Glazer: Trump Slips — Hillary vs. Carley?

CAdcbqSU0AEW34VYes, Donald Trump still leads in the Republican presidential polls…

However Trump’s lead has dropped a bit while others have risen. He still has  24% of the vote, but that’s down from  32% a few weeks back, prior to last week’s debate.

Carley Fiorina is the big news.

She’s in second with 15% while Ben Carson has fallen to 14%. Marco Rubio is now in the thick of things at 11% with Jeb Bush up to 9%. Scott Walker dropped out and the rest of the field is weak, with most with under 4%.

And it seems unlikely any of the other candidates will climb enough to matter.

So is Trump in trouble?

He may be. He did OK in the debate but he still has no firm plan like did Fiorna. Rubio is a young, handsome, hard-nosed man with a plan as well. Bush came off as a nice guy with lots of heart and passion but just not a powerhouse.

How crazy would that be: two women nominated for the presidency of the United States?

Hillary vs. Carley!

So it looks like it’s shaping up to be a real battle between Rubio, Carly and Bush for the top spot, along with Trump.

However, if the Donald doesn’t start getting more specific on his plans to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, he could see his No. 1 spot fall in the next couple months. A ticket of Rubio/Fiorina or Bush/Fiorina might be a strong one against Clinton.

It appears Hillary will not be kicked out of the race due to computer gate. She’s likely the Dem nominee. Trump may drop out if he falls too far behind, or go indy. You just never know with the Donald.

rtx1gzco-croppedI felt he had a real shot earlier, but his shoot from the hip style combined with little substance will eventually do him in if he doesn’t do some homework – which he seems unwilling to do.

So at some point a three person race is likely with Carly, Marco and Bush. Donald is quite the show, but as many have said, he may just be out to have some fun and loving the attention.

Trump’s brand is sky high now and maybe it’s best for him to drop out fairly soon with some kind of excuse, rather than leave while trailing. Who knows with the Donald? He wins either way.

Because, because of him these debates have been like NFL playoff games with huge ratings and he’s brought a ton of extra attention to the Republican party.

  1. Guy Who Says What Others Think says:

All of the candidates disgust me. The American people truly have no good candidate to vote for. The day I vote for that crook Hillary Clinton is the day I slice my own face off with a razor. And I’m not voting for some corporate raider like Donald Trump either.

  2. Bob says:

“Carley Fiorina is the big news.”

You can’t even spell her name correctly. You repeatedly misspelled it.

  3. HearARLEY says:

    another glaze story…another stupid story.
seriously glaze…I gotta believe hearne is wanting to turn this blog into the onion.
first it was your man love of trump…well he’s going to drop out because he has
no campaign organization and he doesn’t want to be a loser like the rest of his
    gang.
so carly: she’ll last about 1 month before they tear her apart. Always listen to
the ex’s when looking at someone…her ex really tore her up. Again another
    business failure…..killed hp/lucent…lost in California…..
and glaze…with her face (as trump said) I’m surprised you like her.
TRUMP: “LOOK AT THAT FACE…I MEAN THAT FACE RUNNING THE COUNTRY”……….
So glaze…you flip flop more than the huge breasts at those strip clubs you go to.
And worst of all you’re always wrong. Repubs would never nominate a woman or
a black man. Maybe its Rubio…maybe its bush.
Either way any dem beats all those clowns by a landslide.
Carley is not going to get anything. This is 2012 all over again…each of the clowns
getting their day in the sun…until they pick one real big loser.
Istill hope its trump….because you ain’t got no good comedians coming and tv
sucks right now except for the royals and chiefs…and we need an entertainer
with a rat on his headto keep us laughing.
Where’s southy and wisolong? what’s their take?
Where’s lois lerner? Wisolongs favorite fake name….
Where’s whinery? still got his photo with mitt on ebay for 3.99?
Harley sits lauging as glaze and the rest of kcc clowns try to figure it out.
Well here’s the fact: no more republican presidents in any of you dudes
lifetime (based on you being 65 with life expectancy of about 5 years) OR YOUR
    KIDS LIFETIME.
and once the lies against Hillary stop and she runs…she’ll have 2 billion dollars…
1.5 million volunteers….one of the most advanced gotv organizations and she
will clobber the low energy bush or the funky Rubio.
Stop dreaming boys….its just the way it is!!!!

