Glazer: There’s No Stopping Donald Trump!

DonaldTrumpPresidentRace-RN-660x440As of today if the election for President of The United States were held: DONALD TRUMP OVER HILLARY CLINTON 44% to 42%.

Trump would beat Biden and Sanders as well. This according to Fox News polls which now have Trump at 34% in the lead in Republican race as well. Wow!

To make it even more clear that the Demo’s feel it’s gonna be Trump, Hillary has only been attacking Trump lately in her campaign speeches.

“He’s got no respect for women,” she says.

You don’t do that unless you believe he’s the No. 1 guy to beat. Never before has an outsider like Trump come this far, this fast.

Folks, he’s more than for real.

Hillary-Clinton-politics-quotesMaybe the biggest issue is this: NOBODY’S REALLY CHASING TRUMP.

He’s like the Royals in July – the Twins were no longer even putting up a fight and Detroit (like Jeb Bush) was dead. Who can stop him? He’s the talk and he’s ALL the talk.

Why can Trump win?

Because the economy is the biggest issue. Americans believe he might be able to fix it and nobody else has any answers. But Trump does.

He is a success in business and has made billions. He knows the market. The others are seen as mere politicians. Trump is seen as a man with answers. He will be tough on crime and seems to want to fight back against Washington for all their non caring mistakes with the people.

Hey, if Clinton is knocked out of the race for legal reasons, it’s a Donald Trump World.

I’m thinking that forces Biden to run.

Maybe even Michelle Obama will jump in? Right now Trump is not only for real, he’s a streaking meteor flying to the White House.

Who will the establishment send against him?

  1. Phaedrus says:

Trump’s “success” in business is the world’s biggest joke. He inherited money from his dear old dad. If he would have invested his inheritance in a lousy S&P index fund, he’d have more money than he does now. In other words, he would have been even more “successful” by sitting on his a$$ and doing nothing.

God help us if we end up having to choose between Trump, Clinton, and Bush. What’s a plane ticket to Australia cost these days?

  2. Kerouac says:

Obuma came out of nowhere too in 2008, so in a sense, he helped pave the way for the current leader in every poll. His election in the bag, the only question remains: who will the ’45th President of the United States of America’, Donald Trump, choose for his VP?

Carson? I could go for that. Palin? You betcha! Cruz? Ditto. Rubio? No, but find this youngster a job in the Donald’s administration. Huckabee? Eh, meh. Fiorina? Doesn’t impress. As for the rest a crowded field (what is it, 5,000?) hopefuls declared: get on board and go with a winner ~ GO TRUMP 2016 and Make America Great Again!

the truth comes out…just like the truth came out about writers at kcc.
If glaze put his money where his mouth is..he’d be living at city union
mission.you haveno idea what you’re talking about. you refer to polls that
in 2012 had Romney up by 3 to 4 points the day before the election.
please glaze…you know nothing bout sports…business….comedy…
and now we can include politics.
whats left you ask? strippers….and guys like fatboy are waitingfor
more stripper stories….because he ain’t getting anythingat home!

      • Actually says:

        Harley,

Actually Romney was up by a couple of points at the time of the election. Romney’s IT team cost him the election, and it was quite the scandal among those in the Republican committee. The Obama-Romney election was decided by computer programs.

The election came down to something like 40 counties spread out among 4 or 5 states. President Obama, was a revolutionary (much like G. W. Bush was) in the way campaigns function with technology.

So here’s how it went down. The Romney camp had all of this infrastructure on the ground ready to go door to door and get out the vote in the counties and areas they needed the votes. In layman’s terms, this program was supposed to crank out where they need to get out the votes. Because remember elections are by majority, they are by electoral votes. So the program would say, get votes here, and the team on the ground would get out the vote. But their program crashed on election day. So there were all these people on the ground that were paralyzed because they didn’t know where to go.

Millions of dollars spent getting ready for 12 hours of “get out the vote”. President Obama has a very similar program developed by his team. Romney’s was billed as being bigger and better, and from what was reported it was. But it didn’t work. It crashed.

