I think “Comic Sans” is a perfect font to match the content of that letter!

Dan Gilbert, according to some people, has lost $250M in franchise worth with LeBron leaving. I have no problem with what he said and how he said it. It wasn’t immature, it was marketing to his people. By vilifying LeBron (now the 2nd most hated person in Cleveland history behind Art Modell), he will become a local hero.

Kansas City has never been through the same things to the extent Cleveland has. Granted, the Scouts and the Kings left, but they were not front-line teams, even at their best. They made one conference final and got smacked. The Browns had a long history of winning and even when then pulled up and went to Baltimore, they weren’t ‘bad’ (like Detroit Lions bad)

The closest ‘star’ Kansas City ever had leave was Neil Smith or Bret Saberhagen. Kansas City received when Joe Montana came to town, but it’s not the same.

Think if George Brett left KC in 1983 or 1984, or if Derrick Thomas was signed by another team after 1995. That’s what happened in Cleveland…

Money is money, life is life, don’t get me wrong…LeBron made his choice and he’ll live with it.

Personally, NFL Training camp is 3 weeks away…

This “show” made me need a shower when it was done. It was so over the top. Jim Gray, who made it a personal mission to crucify Pete Rose, destroyed any credibility he had performing in this charade. Of course Booyah was there, sucking up to LeBron.

Kudos to the Cleveland Owner, for standing up for his fans and city. I will predict that the Heat will be the most hated team in the NBA, and that LeBron will be villified in most cities. He is no Jordan, IMO, he’s not even a Bill Robenzine for that matter.

The Cavs love their fans so much they required the season ticket holders to renew last month, before they knew the LBJ result.

That’s how much loyalty the team shows its fans. They’re as much the problem as their star bolting town.

Everyone is a loser in this saga.

He promises a title before James gets one in Miami, not likely….Cleveland has less luck than we do…at least we have two now ancient titles, one World Series and one Super Bowl with two othe appearances in both…we are catching up to Cleveland.

Jim Gray is a punk ass bitch. So is Jay Mohr? How Mohr finds work when Tony Botello can’t is beyond me. He must have swallowed loads of cum to get the gigs he does. Gary Unmarried? WTF is that. Jim Rome’s bukkake boy, BIG DEAL.

He got the handle Slam Man from taking it up the ass.

Howie Long shut his bitch ass down when he was raggin’ Howie about those Radio Shack commercials with Terri Hatcher. Jay thought he was gonna be Rome Jr and play the Chris/Jim Everett game with Howie.

He was lickin’ Bill O’Reilly’s a few weeks back trying to pimp his lame ass book. What a mandyke.

Had he interviewed LBJ/MVP, LBJ would have fucked Mohr in the mouth with his fist and bulled his balls back out through his intestines.

Dan Gilbert is proof once again that wealth and success has nothing to do with intelligence, tact or class.

No sane person could have actually thunk LBJ was gonna stay a homer.

Can’t wait to see the FULBJ shirts on the street of the mistake by the lake.

MSNBC has a story that explains a little bit why Gray was the interviewer and why it sucked. Apparently James likes Gray as interviewer. And MSNBC says it was Gray who proposed the hour-long story to James’ camp. In fact, MSNBC reports that Gray was paid by the entity that set up the production, and not ESPN.

Dan Gilbert’s letter is entertaining, but I’d be worried if I were a Cavalier fan.

Joe Posnanski has a few articles about this on his blog and he’s spot-on. I think Joe nailed the feeling of many Cleveland fans with:

    “I just didn

Dexter, Jay Mohr is a white chubby version of Tony Botello. He’s funny in that 5 year old “fart joke” way.

I love Jay Mohr. Very funny. Smartman, speaking of 5 yr. olds, how about your homophbic rant? Jeez dude, just say you don’t like his stuff and move on.

As far as the Cavs owner, an apology will be out this week (if one isn’t already). That may have been the dumbest thing I’ve seen since, well, I can’t think of one.

Always enjoy Jay Mohr. While his sitcom was usual fare, his book about SNL was fab and love him on Jim Rome. “Face!”
