The weathermen hate it and the media hates it even more…
Nice fall and early winter weather, that is. We’ve had no snow and not much cold weather thus far and it’s nearly January. Yes, November and December have had almost spring like temps as high as the 70’s. I’ve had to turn my air on a few days ago. Yep, it’s LA type fall/winter so far.
Will it last?
According to upcoming forecasts there is no big snow in sight for the next week or so. So it may hold through December. I remember about 10 years back we had a couple back to back mild winters like this one. Global warming? Who knows.

I do know this much, it sure helps get people to go out and shop, entertain and enjoy our city. Make no mistake, the news folks are dying to tell you, “Don’t go out today or tonight – the roads will be slick and dangerous. If you don’t have to go out stay home!!! A blizzard is on the way!”
Of course, then we get only one or two inches of snow if that. However the TV weather wonks show us clips of cities miles away with heavy snow just to remind us of our fate if we dare to go out anywhere. You can count on that.
In the meantime, enjoy the mild fall and early winter.

California needs heavy snowfall north to keep their drought from getting
worse…and farmers are seeing this shift and its costing them billions.
Hopefully north gets some snow for the runoff.
And today the world gathered and realized that the deniers are just
liars and cheats for the fossil fuel industry that is destroying our planet.
