Glazer: Super Bowl Here We Come!

2ps361eWell, at least I picked the right teams to win…

Too bad Indy just got walked on so bad that even the 13 points in the tease didn’t help.

Most fans will be pulling for the New England Patriots and Tom Brady.

It’s Tom’s sixth Super Bowl and nobody has six. A win would secure the title BEST QUARTERBACK OF ALL TIME for Brady. And he may already be just that.

The Pats played the perfect game crushing the Colts from the opening bell.

It was a 45-7 win with many records broken by the Pats. Indy is the AFC team of the future. Just not right now. Mister Blunt ran over the Colts like they weren’t there. Three touchdowns in both games were a record for any back in the post season.

tumblr_lxobisUnNr1r8yv7lo1_400The Seahawks had the miracle comeback down 19-7 with just over six minutes left in the game. They get two quick touchdowns, recovered an onside kick and won it with a beautiful touchdown pass in overtime from Russell Wilson and very little time left.

Unreal, amazing.

Who will win Super Bowl 49?

Right now it’s a pick ’em game.

Some casino’s have New England as a 1 point favorite. I like Brady. I like that it’s not in Seattle’s stadium.

I like the Patriots to win this thing, but it will be a close game.

Oh, I forgot the two point conversion looked like it was a movie scene from THE LONGEST YARD.

Unreal.

nothing new here glaze…some stuff we’ve heard and read for the last
25 hours. Explain how you can pick so many losers!!!!!!
and most people hate newengland. they’re cheaters.
we’ll see what happens with the deflated footballs…..

  2. Kerouac says:

Kerouac has no favorite Superbowl 49: New England is where Belicheat, Spygate and deflated footballs reside, Seattle where Seahawks ‘fluked’ their way the Superbowl; a football sense, the deux are the equivalent of ‘all the girls look prettier at closing time’. One will lose – it is ordained – the travesty be that one will also survive and be called a ‘Champion’, a misnomer that epitomizes the sorry state pro football 2015.

“It’s Tom’s sixth Super Bowl and nobody has six.”

    – Bart Starr appeared in 6 Championship games and won 5… Brady is but 3-2 in his 5 to date; not Starr’s fault that the Superbowl did not exist until he was already 33 years old. Montana 4-0 and Bradshaw 4-0 also look better by the numbers, at minimum. QB Otto Graham has a better winning % then any QB who ever played the game, including going 9-3 post season; anyone who anoints Brady best ever needs a refresher course in football history. Coaches, Lombardi went 9-1 post season/the highest winning % ever… Belicheat is but another distant also-ran at 21-9 .

“A win would secure the title BEST QUARTERBACK OF ALL TIME for Brady. And he may already be just that.”

    – best team, best coach & best QB ever would be the Packers, Lombardi and Starr by unbiased measure. There’s no such thing as a ‘best ever’ anything, merely subjective argument rife with bias and no final arbiter capable of deciding anything.

By appearances, it should be a close game, Superbowl 49… neither team is ‘great’, but merely the best of the worst NFL’s mediocrity-laden lot, century 21… Kerouac will go with Seattle, but in truth either team is well deserving of a loss.

    🙂

Boy K you are more negative than I am. Yes I agree neither team is crazy good. However on a good day like last years Super Bowl, they can destroy their adversary as Seattle did last year. Both are capable. I don’t think they are the best of the worst, but the separation between teams is smaller now. The refs, the rules, the talent all come into play. We don’t have those dominant teams like we had years ago. New England is the closet thing to that the past decade plus. I like them in this one. Like I said if it were in Seattle, I’d like them to win. Since its a road game for the Seahawks I like the Pats…I know last year the Seahawks ran over Denver and the game was not in Seattle. It’s a tough call. I just like Brady and his receivers now. Pats D is still in question. So is Seattle’s offense.

      • Kerouac says:

The NFL’s decline & Kerouac’s resolute refusal accept it as good is fact. One’s negativity another’s sober reality: an unvarnished truth sans artificial ingredient added help mask the stench, and improve the flavor; ingest no spoonful sugar help the medicine go down. Football is not of the same quality yesteryear, offer no apology in stating the obvious.

January 11, 1970 & the ensuing 45 years affirming the greatest day in KC sports history was still-born. It passed in a single off-season end ’67, Green Bay, fell Rome in a day as Camelot too a few seconds, Dallas; NFL’s cumulative epitaph draws nigh, CG.

A familiar refrain, drumbeat mine… the best is not yet to come.

    • hahhararley says:

no more reference bookstats K….you are the worst at picking winners
      on kcc.
you make glaze look like albert Einstein! Not look physically…I mean
      intelligence wise!

  3. the dude says:

Who are these ‘most fans’ you are clucking about? Most people I know hate the cheater Patriots.

    • CG says:

Well that’s you. Tom Brady is a fan fav and its my belief that most NFL fans want him to win one more. Maybe you don’t thats fine. He is the best quarterback of this generation and one more would be nice. He’s earned it. Thats all. No not everyone feels that way, just most.

      • the dude says:

No surprise here that you would like a cheater team that chugs the man chowda.

        • hahhararley says:

dude….somehow tghose balls were tampered with…
who would have guessed the patriots do ths?
If it comes out that they did this and top people knew…
they should love all their draft choices for a decade…..

          • Lance The Intern says:

“Who would have guessed the patriots do ths[sic]?”

Really? I think it’s a toss-up between Belichick and Carroll for biggest cheater…

In regards to the patriot draft choices, do you mean like a platonic kind of love or more of a Jerry Sandusky -ish kind?

          • the dude says:

If it is harlinator we are talking about here- think Sandusky-type Mcluvin’.

      • mike t. says:

        with you in this camp.

  4. Old Man Kissel says:

I miss Pat Patriot on the helmet.

    810 scoops 610 once again…