  4. HearARLEY says:

glaze said “I felt he had a real shot earlier”

THAT IS THE KISS OF DEATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Kerouac says:

Being subject the ups & downs political polls is tantamount folks buying or selling each & every time the stock market adjusts.

    Go.
    Stop.
    Wait.
    Retreat.
    Charge!

    [ Wash, Rinse, Repeat ]

    Ditto elections.

Interesting to imagine one or more women vying office President… delusion to expect any could/will win, even post-modern era. No different Swiss Chiefs fandom deluding themselves ‘this is our year’, part 2015, verse 46.

Neither Fiorina or Clinton (nor any person who wears a dress, nod non-sexism century 21) has a realistic chance to be the nominee their party, Carly & Hildabeast but future footnotes history same Victoria Woodhill, Gracie Allen & Shirley Chisholm, et al.

Having been through the desert on a horse with no name the last wasted eight years, no Reagan or JFK come to the rescue, only one can repair the damage a not-so-magic negro his fiefdom has inflicted, darkest of black days US history:

    TRUMP 2016!

    🙂

  6. Jim a.k.a. BWH says:

Like a circus clown, Trump has not failed to entertain. He is, after all, just an entertainer. POTUS? hahaha Oh, please.

Fiorina? Like all politicians, she has a strained relationship with the truth. Her’s a bit more strained than most.

Ben “Evolution is a myth” Carson? Don’t think so. I prefer candidates that don’t inhabit Crazyville, USA. Wow. Just wow.

The great bible-thumping Cruz? ’nuff said.

I’m with GWSWOT. The choices are slim and none and slim is bat-crap crazy.

  7. Hot Carl says:

Worrying about it now is a fool’s game, anyway (hence Glazer’s love affair at this stage). Once we get to Super Tuesday this will all start to sort itself out.

  8. Stomper says:

Now that we have made it to Autumn, the pretenders (Trump, Carson, Fiorina) will all start to fade away. Bush is the 800 lb. gorilla and he ends up with the nomination. The only one with even the slimmest shot at beating him is Rubio and that only happens if Rubio doesn’t mention anything other than jobs, the economy, taxes, and foreign policy from here on out. If he continues to brownnose the conservative base by ranting about Planned Parenthood, deporting immigrants, or social issues, he is toast as well. He needs to direct his focus on the 50% of voters in the middle, not the far right base of the party. Kasich is a sharp guy and a great candidate for the GOP but, again, you can’t get more establishment than the GOP and Kasich has not been a leader long enough to earn the support of the establishment. He would be a great VP with Bush or Rubio. Then you have both Florida and Ohio ( critical swing states) covered.

The dilemma the GOP has right now is the Pope. Here he is in our country hammering on climate change, immigration, treatment of the poor, big capitalism, etc. but he is taking the positions that are opposed by republicans. The majority of white catholics are republican but their spiritual leader is putting them in a tough spot. The next few days will be fun to watch. Hearne, this is a topic that begs for an offering. Steele, Wilson, Sutherland ???

    • HearARLEY says:

