Glazer: Fix is in on Presidential Debates

trump_nflWow, maybe Trump is right; THE FIX IS IN FOR HILLARY…

Even network and mainstream cable news seems to be in on it. Let’s face it, America’s addicted to MONDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, huge audiences.

And we all expect the Trump/Clinton debates to attract nearly Super Bowl sized viewership. So why in God’s name would anyone schedule such a monster program against an NFL football game?

There’s no good answer except to STOP TRUMP.

Overall the news media’s down on Trump and pulling for Hillary.

The powers that be fear Trump will defeat Clinton. Sooooo, lits help her out by taking a large audience away from debates one and two. Set them up against NFL evening games. Remember, the audience for football is largely white males. They watch and they bet the games. So at best they will channel hop and miss much of the debates.

Nothing could be more clear than that someone in power doesn’t want old Donald in the White House. Are the Clinton’s behind this move?

Undoubtedly.

Trump is angry and Hillary is keeping quiet. Guess she is admitting the debates could destroy her.

Hillary is more experienced and better informed but has hundreds of scandals to try and cover cup. Trump, not so much.

Trump likely will fry her in the debates because the Clintons on some issues have no defense. The Clinton Foundation? FBI calling Hillary a liar on computer gate? All the issues with Bill and Hillary from the past?

And now they’ve got the Bernie Sanders computer gate. On and on.

None of which is good for Hillary. Also what is she going to do to stop Isis and the civil unrest and violence in America?

I know, try and cut the debate viewership down to size by bringing in the NFL.

Why for the love of whats holly would any network want to lose this mega TV audience to the NFL? Why not have all debates on a Tuesday or Wednesday night? Looks like they fear a Donald Trump win. That’s the only answer.

There is no other answer, is there?

Trump’s way out:

“I’ll tell you what guys, let Hillary debate herself on the first two. I’ll not be there. I will only do the last debate on Wednesday October 19th.”

In other words change the dates or else. In this case Trump is justified.

  1. One whoKnows says:

On Sept. 23, 2015, the CPD announced the dates of all three presidential debates: Monday, Sept. 26; Sunday, Oct. 9; and Wednesday, Oct. 19. The NFL didn’t release its schedule until more than six months after the CPD set its debate dates, but the NFL typically holds games on Sunday and Monday nights. As it happens, two of those debates are scheduled for nights with NFL games — a Monday, Sept. 26 game between the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons and a Sunday, Oct. 9 game between the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers.

    • CG says:

OK Trump wasn’t the nominee yet. Correct. However THEY KNEW THERE WERE GAMES ON THOSE NIGHTS THERE ALWAYS IS MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL AND SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL. So you are saying it was set before and had nothing to do with Trump. Ok change it now.

      • Harley says:

        there’s always conflicts….holidays/baseball playoff games
including the world series and over the years the debates
were scheduled on sprting event night games.
Don’t worry…I think the ratings for these debates will outdraw
        any other debates…
and remember…trump already lied about getting a letter
        from the nfl.
So glaze…you did it again. Another stupid story without
        checking out the facts.
what am I going to do with you. Whether it’s trump or not…
these were set up before any politicking started.
        you don’t get it again.

    • CFPCowboy says:

Technically, the NFL didn’t have to release its schedule. Most people know that there are games on Sunday and Monday night. They’re not going to cancel a money making exercise on the basis of the debates. So, yeah the CPD blew it, as they always do. Again, the elites, knowing nothing, think they know better. Perhaps someone should discuss the play by play of the Monday night games with the likes of Bloomberg. It would be a short conversation.

    • Harley says:

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

for all th emails congratulating me on picking long before the recent meltdown
and utter disgrace of dumpsters campaign that Hillary would win in a landslide.
Thanks to all the readers like stomper who realized this man dumpster was
not stable…was a liar and a con man and that eventually it would come back
      to haunt him.
Hillary is now about 15 points ahead of dumpster nationally and even republican candidates are running ads against him. May republican
executives are saying this man can not run any more. There’s an intervention plannedto get this man to quit the race. His brand has been destroyed and
he should leave the race for his own mental health.
He’s falling apart as is his campaign. It’s over!
And HARLEY SAID THIS. GLAZE TRIED TO PUT LIPSTICK ON THIS
PIG BUT FAILED AGAIN AN AGAIN. KEROWACKY WHO HAS NEVER
BEEN RIGHT ON ANY PREDICTION TRIED TO PUT LIPSTICK ON THIS

SO HARLEY STANDS AS THE CHAMP AGAIN. THE REST OF KCC

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

HARLEY IS NAIL ON WITH HIS POLITICS.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
to all my readers/disciples/and followers who once again knew that
Harley was right. I would love to see trump pull out and make pence the
candidate but this massive landslide is taking down all the republicans
      in America.
But the real battle is after the election as the repubs battle among themselves
      what their party will be.
THEY TOO SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO HARLEY………
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

      • Frank says:

Pretty soon, Hearne’s gonna have to make a vulgar cartoon for one of Glaze’s stories that he will say wasn’t his idea showing Hillary with a strap on on schlonging The Donald.

