Paul Wilson: Everything’s RACIST, Including You, You RACIST!

457afd571c248487fc5c8b025b0f9cc2f62c975db094c48b319028553722fb4cThe words racist and bigot have replaced the F-bomb as today’s top slurs…

Oh, there are real live racists living among us, no doubt. One only has to look to Frazier Glenn Miller, the anti-Semite, white supremacist who killed three Christians while tracking down Jews last year. The Aurora, MO native is a classic case of ignorance meets racism. And so uneducated, he launched his attack at the Jewish Community Center, because, hell, it had to be full of Jews!

This week, we read in Portland, that the lowly peanut butter and jelly sandwich could be considered racist as well. That’s right boys and girls, Verenice Gutierrez from the Harvey Scott K-8 School used it as an example of a subtle form of racism in language.

“What about Somali or Hispanic students, who might not eat sandwiches?” Gutierrez said, according to the Tribune. “Another way would be to say: ‘Americans eat peanut butter and jelly, do you have anything like that?’ Let them tell you. Maybe they eat torta. Or pita.”

What about people from the Sandwich Islands; are they racist?

Portland, long the bleeding edge of liberal thought, introduced a training program phased into schools known as “Courageous Conversations.”

59958740Its goal?

To provide training, classroom observations and exercises, such as reading a news article and then talking about it from the perspective of “white privilege.”

Before we go any further, let’s reference Daniel Webster and look up the definition of racist. What’s this word really mean? No one seems to know.

Racist – noun:

1. a person who believes that a particular race is superior to another.

2. having or showing the belief that a particular race is superior to another.

synonyms: racial bigot, racialist, xenophobe, chauvinist, supremacist

Ninety percent of the time it’s used, however, it has nothing to do with racism.

It’s become the primary tool – the go to word, if you will – used to intimidate and silence and opposing opinions or points of view.

Today, you’re a racist if you disagree with President Obama, oppose Obamacare or point out that more people are on food stamps than at any time in history.

If you support voter IDs, you’re a racist. As well as if you agree with anything Herman Cain has ever said, except the part about not putting the moves on all those women.

Liberals, who often point out the racist splinter in people’s eyes, get away with more than their share.

5c1649f2c170d042a688296d671804111458eeca600fbe0ab0533292d4a164d8Democrat Rep Alvin Holmes – speaking of a black Supreme Court Justice – said, “I don’t like him at all because he’s an Uncle Tom. Jessie Jackson calls New York Hymietown and it’s AOK. You Can Call Me Joe Biden claimed, “You can’t go to a 7-11 or Dunken Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent, I’m not joking.”

Bill Maher, talking about British Petroleum joked, “I thought we were going to get a black President…I want him in a meeting with the BP CEO, you know, where he lifts up his shirt so you can see the gun in his pants.”

And good ole Spike Lee, who’s made a fortune exploiting racism in his barely watched movies commented, “I give interracial couples a look, daggers, they get uncomfortable when they see me on the street.”

160111_maxThe term “racist” has been used so much it’s meaningless.

For all the tolerance the left asks for, little is given in exchange.

People with differing religious beliefs can voice them as their reason for opposing gay marriage, but they are simply bigots.

Why can’t all people’s personal beliefs be respected? Why are your values more valuable or important than mine?

I’m afraid to sort my laundry anymore because I separate the whites from the colors.

How’s that not racist?

And for each of you who attack me for what I just wrote, you’re going to get one, repetitive reply; you’re just a pot calling a kettle BLACK.

  1. Orphan of the Road says:

    Certified Angus Beef. RACIST!

Because it is based on color of the hide rather than being Angus. A red Angus is not allowed to be sold as Certified Angus Beef.

But that broke down, Holstein bull is as apt to be in that Certified package as a true Angus.

    • paulwilsonkc says:

A cow should be judged on the content of its character, NOT the color of its hide.

    • CFPCowboy says:

In 1970 the Great Western Stock Show in Denver, an Angus show, crowned as its Grand Champion, a dyed Charolais. Mc D’s Lounge still bought and served it nation wide, proving that they were not racist, being willing to serve anything.

      • paulwilsonkc says:

I’m disturbed that I tried to compose a sensitive piece on racism, and somehow, it’s turned in a livestock forum!
I can only do what I can; the rest is up to the readers.

        • Orphan of the Road says:

And you still managed to miss the West Coast NAACP prez who is pretending to be black. Outed by her own family.

CFPCowboy knows the score. As far as I know you can still spray paint your cattle at Pennsylvania Farm Show.

And it’s tough spray painting outside in Jan. to boot.

          • paulwilsonkc says:

Orphan, been reading different pieces on her off and on all morning. The FUNNY part? They are comparing her to Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner on news talk, saying if she FEELS BLACK… who are we to tell her otherwise.
I can’t make this $hit up, son. Now it comes down to what we FEEL we are.
So, people, dont talk badly about this girl either. She’s risen up through the ranks to be the local prez of the NAACP. She graduated from Howard, a primarily black college. And why? Because she FEELS black.
Carry on. Everyone go home, nothing to see here…

        • Stomper says:

Your efforts are like herding cats, Paul, but we do appreciate your attempts. 🙂

          • paulwilsonkc says:

            It’s what I do….. Thanks, Stomp.

