Of all the scandals plaguing Obama the one that really ticks me off most is his war on the press.
I expect the IRS to do the kind of stuff they’re doing against Tea Party groups. Why not? Every President in the “Modern Era” has used the tax collectors as their own personal “Stasi.”
And the lies about Benghazi, I don’t even know that the Administration is lying. They may just be that incompetent where National Security matters are concerned. So I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt on that one.
However, Obama and his cronies criminalization of investigative journalism is an affront to everything this country stands for. For all intents and purposes, a free press is the ONLY business guaranteed unfettered freedom in the Bill of Rights and labeling a Fox News reporter as a “possible co-conspirator” in violation of the Espionage Act is OUT OF LINE!
Attorney General, Eric Holder, personally signed off on this abuse of power.
Fox News reporter James Rosen was working with a State Department source about a confidential report that contained information about how North Korea would react to a UN Resolution condemning the countries nuclear program.
Really.
That’s considered spying? Even a bubble-headed bleach blonde could tell you the North Korea doesn’t care what the UN or anyone else for that matter- thinks about their nuclear program.
The only reporter I’ve ever seen that could be charged under the Espionage Act would be Geraldo Rivera when he was drawing pictures in the sand of troop movements on live television during a war. And that was more stupidity than spying.
And for that Mr. Rosen’s parent’s phone is even tapped by the Justice Department? Outrageous, indeed.
Thank G-d Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes has the “stones” to condemn this over-reach by DOJ and has vowed not to be intimidated by these heavy handed tactics to silence the free press.
There’s another story out there about my favorite “NewsBunny,” Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News, that bothers me as well. She has alleged that her work and home computers were compromised during her investigation of the “Fast & Furious” gun running scandal. Though she has been careful to not make accusations as to who may have breached her computer files.
I however would say that Mr Holder’s Justice Department is to blame.
And don’t think its a baseless accusation, Mr Holder has already been caught in a lie during his testimony before Congress on the Fox News/Rosen matter and he’s neck deep in the Fast & Furious scandal.
And I quote:
“In regard to potential prosecution of the Press for the disclosure of material. This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy.”
It turns out that Mr. Holder has not only HEARD of it, he’s PERSONALLY approved of it by signing a warrant which made Mr. Rosen a suspect and co-conspirator.
This is a lie, pure and simple and its time for Mr. Holder to be fired.
And for all you people out thinking I’m just some “right-wing fanatic” calling for the AG’s removal – (I’m talking to you Harley – I’m joined by such “Conservative” publications as the Huffington Post and Esquire in saying Holder needs to go.

CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC and ABC, not exactly bastions of conservative thought have given serious legs to the burgeoning scandals that now beset the White House.
Fixing blame for the 1st estate’s coverage of same on the GOP and conservatives for these trangressions would seem to fly in the face of logic.
The Attorney General, Eric Holder is disgraced on a John Mitchel level and should be relieved of duty immediately.

The defection of the Main Stream Media in the face of these many scandals shakes the underpinnings of Obama’s American “Mandate of Heaven”. A “Post Racial President” who appoints Eric Holder to head the Justice Department and declares in the wake of a controversial criminal complaint with a salient manufactured racial component, that if he had a son, he would look like the deceased, is absolutely corrupted by the absolute power accorded him by his former 4th estate supporters.
Shakespearean falls are now in order.
These scandals are coming “Fast and Furious” like flechette mines with short and long term damage as the only constant. Every day, we wake up and read anew of some malfeasance inflicted on an enemies list that assures us indeed, that everything old, is new again.
Presidential hubris and condescension have come before this most assured fall. The White House Press Room is now a scene of chaos, straw men and red herrings, covered in second party blame, hidden behind a mask of confusion. Events are outstripping Obama’s ability to stay in front of the myriad scandals. Extrapolating these events, we can see, at some point, everyone “Lawyering Up”. Then, we get to look inside the oven and see whats for dinner.

Guido, here’s what I dislike. If this happened on a Republican watch the Dems would be calling for a public execution. Since it’s Obama, it’s just totally false claims, Republican circus and an attack against our second black President.
When that’s how the discussion plays out all credibility is lost. Illegal is illegal no matter which side it is. With Clinton, it was JUST sex and no ones business. If it had been Bush the left would not have said that.