thanks stomp…nice writing but I totally disagree with you.
Just because Rubio is from florida…or Kasich is from ohio really
      means nothing.
Further…with the tongue lashing trump has given almost every
republican candidate its highly unlikely you wont see those comments
      usd on tv again.
Third and the simple reason I disagree with you is that no candidate will
win without 45-47 per cent of the Hispanic vote…simple equation known
by every political person. Rubio has flipped on immigration…so has
bush..and weknow from polls that the republican party is get about a
10% approval rate from Hispanics. Bush can speak all the Spanish he
wants….with ramos against you…you do not win Hispanic votes.
One writer here said it best…wait for super Tuesday…with many southern
states primaries. I have been saying that if trumpcan make to to super
Tuesday…those southern republicans love him down there…and it
could be a real mess if he can make it to there with the delegate counts.
Also, the demcrats start out with 240 electoral votes…that’s republican
consultants saying ythat….and they don’t need ohio or florida…but what
is happening right now…is the registration of Hispanics (who decide
this election) 120,000 have been newly registered in KENTUCKY….red
state Kentucky….and tey are registering hundreds of thousands between now
and election day…their goal is another 1.5-2 million new Hispanic voters
(who traditionally vote 2-1 democratic…andthanks to trump and the
rest of the repub candidates it will be even more democratic in 2016).
Add to that Hillary with billions of dollars….1.5 million volunteers…and
even oreally says she canmake it thru this email thing…she takes huge
chunk of female vote. Whats left…the old males who vote republican.
Even Biden could beat any repub.
Its not about policy….except immigrationwhich has fired up the Hispanic
community like nothing ever seen. Its like yourbusines…a question
      of numbers.
Look at the numbers and you see that millenials outnumber baby boomers…
and millenials are in this election bigtime. And with the repubs dissing
everything the millenials believe in ….they have no hopeof capturing
      that voter segment.
Problem for all republicans is that trump is forcing them to the far right..
which is not where the nation is now…..
oh…and don’t forget the black vote which has increased dramatically since
2012…so the dems can get a smaller % or fewer blacks vote but it doesn’t
matter…they and the Hispanics are the ticket to the white house.
And if repubs shut down govt over planned parenthood…its essentially
over!!!!!!!!!! America is not ready for those games!
But I hope its trump…we need an entertainer! Imagine the repub
convention nominating trump….who would give a speech? Not too
many would…and I’m pretty sure carly would be on vacation during that
      time.
Remember its numbers……………its not where you’re from….its just
plain numbers and now the Koch brothers lost their child walker…who do
they put their money on. That’s fun to watch.
You will never see a republican in the whitehouse again in your lifetime!
      your pal
      Harley

      • Stomper says:

I didn’t say the republicans could win, just who, in my humble opinion, gives them the best chance at maximizing their votes. I’m in total agreement with you that Hillary is our next president.

The GOP needs to win in Florida and in Ohio. Having candidates on the ticket from those states in the general election can only help them so I DO think that makes a difference. You have to play to win and anything they can do to win swing states is where they need to focus.

And if you actually read and comprehend what I write, then you don’t totally disagree with me.

        • HearARLEY says:

          dear chuckles:
          1. go read the recent pewgroup polling findings
on catholocism before you take the idiot headlines
off the drudge report. Mass attendance is not
what that headline says…(here’s a jew explaining
catholic beliefs to a goyem drek…ask stomper to
          translate

          2. no youre wrong again…capitalism is great but
it has gotten out of hand. too much power concentrated in a few greedy hands. too much money to way too few
people who had a plan and turned it into their own
world. Like the laws that allow companies to move
profits made in the u.s. to other countries to avoid
taxes. The wealthy paid the politicians to make this
happen. Now those not in the crowd are forced with
paying their share…the rest roam free.

You hate everyone. I saw the pope today on tv.
An incredible speech that while chastising America
said that we are the bastion of dreams.
you hate dems/you hate reupbs///you hate yourself!
The drudge report…now theres a real fair and balanced site…sure you go there often but most of their stories are about zombies and robots!!!!!!
The popes speech was right perfect. I don’t agree withsome of his beliefs or policies but he spoke
as caring/believing/and most of all having a heart for those billions that suffer.
You don’t read the bible. I can tell. You should…because what the pope said is just what you
should know is in that book. You are the problem…your hate…you despicable vile language…
your personal lack of compassion for anyone or anything….your total disdain for the principles of decency and caring…tjhey’re all in that book .
You old man have lost your moral compass…you are the loser you are.
And most importantly you are a horrid human being.
Have you ever done a charitable act in your life?
Maybe once you do at your ageyou’ll see what the
pope is talking about…..you are wretched…but as the song said “you can be saved”…
god bless you and your family.

          • chuck says:

This, from a Liberal, lickspittle, “Beta” male, whose ad hominem insults along with the “courage” of his convictions are made public from behind the anonymity of a misspelled nom de plume, with all the verve and elan of a chimpanzee on methamphetamines.