          • the dude says:

Stomper, talk to hearn about a proper sending off for Dusty Rhodes. The man deserves it.

          • Stomper says:

Yep, the American Dream was a force. I agree that Hearne owes us a wrestling piece however commenting about wrestling on his offering about racism will be enough to drive Paul to apoplexy. He is still reeling from the livestock left turn.

          • paulwilsonkc says:

Yeah, Stomp, I dig into racism and the comments go to wranglin ‘n wraslin. What’s the world coming to?

  2. Libertarian says:

I’m no racist….I sold my hemi.

  3. Jack Springer says:

Miller is not a ‘native’ of Aurora, MO. He is a native of South Carolina — he did not live in Aurora very long. If I used your logic I could say that Miller is a native of Johnson County, KS.

    • paulwilsonkc says:

Jack, my apologies. That was my slip up. I’ll own that one. I knew that, but in haste, lost it.

      • Jack Springer says:

        Why not correct the article?

I read a little further. The Portland peanut butter sandwich story is at least a year old. I stopped reading.

        • paulwilsonkc says:

Jack, most all the examples I used are YEARS old. All used to show a pattern. The story is about misuse of the term. I didn’t mean to imply is was about misuses of the term in the last 24 hours.
Why not change the article? I don’t have access to the program to do so. I send a piece to the editor, he edits and posts. I admitted I was wrong, but dude, it’s been a busy weekend. My apologies for not emailing my editor to say “remove native and replace with somewhat recent resident.” It was an error on my part but not germane to the story as a whole. Much like the age of the PB&J story. Simply doesn’t matter.
Spike Lee made that comment years ago. The story was about the meaning not meaning anything any more.

  4. chuck says:

    Nice article Paul.

The 5th column of self appointed Obama-Holder-Brown-Shirt-Race-Police-Commissars wield weaponized rhetoric that destroys people, their families, lives and careers every day. At the whim and caprice of 40 million blacks, the “Guilty until proven innocent” accusation of racism, supported by the Main Stream Media Liberal PR Bureau and Political sock puppet, Race Grievance Industry wallahs, descend on the next victim (Even “Half Whites” are in harm’s way.) and assign them to the stocks in the public square, where, fearfully, etoliated, terrified citizens exclaim in an ever deafening crescendo, “I am outraged!” “I am MORE outraged!!” “No, I AM OUTRAGED EVEN MORE!!!” At some point, when the devils have decided to kill you last, you are spared and the Tonton Macoute move on to the next victim.

These “Tip Of The Spear” accusations are the Klaxon Call To Arms for violence in the streets that burn neighborhoods and cities at the behest of odious, racial rogues and mountebanks who have the “Pen and Phone” Federal Government’s ear in the person of our President. The importance of Al Sharpton’s 100 or so trips to the Oval Office to advise our Commander in Chief can only be underestimated if you are distracted by the sound of gunfire and smell of cordite. These accusations carry serious weight and are that whiff of grapeshot right before the conflagration which erupts in the streets, now controlled by those same Obama-Holder-Brown-Shirt-Race-Police-Commissars. As citizens plea for absolution in the smoke, “I am not racist! I am not racist!” the drain on our country, economically and politically consigns our children’s future to an ever growing dystopia that is Detroit, Ferguson, Selma, East St. Louis, etc. etc. writ so very much larger, where unctuous, obsequious homage is paid to Media created overlords who don’t just “Fundamentally Change” America, but destroy it, soup to nuts.

Nirvana at hand, soon, the Racial Posse Comitatus, having emasculated the local and state police, are now enthroned at a Federal level and orders from the newly named capital of Amerika, New Johannesburg are issued as we all enjoy equal outcomes and multiculturalism.

    • Stomper says:

Wow, you really channeled your inner Shakespeare on that grandiloquence.

      • hahhararley says:

yes…this ranks as one of chuckles’s finest comment.
But it’s nothing compared to the horrid/vile comments
he’s posted here and on other blogs
It’s good we have him here on kc.
We can always count on chuckles to come out with some of
the wildest conspiracy/right wing nut job rants!!!!!
Still love the guy…without him we’d only have glaze to
        entertain us.

  5. CFPCowboy says:

My candidate is Condoleeza Rice. Those that disagree with me are racist and sexist. If we continue down the road of perceived intolerance, we will have lost the joy of being entertained by the likes of “Blazing Saddles” and “Oh Brother Where Art Thou?” Even the Washington Redskins are in danger. Just call ’em the Redskins. Nobody wants to be associste with Washington.

