This year’s KC Confidential Christmas Wilding is about to unfold. Better and badder than ever, btw, in part because we’re shedding our in-town ways and holding the shindig in South Johnson County.
That’s right, in the land of milk and honey where propped up two-income families glide about their business in late model Lexus, Mercedes and Jaguar automobiles. Where the politics are (allegedly) clean and the mega churches packed on Sundays…and in the lair of the Scribe otherwise known as “King of Sting” Craig Glazer.
The blessed event goes down at 5 p.m. this Wednesday at the spanking new Stanford & Sons comedy club in Rosana Square at 119th and Metcalf.

A complement of Stanford’s hors de oeuvres and libations will be provided, a-la Gentleman Jack Poessiger and smoking hot guest of honor April Macie will be on hand to rub elbows with the unwashed, join me live on Glazer Unfiltered, then perform a standup show on the big stage at 9:05 p.m.

Well Harry sorry to hear you think I am a what? But you have a point. Hearne writes what he wants to write. I guess all the holiday magic focused on football and the party. Which you need to come to and enjoy. We even want the haters to show up. Sometimes they do. We don’t know you so I wouldn’t be mad at you. So drop in, its fun.
One reason there is attention good and bad on me is my age. Nobody else does all this stuff my age or even near it. For us middle aged and older its just a glimpse of ‘hey we ain’t done yet’ not by a long shot…that’s what Hearne sees, not a good guy or a bad one. It’s ok to date young girls, its ok to work out and stay in shape, its ok to go out to late night spots, its ok to be getting older and me a voice in the media, its ok to stay in the game, we all can in our own way that’s all. Nobody says do what I do.