I think I know the source of your abominable syntax and misspellings. Your natural and most comfortable position is on your knees, both literally and metaphorically.

Hate is a productive and useful emotion in the PC Culture War we are all forced to fight. your hate is couched in faux sanctimony and condescension. Mine is the result of experience and the ability to discern the truth. You belong on your knees. It suits you.

          • Kitty Scrotum says:

Nice job of taking to FOOL to SKOOL, Chuck! I love Kitty Scrotums endless personal attacks, insults, libelous charges, name calling then his admonitions on hate and hatred!
            Classic

  9. chuck says:

The Pope is just as big a shill for destructive Progressive agenda as any Liberal policy wonk inside the Beltway. The Drudge Report holds the Pope’s infallible slippers to the fire today.

A couple of headlines on today’s Drudge Report.

“VATICAN HAS STRICTEST IMMIGRATION POLICY IN WORLD…”

“Women allowed only if married to Swiss Guard or other legal citizen…”

“Photos of the wall around the Vatican.”

“Pope Echoes Obama’s ‘Offensive’ Prayer Breakfast Remarks…”

    “All religions susceptible to extremism…”

“Live mic catches woman saying wants to ‘take shoe off and throw it’…”

“Pope praises US bishops’ response to abuse, angering victims…”

“Mass Attendance Down 2/3 Since Last Papal Visit…”

“DC Climate Rally for Pope shrinks from expected 200,000 people to just ‘hundreds’…”

“FLASHBACK: Does the USA Need a Nationwide Exorcism? ”

“Michelle O Wore $2300 Dress to Greet Pontiff…”

The Pope’s plan, for all nations to adopt a Socialist/Communist Kleptocracy to guide we sinners through this mortal veil is preposterous. The unambiguated evidence of the failure (In our freshly remembered past, like last fu*kin month, Greece and Venezuela…) of these Soviet styled governments is readily apparent, to all, but, the Liberal, WILLFULLY IMPERCIPENT.

The, undefeated, number one, top of the heap strategy for lifting those poor huddled masses out of poverty, is CAPITALISM. Even with armies of Liberals with Harley like abilities, infesting Federal and State Governments and sitting in the White House (Change that name to the “Multiculturalism House”, the White Guilt is killing me.), vetoing, regulating, over reaching and flat out ignoring the Constitution, the American People over come the legislation, deal with the onerous paperwork, the Stasi IRS, the legion of Alpha Bet Soup dictators inflicted on them by a pernicious and destructive Centralized, Statist elite and create, sell, dream and FRACK their way to the top, all the while dragging the entitled, myopic, self loathing, ethnomasochistic, America hating left with them.

American Capitalism, will, endure for a while, not because of the left and President Hillary Clinton, but in spite of the left and President Hillary Clinton.

    • chuck says:

Full disclosure, I am disgusted with the Republicans too. Carly, just the other night on TV, went ballistic on Putin and the Russians in Syria.

Nuts. Just crazy. If Putin wants to build a base there and take on the whack job pukes (Ben Carson is right, NO Muslim should be President.) in the never ending conflict in the Mid East, LET HIM! Stability equals possitive financial possibilities. By the way, why don’t more Mid east nations take in Refugees?

I have not heard Ben Carson rattling any sabers so far, I like him.

It’s time the Russians went back to war over there, with our approval and help.

    • Rubio says:

      Chuck,

I am sorry to hear the ill feelings you have toward the Holy Father, Pope Francis, and the Catholic family. Church tradition is consitent and is integrated. Two thousand years of tradition and the oldest form of “case law” in the world behind Judaism (the Jews). Pope Francis has changed nothing during his Papacy, and the traditions of Canon Law are the same under Pope Francis as it was under the more conservative Popes Benedict and John Paul. The Republican and Democratic platforms have changed over the years, while Catholicism has stayed fairly consistent.

The Catholic Church is the “seemless garment”, consistent in its views, unlike our current political parties. I cannot identify with either party, because neither party has any consistency in their views on social justice. I lean Republican, because without an option regarding social justice, I default to fiscal conservatism.