  2. Harley says:

Presidential debates in the past have been held on the same nights as NFL
footballin the past. this is not new glaze. check the facts. This was decided
    in 2015…before anycandidates announced.
Go check 2012 and 2008 for details.
It was a bipartisan commission that set these dates which weredecided
    long ago.
How about Hillary’s huge bump after convention. Just as Harley predicted.
This khan-trump clash is going to hurt him.
The debate schedule alsotook into account the jewish holidays.
So it looks like trump is afraid of a 2 hour debate with one on one with Hillary.
Hillary is now being shown as being up 5-9 points and I imagine after the
weekend and week trump had it could be a wider spread.
    I told you so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Jim a.k.a. BWH says:

A couple of obvious points here, CG.

    1. You have already decided to vote for Trump, right? You made your mind up on that a long time ago, right? Is there anything that Clinton or Trump could possibly say to change your mind? If the answer to that question is no, why in the world does the date of the debate make a difference to you? My guess is that holds true for 99% of current Trump supporters.

    2. All this hand-wringing by Repubs over immigration, Muslims, ISIS, ACA costs, the economy and how the last 8 years have been a complete disaster and Obama being the worst POTUS ever? But, all these Americans will STILL watch the NFL over the debate they claim is of the utmost importance? What’s that tell you about those people?

As per his usual thin-skinned-whine-about-everything style, the Orange Man always has an excuse. For a guy that claims to be anti-political correctness, he sure gets offended by a lot of things. Donnie needs to find his safe place.

  4. Harley says:

By time of debates Hillary will be up probably 20 points! And trump can stay
    home if he wants.

  5. Harley says:

fyi: American forces as advisors are leading multiple groups of fighters and
destroying isis. Look for October surprise and mosul being retaken by
    our side.
We’re now bombing isis in Libya. The land isis took will come back to
    our side.
You have no idea what America is doing over there. We have more troops
there than people realize. All will be right and come October when they
retake mosul it will really put isis on their heels.
Of course that comes from top military commanders…not from an owner
of a comedy club in Kansas. Again glaze…you’re wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. KCMonarch says:

pssst…beer drinkin’, NFL bettin’, wife beater wearin’, white males ain’t the demographic what’s gonna decide this year’s election.

  7. Frank says:

The NFL argument is an extremely weak argument for Donald Trump. Trump’s base among white folks are the “Stormfront Whites” Ask Chuck. “Stormfront whites” don’t care much for sports anymore. When someone says Adolf Hitler, a “Stormfront white” thinks Kenny Washington or Jackie Robinson. Trump’s white base will still be watching the debates. They’re not gonna know whether there’s a football game on or OH! SHIT! THERE MIGHT BE A LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES GAME ON. SOMEBODY, ALERT DONALD.

    • admin says:

Well, I think we now know that Hillary got the Dems to put the Bernie debates on weekend nights to keep the audience small.

Makes perfect sense that she would do the same with Trump

      • Stomper says:

The DNC and RNC controlled their party debates but the Commission of Presidential Debates, a private firm established by BOTH parties, controls the debates now. Nice that you think Hillary has that power but you’re a bit naive if you do.

        • Harley says:

the guys on here think Hillary can do anything.
          And you know…theyre right!
I’m sure the Clintons knew of the debate schedule
and got the reps from the dems to put them on
          nfl football gamenights.
This is politics. Boys…this is brass knuckle politics.
And no one is better at politics than the Clintons.
Sorry…that’s the truth….and Harley told you this
          over a year ago.

      • Harley says:

        BREAKING! BREAKING! BREAKING !

Politico surveyed the top republicans in the nation…see the
        article.

turn out the lights! Turn off the tv! /turno off the mics

TRUMP MAY NOT MAKE IT TO LABOR DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA/1

HARLEY IS RIGHT…ON THE NAILS AGAIN!

CHUCK WILL GO NUTS! SO WILL GLAZE!
BOTH ARE FOOLS OF THE WORST KINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SH**! THERE MIGHT BE A LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES GAME ON. SOMEBODY, ALERT DONALD.

