Glazer: XXX-Rated, Next Big Thing Comic KC Bound

After seeing Colin Kane three years ago in New York, funny guy Dennis Miller said he’d be the next big thing in comedy… 

Looks like Miller might be right.  Colin is a six foot four, well-built, very handsome young man who started doing comedy in his hometown of New York City as a host at Caroline’s, the nation’s number one comedy club.

Many top managers and agencies tried to sign him five or six years ago but he listened to the owner of Caroline’s who told him to hold off, keep doing standup and get advice from the other comics who worked at the club.

The list of comics who have helped Kane ranges from Lewis Black, Katt Williams and Dave Attell to Patton Oswalt and Lisa Lampanelli.

Colin became the darling of New York City’s comedy underground. 

The catch: He’s one of the most sexually explicit onstage comic ever. 

The fact that he’s a handsome tall white guy makes it even more startling. Like Miller said, Kane may be the white Richard Pryor of our time.

Colin went out on his own with his personal manager in the late ’90s, doing major comedy clubs across the country for low-end money as a headliner.  He was one of the first headliner’s to use social media exclusively to sell out shows in big cities like Chicago and Los Angeles.

And in an era where everyone’s trying to be more politically correct, this guy is anything but.

Example:  Colin started off one of his shows by looking out at a female audience member who is gorgeous and saying, “Hey, you look like you want to suck my cock. If you do, meet me after the show and I’ll try and make time for you.  Not like your fat friend. She can come to my hotel room and she can suck it through the doorway.  No face to face action, but I will give her those little fish crackers after she’s done.”

The audience exploded in laughter.

The girls you would think Colin offended were in love with him, while the hot chick’s boyfriend rushed the stage to try and confront Colin.

Because of that, Colin now has bodyguards to protect him from the more easily offended members of the audience.

It gets even more graphic.

“A lot of guys don’t like having sex while their chicks are on their period, me I don’t care,” Kane says. “However, it is tough to go into the bathroom and pull those little red paint chips off your penis when you’re done.”

Then he uses the microphone to demonstrate.

Get the picture?

So is XXX comedy the new wave of what’s out there with celebrities like Colin. In just the past 18 months he’s hosted the Adult Video Awards for Showtime, sold out Madison Square Garden and he just finished filming what observers are calling the funniest character in the film Wedding Ringers starring Kevin Hart (out later this year).

Already Kane is considered at least the next Jim Jeffries.