I pray that you harden not your heart to the dignity of all people and the sanctity of life. God bless you, Chuck. I mean that in all sincerity, and with no malice. I truly believe, with the deepest of faith, that the world would be a better place if we all loved our neighbor as we love ourselves.

      • chuck says:

I respect your opinion and thank you for the kind words.

However, the “Climate Change” pope is a political animal by his own design. If he gets in the ring, he has to take shots just like everyone else. I would, without even knowing you, be able to tell you that I would take direction and advice from you a light year before I would listen to the Pope.

This from a former altar boy who escaped unscathed.

I harbor no ill will at all to any Catholics. Again, the Pope’s stances on myriad subjects are, for the most part, the same as the apparatchiks on MSNBC. He is no more infallible than the Borgia Pope and just as manipulative in my opinion.

Thanks again for your kind words and God bless you too.

  10. CG says:

Guys this is about who I like its about whats happening now…I do like Trump but things have changed….time will tell…I can’t pretend noting happened….three candidates are on his butt…by the way Chuck I agree the Pope coming here with his b.s. is about as important as us getting wether reports from South Africa…not at all…I will address that next what a farce that is…

    • Here is a weather report from South Africa. It will be cold in July this year and hot in December, with gusting winds bringing the smell of corruption, dystopia, dysfunction and decay that is concomitant with the real time decay of evil white bodies who are systematically murdered in a nation wide, government sponsored genocide that the world will continue to ignore. Please stand now, and sing in memory of me, our National Anthem, “Kill The Boer”.

Eric Holder may have gone to Michael Brown’s funeral, but the President came to mine. As my entire country is reduced to the typical, run of the mill, garden variety, African cesspool nation and we meet the African continental economic mean that demands the west provide succor, cash, sympathy and White Guilt, my apotheosis continues to thrill those WILLFULLY IMPERCIPIENT zombies who, while I laugh up my sleeve here in hell, think I used to get up early every day to let the sun out, when, actually, I was a terrorist.

      • David Duke says:

As usual. Chuck. You nailed it. Personally, I blame Abraham Lincoln.

        • The Ghost of George Wallace says:

You’re on to something there David but the true blame goes much earlier than that. Our Creator, in his willfully impercipient wisdom, choose to begin the path of human evolution on the African continent. It’s all gone downhill from there.

    • onaneedtoknowbasis says:

B.S.? You may not agree but have a little respect, eh? Or didn’t Daddy teach you? If I were you I’d stay indoors during thunderstorms.

If I may ask, are you a Catholic?

    • HearARLEY says:

we can hardly wait…for glaze…the pious religious man to inform us
about his feeling on the pope.
      1. I guarantee glaze didn’t see the popes speech.
      2. couldn’t understand what the speech was about and its overall attempt to coax action by a horrible congress….
      3. that it willgo down as another faceplant. The royals defied the
great glaze by winning the central division….despite glazes flip flop
      on every game…every issue….every statement.
      4. it will be laugher ……now disappoint us glaze cause you’re an atheist
and none of what the pope says makes sense to you….because you have
no god to lead you or protect you.

    • HearARLEY says:

no things haven’t changed. You still continue to loser after loser after
loser. Get your dachshund and get your picks from him.
He could never do as bad as you do!!!!! hahahahaha!

have a great weekend glaze and your little you wisolongoo.
and remember…kc has never lost to green bay in green bay.

  11. Rubio says:

I think Rubio, Fiorina, and Bush are all solid candidates. Of the three that is my order of preference

    1. Rubio (Catholic, and overall the most thoughful candidate, imho)
    2.Fiorina (Economy)
    3.Bush

    • HearARLEY says:

Fiorina knows how to handle theeconomy? she ruined hp and lucent
eseentially sent them on a death spiral then bought 5 jets and a big old boat.
      then sent those jobs offshore.
Yes she is a great leader…just what we need this moment…

      • admin says:

Harley is correct on this one. And it’s not hard to research online.