  9. CG says:

Guys all good points. I wrote this before Trump’s latest blunder on the dead soldiers family tweets and response. All stupid on Trumps part. I do think the undecided is still high, however Donald has just pushed too many folks away from him. He has not done enough to gain the republican female vote and don’t see him gaining much with minorities etc…he is where he is and he’s falling short. I think he had a good shot after his convention if he changed and stayed on point, Hillary has lots to shoot at, but it may be too late. I think Trump knows this as well. Hey he did well to be nominated and they both win. She’s president and he’s beyond a household name with lots of tv shows and hotels, casinos and gold courses ahead…maybe we are the only losers…who knows…the debates will be interesting but now more of just a reality tv show…I don’t see a way today for Trump to come back big again, barring another Clinton Scandal that could happen…

    • Frank says:

Maybe the Republican slogan for next time should be “let’s dump the chucks and focus on the chicks” Way too much angry sausage in the party. Maybe that’s why, no matter how much anti-gay legislation comes out of the party, in the end, a lot of those congressman get busted for gay sex.

      • CG says:

I think Trump had some good ideas, but he just didn’t do enough homework and his insecure thoughts drove him backwards…he sure had the flash….I really think its too late for him to comeback..

    • Frank says:

“I wrote this before Trump’s latest blunder on the dead soldiers family tweets and response.”
Wow, you don’t seem to catch on fast if you haven’t figured out that his next tweet might be a blunder. Let me help you out in another area sense you aren’t quick on the uptake. I and others learned this quickly on TV. That next young hottie that you pick up, you know, the one that you know you shouldn’t be doing anything with. When you are at her place, sitting on the couch, and she says, “hold on, I’m making some sweet tea, … RUN! RUN FAST BACK TO YOUR DOG!

  10. Magento says:

This is a hilarious as giving credence to Trump’s recent intimations that “the fix in in” on the November elections.

As KCMonarch noted, the semi-sober Raytown, Grandview & Independence good ol’ boys crowd won’t decide the race. Trump knows that, just as he also know Clinton has gathered a strong post-convention bump in the polls – nearly 10%. And that will only increase during the debates when it becomes patently obvious that Trump’s grasp of information relevant to the presidency is as flimsy and fly-away as whatever the fuck that thing is on his head.

It may not even come to that; Trump hates to lose, plus he’s the typical blowhard scaredy-cat- he know’s full well these debates will actually be moderated and he’ll have to answer questions he’ll never be prepared for. That in turn will make him look like a loser. Even money says he pulls out before the debates…

  11. Orphan of the Road says:

How about they have REAL debates rather than planned speeches with questions which don’t fit the candidates agenda?

Not one for online petitions but an Oxford-style format would certainly be better than what we’ve typically been offered.
    https://www.change.org/p/hillary-clinton-and-donald-trump-fix-america-s-presidential-debates

    • Magento says:

Not to put to fine a point on it, but any question regarding policy will be a “gotcha” question for Trump. Which is why I believe he will dump the nomination, if not right before the debates, then certainly immediately after the first debate while America is still coming to terms with the fact that he’s a bigger know-nothing idiot than we had already suspected.

Or, given how Trump believes the GOP has shafted him [e.g. not enough financial support, not enough access to their “ground troops” and local voter turnout infrastructure, Priebus not kowtowing enough on a daily basis] he just might wait until after September 1st to walk away, making it logistically impossible for the GOP to replace him on enough states’ ballots to have any chance of his replacement fool candidate (and there’s a nasty hairball all set to gag the GOP; they can’t force Trump to step down, but would be swift as martins to invoke Rule 9 should Trump walk away) to reach the magical 270 electoral votes.

      Fun times…

  12. Harley says:

older gentleman gave Trump the medal he got. It was a purple heart the man
received. Trump was proud to receive it and displayed it on stage at rally.
Now man says it was not a real purple heart according to nbc newsperson.
    This is crazy!

  13. Harley says:

    more good news glaze.
Clinton/allies just booked 98 million dollars in tv ads.
Trump/allies just booked 1 million dollars in tv ads.
    Huge advantage for Hillary.
And that’s the start. fundraising is thru the roof for Hillary.
so trump will be surrounded by ads. A very tough sign for trump who supposedly
    was self financing his campaign.
Did you hear warren buffett yesterday. Great speech.

    • Harley Lies for FREE When the Truth Pays $1,000,000 says:

Trump raised $89 million last month.
      Hillary – $93M.
      It’s effectively no difference, dumbass.

      • Harley says:

some of that money goes to national committee.
and I seriously doubt that trump raised that kind of money
        with his bobbleheads.
Makes no difference…96 days before election and landslide
        is already taking place.
nice try dude. But you too are wrong again.
Go buy a dumpster bobblehead. Might be worth $2.00 in
        40 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hahahahahahah!

