Hearne on the Street: Banana Republic to Peel Off Concept Store on Plaza

This just in….

Sources say Banana Republic is poised to unleash one of its new concept stores on the Country Club Plaza.

“Word on the street is that Banana Republic is doing a concept store in the space formerly operated by Z Gallery on the Plaza underneath McCormick & Schmicks,” says a source who asked not to be named.

Banana Republic’s concept store in Vegas, was reportedly designed like a “walk-in closet with a residential feel.”

Complete with a stylist, hemming services and check out services in fitting rooms.

As for exactly how KC’s concept may shake out…

Stay tuned.

Don’t be a butt head, Beavis. Star Search is ongoing, but after so many trips to the plate, it’s not wildly productive to bash em for the same stuff, over and over. That’s what they pay editors to do.