      • Rubio says:

Well I am the last to say, I know everything. But having market experience over the years, and with a very vivid memory of hardware bust at the time, I tend to look past the sensational headline put out by the media. Once you understand the way Boards work during bust cycles and turnarounds, you may have a better understanding of the situtation Mrs. Fiorina was in. Would you say that Trump failed by declaring his company bankrupt four times? If the answer is yes, then I suggest you do a little more reading into the way large corporations work. It is a by-product of congress and regulation more than the business acumen of the leaders. A better argument would be, why hasn’t Mrs. Fiorina been offered another job on a Board of Directors in the last 10 years. That is more indicative of her economic saavy than the performance of HP during her tenure.

But given all of that, I would ask you, what candidate, from either party has a winning record on the economy? What has are Secretary Clinton’s economic credentials? What are Jeb Bush’s economic credentials? The only candidates with better economic credentials are Kasich (having balanced the federal budget).

        No candidate is perfect.

  12. CFPCowboy says:

Biden versus Fiorina? Hillary, if the news from the FBI is true, deleted work e-mails, a felony. (FBI has recovered both work and private e-mails from her wiped server). Republicans do not have to impeach her first. Trump is starting to fade, and nobody, at this stage really wants to see Bush. Democrats did too good a job on the Bush name. They just want his money. Democrats have also done too good a job in the Senate, besting McConnell, who thinks Democrat filibusters are enough to hold off discontented Republicans. It is the reason Trump, Fiorina, and Carson, the outsiders, have done well in the primary season. The key is really how far Clinton sinks. If she sinks far enough in the polls, then Justice has no reason to bargain (the political version of giving her a charge of defective equipment for a DUI). Trump would self destruct, having the thinnest skin and no scruples. So is Hillary. It will be a balancing act with Hillary, knowing when she is no longer a viable candidate (non-felon), and she has been ineffective in stopping the steady drip, drip, drip of Benghazi and e-mails. It won’t be Cinton against Fiorina, but Fiorina would present an intricate challenge for Democrats who claim it is a woman’s turn, especially if Clinton is no longer in the picture (Biden the sexist?). Now, it’s getting interesting. The key will be what happens in Congress. There is enough Republican malcontent that Republicans could lose majorities.

    • HearARLEY says:

Hillary just needs to get all these b.s. deals done. she’ll have her chance
in front of congress in October….she tore theira$$es last time and she’ll do
it again because there’s no proof…..the laws took effect after she left…
but it she can get thru that hearing…and the debates….she will win
      in a landslide.
bush will probably bore the repubs into taking him because he’s the
worst but who they gonna take….dr. carson the fool.
wonnt make much difference is Hillary can get thru tehse bogus
hearings and as oreilly (you man love) said they won’t get her on
anything because she’s smart enough to know how to handle this
situation. then she’ll take castro from HUD and its a huge blowout
      in nov. 16.
CFP cowboy…..sorry….youre way off on this one.

    • Stomper says:

Cowboy, you’re talking from your heart and not your head. The republicans are getting a little traction with the email issue and it still can carry a bit of influence until we get to the point where there are only two left standing. I really think the email issue carries much weight only with those that aren’t going to vote democratic anyway. She made a mistake not having a separate government account for State Dept. business but it will not result in criminal action, imho. Once we get to the point where it is Hillary versus Bush or Hillary versus Rubio, the focus will turn to jobs, taxes, economy, foreign policy, and immigration. If our country is going to move forward, those better be the topics. Anybody who thinks Benghazi is an issue bases that opinion on hatred of Hillary and not rational thought. I’ve written it here a number of times but guessing you haven’t read it. Cowboy, google “Reagan’s Benghazi” , read it in total, and then get back to me if you still think her actions there were criminal. If you do, then Reagan should have been impeached on the spot.

As far as the republicans losing their majority in Congress, it certainly won’t happen in the House until the next census is released ( during Hillary’s second term 🙂 ) The state legislatures that are controlled by republicans did a masterful job of gerrymandering districts to favor republicans following the last census release. The House will remain republican for the foreseeable future, regardless of the impending democratic victory in the presidential election. The Senate may come back to the democrats but that’s a big maybe at this point.

Thanks, Cowboy. Normally your offerings are a bit more rational and not so emotional.

Stomp is 100% on fire with that last post. I’ll add that Carly and Ben are getting propped up by the GOP to split off voters from Trump. The GOP will never allow any of those three to get the nom.