  14. Jack Springer says:

I think what’s unfolding is a classic McCaskill/Aiken trick by the media and the DNC. The media promoted Trump throughout the election cycle giving him unprecedented coverage so republicans would vote for him. Trump won the nomination and now it’s time to discredit Trump …. classic Todd Aiken.

    Clinton choose her opponent.

Welcome back to the corrupt 90’s. The bitch is back. It is all lost.

    • Magento says:

“…now it’s time to discredit Trump …. classic Todd Aiken.”

      LOLZ!!!

Wait…you’re serious? Nah, can’t be! No one needs to discredit trump – he’s doing fine all by his lonesome.

  15. chuck says:

Glazer is right. The Democrat Party’s history and penchant for fixing elections (In Chicago, Mayor Daly delivered the Presidency to Kennedy.) can’t be understated. Here in KC, a few years ago, voter fraud delivered the election to J. Rizzo over Will Royster in a blatant, in your face, defiance of the law. Testimony from a Democrat was and is, a scathing indictment of Democrat malfeasance.

    ——————————————————————————————————

I am a proud Democrat and Latino with a wonderful wife and dog. I was raised in a religious, blue-collar, Midwestern Democratic union home. My dad UAW, my mom CWA.

In 2008, I worked for President Obama and the DNC in 2008 as 1 of 10 of their DNC-AAO International Regional Field Directors/Consultants. My area was Latin America & Mexico. I was also President of Democrats Abroad Mexico City & Executive Board Member of Democrats Abroad Mexico & Democrats Abroad Latin America.

I moved back to the United States during the 2010 primary. My brother Chris Moreno was Royster’s Campaign Director & Consultant. I wanted to be part of a campaign so after meeting Will and hearing his message, his resume and his character/values, and having a chat with his awesome mother, I gladly volunteered for him.

I have never been so proud of a campaign candidate in Mr. Royster, a director/consultant in Chris Moreno, and an aide in Adam Schieber. While life experiences have made me much more liberal than both my brother, my family, Mr. Royster and Mr. Schieber, it was clear after meeting Will and seeing their passion for that district in action, he was the right guy at the right time for Northeast; and it was clear everyone knew it.

That said, the campaign changed my outlook on a lot of things politically. It was the most disgusting display of politics and leadership on the part of Democrats & elected officials I have ever seen in any country. In 2010, The Missouri & Jackson County Democratic Party elected & leadership (not the voters) shamed the national party and continue to do so up to this very day.

I was 1 of 2 of Will’s witnesses at the Kansas City Election Board the night the Royster Rizzo results came in. As you may be aware, election results are made available to the witnesses in the room about 5-10 minutes before made available to the public via internet using a computer in the witness room so the witnesses can see it published.

Before the witnesses in the room even had a chance to see the results, Henry Rizzo sent a text to J.J. Rizzo’s representative, which he read out loud to the lady he was with, stating “Johnny Joe wins by 10. JJ is in.”

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I was even more struck when the results were given to the witnesses and the first reading of results had John Rizzo victorious by 10 votes over Will Royster.

I was in the room during many of the Sunshine Requests made by my brother and Mr. Schieber as well as Mr. Royster, including when they requested the list of voters, which by law is supposed to be released but was deliberately held until the evidence deadline for the appeals trial passed.

Theway those guys were treated was unbelievable. In many instances Kansas City Election Board (KCEB) workers leaked to the Rizzo campaign that they were at the office and [a friendly] blog had posts up attacking Royster, Schieber and my brother Chris Moreno before we even left the building. Important to note the KCEB Chair at that time, Shelley McThomas, is ex-wife of Mark Bryant, former Freedom Inc. head who is very close to Henry Rizzo & Rev. Tindall.

More importantly, I was in the room during the recount. I found the first unsigned ballots. Adam found more as did 2 of Will’s lawyers. When you find errors in the ballots the count is supposed to stop. The KCEB refused to stop the counting definitely allowing more illegal ballots to be counted or passed through without detection.

This was important because we already knew that at a couple of precincts (the same where the group voting and electioneering was reported) there were stacks of unsigned ballots left at the end of the table for Rizzo voters to grab and stuff into ballot box. So I immediately yelled, “Stop. Found some of the unsigned ballots.” By procedure, they are supposed to stop the count. They did not. They refused to. In fact they instructed employees to keep counting and reminded them that they are behind time.

When I questioned the ballots, panic set in at the KCEB. The KCEB lawyer began to make really unprofessional comments questioning my education level. Mr. Rizzo’s lawyer began to do the same. At one point his lawyer began to call me names and called me out to the parking lot to fight. I couldn’t believe it.

I should also note that the recount was literally given in a moment’s notice. After delaying and delaying and refusing the KCEB eventually called Will and gave him literally a window of minutes to have his witnesses there for the recount.

