Comedy super star Louis CK will be at Sprint one July 7th…
Louis did an interview with the Kansas City Star this week wherein he explained that he didn’t hate Kansas City as he’d ranted a while back on late night talk shows. Louie had done a national tour that included the Midland and it seems most of his shows sold, However he didn’t draw well here, thus his anger.
He compared KC to Cleveland.
However he did say he liked Stanford & Sons were he’d played a few times on his way to the top. So Louis now says he was kidding and is pleased his show at Sprint will be loaded with fans. He even told the Star he’d had great shows at Stanford’s.
Louis has a thing for Stanford’s.
He put the club in bits on his TV shows more than once. He even had actors playing me and Johnny Dare on a goof about his morning radio promoting his theater show on 98.9.
This season he had a bit on his show where he was told to prepare for his new HBO Special in KC.
“Oh, no more morning radio and I guess back to Stanford’s,” Louis quipped.
All in fun and we appreciate the attention he gives us. Many now consider Louie the No. 1 talent in comedy today.
In fact Stanford’s this weekend has another off the chain comedy talent who most think will be up with Amy Schumer TJ Miller and maybe even Louie.
His name is Tony Hinchcliffe.
Tony’s been Joe Rogan‘s co-star and has his own show, “Kill Tony” which is on fire.
His new Netflix special is ranked No. 1.
Hinchcliffe got big notice when he wrote the last five Comedy Central specials, including Justin Bieber‘s and James Franco‘s.
Who knows? Maybe Hinchcliffe will soon be headlining a KC theater like CK.
KC is the type of backwater cowtown that would get it’s pearls firmly clutched over some random comedian making a quip about it for laughs.

Louis CK is hilarious. His bit on having to take an opiate suppository is a scream.
His bit on doing gay porn is probably the best. I tried to post a YouTube link to it here, but that “uncensored” thing that Hearne tosses around is just bullshi*. Look it up on YouTube
He also does an off-stage bit where he sexually harasses female comedians and masturbates in from of them unsolicited. Hi-LAR-ious stuff, that guy.

not a fan. disses kc and then “takes it back.” asshat. tried to watch one of his routines on Netflix… couldn’t get past the first 5 minutes. boring asshat.

If CK doesn’t like kc because there was no crowd to see him…maybe he
should pass kc and do the fox theatre in st.Louis.
He’s got 3shows booked at Madison Square Garden so this guy must be doing
something right.
Saw him with John Stewart. they don’t get much time on stewarts show
but in the 10 minutes he was on he was a riot.
I usually don’t go to sprint for comedy shows….not a great place for
comedy. Like smaller venues and hope that glaze can afford to bring in
some bigger names. Have seen some great acts in Westport and one
at the comedy shop he had behind hooters on Metcalf.
So I’ll pass and watch this guy on youtube.
Even thoug he gets a little ” blue” still is a funny guy who is probably
worth 50 million bucks making people laugh.
