still waiting for this site to post some
info that you can talk about? Waiting for the
big pizza and cola party tonight at grandmas?
Dude: do something else. I’m afriad I’ll see you
walking the perp walk thru the police station
after getting popped for kiddie porn.
    Dude: get a life!

KK deep down thinks that KSU could win the North. Well, that loss last nite should put an end to that.
And any chance KK gets to take a pot shot at Mangino he will. Coach Mangino is about 2-3 years from surpassing what Snyder did. Anybody doubt that?

tom j-Dude-It looks like you are spending as much time on the site as me. But Dude since you are concerned, home ill so killing time reading USA Today NFL preview, computer, sleeping, and watching TV. The Serena Williams ending seemed like a finish out of pro wrestling. Dude-thanks for your concern. And dude i think the fact that you are worried about me indicates you need to get a life!!! Chiefs in tie ball game whoaa…dude. Wish I lived with mom as she would fix me some chicken soup. I love sports and OTC. Looks like my Cleveland prediction is wrong. Dude. Grandmas dead….:( Peace out

Great Serena shot. Funny stuff B.G. I would of never guessed Chiefs would of scored 24 against Ravens no matter how or who it was done by. Football is full of surprises thats why i love it.

A lot of betting heartbeats quickened at the end of that game, which is why I stopped gambling on the NFL a long time. Anyone who denies the affect of gambling on the NFL, please explain why a team go for a TD, when a “guaranteed” field goal puts the game out of reach, but a failed TD leaves it open for a tied game…

answer, the spread was 14, and it must be covered….not to conspiracy theory, or anything; )

KC comes up short at the end. Diffrent year, diffrent staff. Same Cheifs. 810 has the best post game show out there. Harry puts on a great show.

    810 scoops 610 once again.

you gotta give these guys credit. They played til
the end with all they had. Baltimore has incredible talent as we saw last year.
With Matt back and some real games under their
belts I still got to believe that something
    very good should happen.
They need a serious receiver with speed asap.
They just didn’t have enough weapons today.
But they had a lot of heart. It may be a long
road back but by games 4-16 I hope we see
dramatic improvement. Every chiefs fan should have seen some bright spots today.
And Rick: Get better soon. It seems like you post more crap on here than anyone else. So you
must be sick all the time! Take some vitamins
and get out in the sunshine and out of your
mom’s basement. Wow. Exciting day. Reading
about sports. Maybe, just maybe get some books/
    magazines about culture/health and fitness/maybe
even read up on the world outside your bedroom.

Thanks Tom J for the get well wishes.

I read a variety of stuff. Try Greg Illes or Philip Margolin. Not sure if the spelling on either of those are right. Strangely I read a lot about churches. Try Under the Overpass about two young men that travel the country visiting various churches. And Jim and Casper Go To Church which is about a pastor and atheist that go to church together.

My guess is that their are very few people that know as much about health and fitness as i do…..but sadly I apply very little of it. You can read about how to fly a plane but if you never get in the cockpit….. Here is your health tip for the day. If you just add one thing to your diet make it blueberries as they have shown to have a positive impact on numerous areas of your health.

I think I lead a very active life. I was at the NFL Hall Of Ceremony (Huge Bob Hayes fan)
This last week I went to a TV screening of the up coming season.
A couple of weeks ago toured a Youth Services facility.
Went to the Shawn Edwards Black movie festival.
Was at the premiere of the movie Adam.
Knees are shot so don’t do a lot of physical stuff except swim and walk. Looking forward to KC and the new pro basketball team.

I’m no Craig Glazer or Hearne but my plate is pretty full.

    Yikes-good point