I was in the room when multiple judges called the Royster house and asked to speak with Mr. Royster and told him about the voter fraud they had seen. Multiple judges on both parties were really upset, in some cases crying. I was in the room when another came to the house to tell her story and how she was treated by the KCEB and her precinct supervisor. She was crying in anger and sadness. It was very real.

I was in the room when one individual showed Royster a video and pictures they took of team voting by Somali voters at one of the precincts. That person refused to hand over the video and photos in fear of attacks and losing her job but the video and photos were very real.

I was there when a group of young brave Somali college students created Somalis for Royster and called Royster when their parents, especially women, were threatened by [their leader].

I was there when [one influential witness] told my brother and Will that a guy was allowed to be inside the Museum precinct location holding up a Rizzo sign, again very illegal.

I was in the room when my brother received threatening phone calls from Mike Talboy, then [Missouri House] Minority Leader, as well as a number of other people. I was in the room when some of my brother’s consulting clients called my brother and told him that they were threatened by Talboy & Rizzo and told to drop my brother’s services or lose their Missouri House Democratic Campaign Committee funding, clear quid pro quo.

What makes all of it so interesting is that Mike Talboy asked my brother to consult with Will Royster as Will and Carol helped in a big way hold fundraisers for [Democratic] Governor Jay Nixon. And on the flip of a dime, with a little pressure from Henry Rizzo, Taxpayers United and IBEW Local 42’s leadership in Kansas City, Talboy flipped and did what he does best, throw people under the bus.

I was in the room when Barb Shelly from the Kansas City Star was on the phone and refused to hear Will Royster’s story or support Will Royster. If memory serves me right. they didn’t even interview him for their endorsement.

I was the person who found that one precinct has Henry and John Rizzo receiving a substantially more amount of votes (even though halfway down the ballot) than every other candidate on the ballot, a clear lead to ballot stuffing.

I was there when a major media outlet did a report of votes being cast from abandoned building and outside the district, but then the report was taken off of the website and not available to the Royster campaign.

Bottom line: Royster was screwed. I saw it with my own eyes. You don’t get bluer than me. And I have no problem saying that it is such a shame that the “leaders” of Missouri Democratic Party and Jackson County Democratic Party don’t have enough valor to stand up to clear election fraud. Not just voter fraud…election fraud.

Will Royster was the right person for that district and the voters spoke. And I can say that with my own eyes I saw the KCEB, John Joseph Rizzo’s campaign and Jackson County via Judge Stephen Nixon take that voice away from them.

They could’ve had a veteran and neighborhood activist who has experience in economic development and negotiations and who could reach across the aisle for the betterment of the neighborhood. Now they are stuck with a corrupt Payday Loan lobbyist, who just used the people of Northeast as a springboard and hasn’t even attended more than a couple of community meetings since being elected.

    Sincere Regards,

    Nicholas S. Moreno

    • Magento says:

If all of that had actually happened, you went to the Board’s four Commissioners with written complaints(s) and relevant evidence, correct?

And the Commissioners parsed the documents/testimony and made recommendations to the Board’s two directors (responsible for overseeing -among other duties- the election administration proper), yes?

And the Directors, in turn, should they have deemed your complaints/testimony valid, informed the Governor (always letting your boss get out ahead of bad news) and then published their ruling, right?

And all of this would have been made available to the public.

Care to share any of the above documentation?

      • chuck says:

The above is a first person account, given by the signatory seen above, Nicholas S. Moreno.

The Kansas City Star and Barb Shelly, both just to the left of Lenin, not John Lennon, Ulyanov Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, admitted in 2013 in a column penned by Shelly, that the above testimony is factual. If you are from KC and even have a cursory interest in politics you couldn’t have missed this scandal. It wasn’t just “made available to the public” it was printed in the local fish wrap, seen on TV, cussed and discussed endlessly on the radio and I think, even this blog.

If your a Liberal and you can’t trust the KC Star, then I don’t know what to tell you. Does this mean I get to keep my health plan and my doctor?

        • Nick says:

          So…in other words, it’s anecdotal?

No one reported it to the Election Board? No one made a formal complaint to the Election Board? This is just all word of mouth and a columnist writing about a word of mouth ‘incident’?

          Hell didn’t happen then…

          • chuck says:

Missouri Rep. John Joseph Rizzo said Friday that he won’t resign despite an admission by two relatives that they provided false addresses in order to vote in his razor-close 2010 primary.

But his opponent in that race, Will Royster, said the admissions show Rizzo should leave office.

On Friday, John and Clara Moretina, Rizzo’s aunt and uncle, pleaded guilty in Jackson County court to voter fraud. The Gladstone residents admitted they illegally claimed a Kansas City address in order to vote in their nephew’s 40th district Democratic primary in August 2010.