This single handedly cost Romney the election. And shows that, like him or not, the Obama team is the best campaign machine out there today.

let me get my boots on because there’s so much b.s.
          going on here.
the actual results were in long before the day of or the
          week before the election.
          Sorry dude…but you’re wrong.
the numbers cost Romney. His forty seven per cent
quote cost him the election. The Hispanic vote totals
cost him the election….the turnout in key areas cost him
the election…and the incredible democratic machine
of gotv was unsurpassed in this nation’s history.
But remember one thing sir…only Harley was absolutely correct in the electoral count in 2012.
not glaze or his crystal ball.
not the lawyers on kcc who were gleefully predicting
a Romney victory just 2 days before the eelection…
not even pundits like Hannity or maddow or cook or
oreally….or even fat boy. No…only Harley got It
100 per cent correct. Proven…100 per cent correct.
So please save yuoorself the time of blaming a computer…Romney was a terrible candidate and he
made so many mistakes and the repubs made it
virtually impossible to win even if the small pc went
          bad.
come on sir…lets get real….and lets analyze 2016 as
          factual writers.
the real reason Romney lost…was Romney.
          excuses…excuses…excuses….lets not stretch the
          truth anymore than romeny did.
And again….remember what Harley has said…no
republican prez in my lifetimes…yours…and maybe
          your kids.
2016 is the last great gasp for republicans to win the
          white house.
your boy trump has 30 per cent of te republicans…but
if he get nomination…lots of repubs wll be sitting this
one out…..which wuld be really nice.
and please quit with the excuses for petes sake.
its getting old the excuses republicans come up with
for their complete ad utter hatred for America!!!!!!!!!!

          • Actually says:

            Harley,

I was just having a civil discussion with you. Romney did have the votes. His own campaign failed him. I gave credit to President Obama’s campaign team. They had a program that WORKED. Romney’s failed.

By your own admission… “the turnout in key areas cost him the election”. “and the incredible democratic machine of gotv was unsurpassed in this nation’s history.” I said as much… “President Obama, was a revolutionary (much like G. W. Bush was) in the way campaigns function with technology.”

That is exactly what the ORCA program was for. Think of the old Strike Sheets from the Truman days. This isn’t really a contested topic. Romney was leading, but could not get people to the polls. ORCA was supposed to solve that, but it crashed during election day. He had thousands of campaign workers twiddling their thumbs instead of getting people to the polls.

You don’t dispute the fact that Presidential elections come down to a handful of counties in key states do you? The way ORCA was supposed to work was take voter rolls, in real time “strike” off the list people as they vote, in real time if Romney was losing, the people on the ground could use the addresses on file to go the doors of likely republican voters and tell them to get to the polls because Romney needed their vote. You can get a list of everyone, and their address, of who voted in the last election. As an example go down to the KC election board at Union Station and you can get a list of everyone, including addresses of people that voted in the last mayoral election.

So Romney and President Obama, took this data and determined who they thoguht were Republican and who they thought were Democrat. If they were losing in an area the people on the ground would go door to door to the people they identified as Republican or Democrat and tell them the election hinged on their vote. The people would then go vote. Romney’s program crashed, President Obama’s didnt.

It is rather difficult to understand how this stuff works if you haven’t been a part of it. Here in the Kansas City Area we don’t qualify as one of these swing counties. But in places like Virginia there will be thousands of workers from around the country in the state on election day. They then go door to door to voters in their party and tell them to get to the polls.

Its actually a pretty cool undertaking if you have ever witnessed it, and something not many people in America really understand. But the ORCA failure did cost Romney the election. Anything about misstatements from Romney was settled long before election day. Even factoring in his misstatements, he still had a lead. Much like Hilary Clinton. Even though she has a ton of baggage with the emails, she is still leading.

What we are talking about is a GOTV venture specific to election day.

          • paulwilsonkc says:

And by “fat boy” I assume you mean me. Same as when you reference “box salesman,” “wife beater,” and “dead beat dad?”
            Just a point of clarification.

          • harley says:

actually..if you talk with top repubs they will
tel you the election was over with the 47% tape.
he was horrible in the last 2 debates…
and most importantly he did not get the
40-47% of the Hispanic vote needed to
            win the election.
no matter what you say the key is the Hispanic
vote…I think he got maybe 20 some percent.
the repubs put out a new agenda to expand
their tent….and it worked wonderfully for
            them (wrong!!!!!!!).
so stop the excuses….been involved in many

            but your excuses run wild.
mitt did not have enough v otes to win…
even Harley operating fromm his election
modules understood that and I don’t have
any fancy computers or pollin data or
info that is privy to campaigns.
            so actually….you’re actually another excuse