  6. hahhararley says:

Wilson….you forgot to mention the millions of truly racist comments from
those on the right. I could write a million including those coming from everyone
from the tea party to the southern boys with their really racist comments…and what
about those republican politicians and their truly racist comments.
Its pretty apparent your slant on this article came from a strong right wing
    penchant you have.
As I have said before…you represent the “old” thinking in America. The nation
is turning left….and you and the last of your group of old timers and their
beliefs are being overrun by those who oppose your views.
Its just a matter of time Wilson. I think you’ve been watching too much fox
news lately. This is the exact same language and garbage they put out…almost
    to the word.
But times are changing and soon the tsunami that’s coming will force us to all
get along…stop calling each other names (both sides) and realize that we’ve
all been screwed and instead of yelling at each other for what is wrong in
America we should be looking at what the pols have been doing…
I suggest you read about the u.s. treasury bond scandal that is now brewing. If you
thought 2008 was a disruption wait til we see what’s happening right now.
Lets be fair….both sides scream names…and it just what the people who run this
naton want….everyone mad at each other…calling each other names andfighting…
while they sneak in the backdoor and steal all of us blind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    have a great day.

  7. hahhararley says:

where’s jr. Saw brownback was actually crying tears to the republicans in the ks. state
house and senate. Wondered if he could give us more info.
    wow….what’s wrong with Kansas?????????????????????????????????????????????????

    • the dude says:

Boohoo, boohoo. They boohoo me at the KU-WSU game. Boohoo.
My horrible, no good, terrible trickle down tax plan didn’t work out.
      Boohoo.

  8. FlyinBrian says:

This Paul fella, his writing has a very naive/child-like quality to it.

Good for you, Paul. Got your big boy pants on and a crayon and some paper. Look at you write!

Ask your daddy for help with your grammar next time.

    • paulwilsonkc says:

Flyin, my daddy is dead, but I’m sure you know that. Any other options? I hate to disappoint you with such elementary level drivel. Maybe I should just quit. I thought I was destined to be the next Hemingway, but maybe not.
And, I don’t use crayons, I write on a fire engine red IBM Selectric, scan it then email it to Hearne.
I’m open to any other pointers, however, and will not be pleased with myself until you are.
Thanks. It’s people like you that make me want to strive for 7th grade reading comprehension. If it’s good enough for USA TODAY, it’s good enough for me.

    • gayle says:

Hey, aren’t you the same guy that criticized Kelly? I have just one question for you: what IS your major maladjustment????

  9. Ernest Evans says:

Dear Mr. Wilson: The terms racist, sexist and homophobe are the terms the left uses to close down debate on various issues. The right has its own terms to close down debates: Unpatriotic, soft on terrorism, undercutting the troops, etc. If you express concern about the ongoing bloodbath in the black neighborhoods of Baltimore, you are a racist and a sexist who feels intimidated by strong, independent black women like Marilyn Mosby, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, and Loretta Lynch. If you express reservations about going to war with Iran over its nuclear program you are “soft on a terrorist regime that denies the Holocaust.” This is what our national “debate” on the issues has become for the most part: A mud-slinging contest in which both sides hurl ad hominem attacks against the other. No wonder most of the public hates the political class. Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans

  10. Ernest Evans says:

Dear Mr. Wilson: Thank you for your response. I mentioned the crime disaster in the black neighborhoods of Baltimore: In the 55 days since the death of Freddie Gray there have been 71 homicides in Baltimore–66 of the victims were black. In 2014 there were an average of 17 homicides a month in Baltimore. (As Sherlock would say: “You do the math, Watson, it is a simple calculation.”) I hope that the local and national versions of the PC Police are proud of the disaster that they have inflicted on the black population of the city of Baltimore. Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans

    • paulwilsonkc says:

It’s a two edged sword, Mr Evans. One look at traffic stops in JoCo and incarcerations in our penal system show blacks are overwhelmingly victimized by the system.
And too many times they are actin’ a fool too.
Neither is right but cops should always take the high road.
Thank you again for your comments.

  11. ann says:

harley, the answer is the jayhawks! oh,you mean why no money? the answer is S corps. Is there a business left in kansas that isn’t one by now? Now there’s an idea conservatives been yammering about for years. well done.

  12. Ernest Evans says:

Dear Mr. Wilson: I fully agree that our justice system is not fair. I am not sure, however, how much of the racial disparity in prison populations is due to racial prejudice and how much is due to simple economics: Blacks are, on average. less well off than whites and hence can “afford” less justice–a lawyer I know once correctly summed up the US justice system with the comment: “How much justice can you afford?” The O J Simpson case showed one thing about the US court system: The most relevant color is not brown, black, red, yellow or white: It is green. Given the importance of money in our system of justice, people are quite right to be highly suspicious of how fair the system is. Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans

    • Stomper says:

“How much justice can you afford ?” “The most relevant color is…green.” Not just justice, but a wide variety ( Healthcare, education, etc). For better or worse, it’s the American way. The question Americans need to ask themselves is ” Is justice, healthcare, education, fill in the blank, something that should go to only the highest bidder or is it deserved by all citizens?

Thanks Mr. Evans, your sincere and respectful comments are much appreciated.

      • paulwilsonkc says:

Stomp, I’ve watched a close family member go up against an ex spouse on issues involving physical abuse of both her and her kids. I’ve watched it each step of the way, up close and personal. It’s proven to me, not that I needed it, that the justice system has NOTHING to do with justice. It’s sad.