Rizzo won that primary election by a single vote. That means two fraudulent votes could have provided his winning margin.

On Friday, though, Rizzo said the guilty pleas by his relatives should not tarnish his victory.

“I’ve been re-elected since then,” Rizzo said. “Hopefully, these guilty pleas will end the talk about an election held almost three years ago.”

Rizzo repeated his assertion that he was unaware of the illegal votes by his aunt and uncle.

            “It’s just unfortunate,” he said.

John Moretina, 60, had already pleaded guilty to a federal charge of voter fraud in connection with the 2010 election. He is awaiting his sentence.

Clara Moretina, 61, was not charged in the federal case.

Both were fined $250 on Friday and barred from ever voting again in Missouri.

“Justice was done,” said Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker in a statement.

Through their lawyer, the Moretinas declined to comment.

Royster accused Rizzo of lying about his relatives’ votes and called on him to leave office.

“It is no coincidence that the two people closest to John Rizzo are the first to be prosecuted,” he said in an email. “Rizzo should resign or be forcibly removed from office.”

Republicans have used the case to illustrate the need for election reform.

Democrat Voter Fraud is endemic throughout the U.S. Glazer is right, Trump is right, the FIX IS IN.

Submitted by Carl Horowitz on Mon, 06/04/2007 – 00:00

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, has done a lot of heavy lifting over the past few decades for the Democratic Party Left. Launched in 1970 and still run by Service Employees International Union Local 100 chief organizer Wade Rathke, the massive nationwide nonprofit network of anti-poverty activists has been focusing much of its firepower lately on voter registration. They play hardball and are proud of it, regardless of whether their tactics are legal. Results are what matters. And last year in Missouri, the group delivered results. By a less than 50,000-vote margin, State Auditor Claire McCaskill, a Democrat, was elected as the state’s newest U.S. Senator over GOP incumbent Jim Talent. In the process, ACORN unwittingly set the stage, especially in Kansas City, for indictments and guilty pleas against several of their former workers.

On May 17, Carmen R. Davis became the latest casualty of an ongoing case of election theft on a grand scale. Davis, 38, a former ACORN worker, pleaded guilty in Kansas City federal court to filing false election paperwork. She had been among several defendants earlier charged with voter registration fraud and/or identity theft. Rathke and other ACORN leaders insist that the indictments were part of an organized effort to suppress minority turnout at the polls. But as Union Corruption Update indicated at length back in January, the evidence is damning: ACORN activists in the Kansas City and St. Louis areas padded the voter rolls with 35,000 or more fraudulent or questionable registration cards.

Interim U.S. Attorney Bradley Schlozman brought charges in Kansas City against four people less than a week before Election Day. Prosecutors later dropped the charges against one of the defendants, Stephanie Davis. Her identity had been stolen by Carmen Davis; information as to whether the two are related was not available in the four-count indictment dated January 5, 2007. Carmen Davis, who also goes by the name Latisha Reed, was accused of using Stephanie Davis’s Social Security number while employed as a voter registration recruiter for ACORN in August and September of 2006. Ms. Davis/Reed allegedly caused three false registration applications – all in the name of the same person, but with different addresses – to be filed with the Kansas City Board of Election Commissioners.

        • Nick says:

Thnx for the Helling link; looks like 2 people did break the (local) election law.

And in the ACORN piece it appears one person caused three false registration applications to be filed with the Kansas City Board of Election Commissioners.

          You know….shame on them.

However, having said that, compared to the nationwide gerrymandering the Republicans have done for a little over the last decade, disenfranchising minorities to make sure only “their” people vote?

          You know…good on them

        • Stomper says:

Like Nick says, voter fraud is executed by both sides. In many different ways. Kobach’s activities are a perfect example.

Actually I have no great problem with Gerrymandering. Hopefully the Dems will get their chance to reconfigure districts when the next census comes out.

It was filmed, but for some strange reason, Eric Holder’s Department of InJustice decided NOT to presecute.) and the encouragement of violence in the coming election (The Huffington Post, Jesse Benn called for violence against Trump just a few months ago.) .

The “Fix is in” and it WILL be rigged.

When were elections here not rigged? You are pretty late to that party Chuck.

        ?
Of course. There ya go. If they are all rigged anyway, then why even try to fix it, or, bring any semblance of credibility back to elections.

Fu*k it dude, you are right. Lets do away with elections, get our fu*kin guns out and settle it once and for all.

  17. CG says:

Donald Trump fans I’m afraid things are getting darker and darker for him. Even the tv media that has loved him is backing off a bit and questioning everything he says and does. Now we have people saying “He may not be mentally all there” wow that’s a brilliant move by the demo’s…we can’t have a president who is mentally unstable right.