I could go on about how he spent his media
dollars to his not being able to advertise before
the convention to a whole host of reasons
mitt is sitting screwing American workers as
he did for the last 50 years.
this guy was a loser…but it was “his turn”…
do me a favr….go talk to your buddies at the

            Donald.
go see moodys….look at the electoral map where the white vote means nothing today.
then pray that someone besides trump gets the
nomination because if he does bozzo the clown
            could beat him.
Its just a matte of tme before the repubs rip
trump to pieces….or you might get ready
for some more excuses as to why another

          • harley says:

actually…or as I now refer to you: “not actually”

after the repugs lost in 2012 they set out to
find out what they could do to reverse their
course in national elections. so they put
together a group of intelligent (if there is
such a thing as an intelligent republican)
people and they came up with this
            statement n their report.

The Republican Party needs to stop talking to itself,” its authors write. “We have become expert in how to provide ideological reinforcement to like-minded people, but devastatingly we have lost the ability to be persuasive with, or welcoming to, those who do not agree with us on every issue. Instead of driving around in circles on an ideological cul-de-sac, we need a Party whose brand of conservatism invites and inspires new people to visit us.”

from what I ‘ve seen you write..it appears
YOU’RE THE guy DRIVING AROUND IN
CIRCLES IN THE CUL DE SAC… probably
            after a few hot toddys.
sorry sir…no mention of gotv in that report.
and now your leader wants to taxthe
            rich…universal health care….etc….the
same things dems have prayed for for many
            many years.

  3. The Word says:

    Meh, why not Trump.

Hell we have a President right now who’s only qualification is that he’s black. First affirmative action president.

  4. CFPCowboy says:

As someone who has pretty much entered the fray, actually run for office, I can tell you that the fat lady just plain hasn’t uttered a word, let alone sung. Perhaps, it is like getting to the railroad station a day early to meet your Presidential fate. No one incident trips up a candidate today, but a series of events, like Hillary’s e-mails, and her inability to deal with them makes her more vulnerable. The surprise has been the number of mind numbed robots who will elect and support her no matter what.
Right now, there is an anti-government mood in both parties. Bernie is unelectable in a general, and perhaps, so is Trump. The anger and outrage we see now gets old quickly, and Trump’s temper has already gotten the better of him more than once. Calling an interviewer stupid, unqualified, or a publishing assassin only plays for so long. At the moment Carson is also surging, and, if he is attacked without provocation by Trump, Trump becomes the Bush of a Trump-Carson fight. It is almost fun to watch Trump’s consternation at how to attack what appears to be a peaceful man.
Congress could do a great deal to change the measure, but it won’t. Boehner and McConnell seem bent on giving back their majorities, and it is sad that probably the most suicidal votes taken in the present Congress were the innitial votes for leadership. That is why Carson, Trump, and Fiorina lead the Republican cause.

Right you are Cowboy. What is going on now is just smoke and mirrors. Voters just blowing off steam to show their disgust with DC. The real campaign will not begin for another 10 months or so when the field is narrowed to RvD. The GOP/RNC is uber establishment and Bush is the 800 lb. silverback in that room. It will be Bush – Clinton.

“Mind numbed robots” ?? That was a little harsh. I’d prefer to describe them as voters who recognize that the “issues” of emails and Benghazi are really nothing more than politically motivated mud tosses from old white men who are scared to death of the impending Hillary presidency.

You are also correct about the GOP’s suicidal tendencies. The candidates seem to be playing only for the far, far right wing and turning their backs on those portions of the electorate that actually walk in to the voting booths.

The debate should be about ideologies and not personalities.

The “Fat Lady” sings opera as I understand it. The many, many pundits and commenters so far, who thought Trump’s ascendance was a fleeting and ephemeral news cycle story some months ago, still, underestimate the fury and frustration in the American electorate with the media and politicians in my opinion. This Opera is a Tragedy for them.

Trump is our American Sin Eater. He sanitizes and redeems us, while reinvigorating those chauvinistic aspirations of our fathers, so unpopular in the zeitgeist now. I doubt, if he achieves the Oval Office, there will be an “Apology Tour” letting the “word go forth to all nations” that we are sniveling, lickspittle “Beta Males”, sorry, so sorry for being Americans. Making no apologies to anyone for anything, he struts and frets his hour on the stage, all sound and fury, his staying power in question to even his most ardent fans. I hope he swims with the sharks in the coming months and eats the “Fat Lady” for lunch, piece by piece on live TV.