We all know Trump has been his worst enemy with all these attacks that just were not needed and don’t add anything to his wanting to add customers to vote for him. Now he is going after Paul Ryan and McCain again..just gains him nothing but people backing away…he can’t raise the big money needed, though he gets so much free press it likely wouldn’t have mattered much. I just see his ship sinking now. In fact if things don’t get better soon Trump may consider dropping out and saying “It’s rigged” as his battle cry. That rather than suffer a major defeat in November. If the polls keep rolling against him over the next few weeks that seems kinda likely. Trump would rather not see or feel the damage.

I think the guy had good ideas. He meant well in his own way. He’s just too thin skinned, too fast to throw a punch back when it isn’t needed, doesn’t do enough homework and clearly doesn’t listen to his advisors or even his family about his tweets and harsh attacks. He is a man in many ways on an Island.

I really wanted to see a president that would run the white house as a business and appoint people with ability to fix things better. Not political pals. That seems unlikely now. Trumps path to winning is going away and fast. In the end the debates may be too late for him and will just be fun tv and nothing more.

  18. chuck says:

By the way Frank, I am in no way surprised at your continual references and unhealthy obsession with “Sausage” Sausage Boy. You Beta-Males love the meat.

    Kumbaya, Sausage Boy.

  19. CFPCowboy says:

Four years ago, the moderator of the debate got involved with one of the debaters, and made a terrible mistake. Romney said that Obama never called Benghazi an act of terrorism. Obama made mention of terrorism in his oratory after 9/11/2012, but never called Benghazi an act of terrorism directly. It was obvious that there was collusion between the moderator and the debater, Obama, when the moderator had the defense prepared for the accusation, and Obama, went to her for support. Some of us are smart enough to understand bias. In terms of the CPD, they know that there are games on Monday, but it can work in Trump’s favor too. If the guys watching the game never see Hillary debate, she has no chance of changing their vote, at least not with the debate. Is the media rigged for Hillary? You bet. All you have to do is look at the coverage of veterans lost. The mother of a veteran lost in Benghazi is old news, while a lawyer working for Muslim Immigration is new news. What Hillary fears most, at this point, is the video that was made of her speech in front of the families of men lost in Benghazi where she admits it was a movie, not an act of terror, played opposite her response to Chris Wallace. We’ll save that for October. Trump may be a boob, but his supporters aren’t stupid, including Julian Assange, and the news media is still in it for the money. If they find a story where Hillary called all of the families of Benghazi victims liars, and there is a movie proving them correct, there will be money to be made, sponsors to round up, and advertising. It is not really a war for the Republicans and Democrats. It is a war for the independents.

    • CG says:

Good points Cowboy but I’m afraid the ‘fat lady’ is singing…too much damage. Most people take a side and stick there no matter what reality shows them..example: The Royals or Chiefs…fans are fans and get mad at me when I think that they aren’t all that and are getting worse like the Royals…its not what we want its what is happening…Trump was my guy, but his behavior has taken away any real chance for the ‘win’ today. Can he bounce back? I don’t see how anymore, he’s just alienated too many folks. Again it would take a HUGE Clinton fall, new scandal and then some, and for Trump to stay on point and shut up about who he doesn’t like. Both seem very unlikely. More likely would be a Trump dropping out not see the destruction in November. He can say “I won but was cheated” and go home.

Maybe he didn’t want to win! Maybe he doesn’t want to live in the White House or be responsible for America and all the headaches. Maybe this rough 24 hour run has woken him up to HEY THIS IS A TOUGH TOUGH JOB AND NOT TOO MUCH FUN…I think part of him thinks: I’m 70, in good shape, got a great life, great family and love to have fun and travel and open things and be king, who needs this crap. I mean I don’t have too many years left…I did great being nominated! I think that’s in his head bigtime.

  21. Stomper says:

CG; While many suspected that Trump never really wanted the nomination from the start and was only looking to build his name/brand recognition to widen the field on his Trump products, now that he came out of his convention with a tight race, I think he is starting to freak. I think you are right, he doesn’t want the job and is positioning himself to lose and by promoting the “rigged” angle, losing won’t hurt him much. Hard to believe that anyone with half a brain and any desire for the office would actually do and say some of the things he has the past week or so.

Couple of other points. I always get a kick out of people who say the government should be run like a business. Even as a democrat, I’ll readily admit, as will most of my dem. peers, that there is much waste and inefficiency in government. However the sole responsibility of a business is to turn a profit for shareholders/owners. Government has a responsibility to citizens that is not profit driven. Pretty sure the military is not driven by the profit motive. Pretty sure the infrastructure is not expected to turn a profit. Citizens expect things like clean air and water, fair markets, emergency responders, etc. Government’s job is to redistribute income to provide those necessary services. That’s something else I think is naive, people taking the position that redistribution of income is a bad thing. Redistribution of income is what all governments do and are expected to do. Those people don’t understand the role of government. Either that or they are total anarchists.

Finally, far be it for me to offer advice to the GOP but they need to accept the fact that the Donald will lose HUUUGE in November and focus on the goal of saving their majority in the Senate. Yep, Hillary will certainly nominate liberal justices but a Republican controlled Senate can act as a bit of a firewall for them. As mentioned before, the Dems need to pick up a net of four seats to control the Senate. There are six GOP senators up for reelection that are in a very precarious position. (Ayotte-NH, Portman-Ohio, Toomey-Pa., Kirk-Ill., Johnson-Wisc. and Burr-N.C.) Rubio jumping back in may have saved Florida but that’s still up in the air. The GOP needs to do everything they can to support those senators in their reelection campaigns. Reid’s seat in Nevada is up for grabs but there are also a few other states that once looked safe for the GOP but now might get close. Heck, some people even think Blunt in Missouri may have trouble. I think that when Hillary romps in November, the current GOP controlled Senate will confirm Merrick Garland in a heartbeat. It’s their last, best chance to get a moderate on the court. They should probably do it before the election as Obama will withdraw his name and give the appointment to Hillary.

  22. Kerouac says:

“The powers that be fear Trump will defeat Clinton.”

    – exactly… reason why no poll or network do I trust. The ‘fix’ is indeed in as Trump said – electing him will ‘fix’ said/what ails this country. As Republican politicos (both of them) say that they’ll vote hildabeast instead their own party/Trump, they in fact affirm by their proposed action we MUST elect Trump… I’ve no doubt we will.

Anyone who could conceive of voting for any clinton, as well putting any stock in what a charlatan and treasonist like obuma has to say – about anything – has no integrity, character or values (which is to say theirs reflect/mirror those those aforementioned scoundrels.)

The darkest of black days in US history and our loang national nightmare draws to an end, as a white knight comes into view.

trump + alleged rigged election = none-too-clever exit strategy, as noted above by stomper and others. someone said previously “even money” he drops out. I’d say more like 3 to 2 maybe 7 to 5 he drops out. cg said, he really didn’t want to be president, just the attention and brand building… well, he really doesn’t have to worry even if he stayed in – he’d lose in a landslide in Nov. anyway.

  24. CG says:

Yep, kinda sad we were all following the election like an NFL season…most of us…now it starting to seem pointless…Trump is down by 10 points and Obama’s approval rating is 54% highest in over a year or more, that helps Hillary as well….I think Donald is cornered and unless he pulls off a miracle its seems to be over..you can feel it…CNN and FOX who cover it 24 – 7 look sad and bewildered like “now what do we do” their ratings were insane….I still people will check in of course but the huge interviews with Trump, his family and so on may begin to fade…and there is no BIG event til the debates in September so Trump will sure get bored…again if numbers get crazy and he sees he just can’t win, which is likely, pulling out is sure a possibility.

Maybe Glaze has to look at important issues through the prism of a sporting event to gain a little comprehension, but everybody else is a little smarter.

    • Frank says:

What’s shocking is that you seem to be shocked about his downfall. The Republican Party is filled up with KKK/white nationalist/Nazi/Sovereign Citizen/woman hating/everybody hating except for myself and The Donald, types. Once he clears that hurdle and finds out that he’s in a pool where the KKK/white nationalist/Nazi/Sovereign Citizen/woman hating/everybody hating except for myself and The Donald types account for a very tiny percentage of the overall population, he’s gonna be sent packing. And maybe it’s just me, but Eric Trump seemed a little scared to answer questions about his dad that might suggest he disapproved of his tactics. That speech Donald gave about admiring Kim Jung Un’s ability to take control so quickly by killing relatives must have had an impact on Eric. Donald cares about one person only and that’s himself. Hell, Ivanka Trump can find a new career if she doesn’t like Donald telling the whole world that he wants to date her.

      • chuck says:

I see you have today’s talking points Sausage Boy.

“And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed – if all records told the same tale – then the lie passed into history and became truth. “Who controls the past,” ran the Party slogan, “controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.” And yet the past, though of its nature alterable, never had been altered. Whatever was true now was true from everlasting to everlasting. It was quite simple. All that was needed was an unending series of victories over your own memory. “Reality control,” they called it: in Newspeak, “doublethink.”

Those “Nazi” references are just brilliant. None of us have ever heard them before. The breathtaking originality, the insight, the nuance, we are gobsmacked and this has changed everything.
