BrownbackTrashKansas Governor Sam Brownback announced $10 million in funding for the mentally ill in Kansas.  I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of politicians giving themselves raises.

A guy with a concealed weapon permit accidentally shot his wife at the Longbranch Saloon in Lenexa. The man reached into his front pocket to get something and accidentally discharged the firearm! The bullet hit her in the leg and she was treated and released.  As punishment, the judge sentenced the man to life…with his wife.

The Kansas City Chiefs are really trying hard to emulate Philadelphia.   For example, we now have the most hateful fans in the NFL!

Livestrong Sporting Park will host the 2013 Major League Soccer All-Star Game.  It will be the most televised sporting event out of Kansas City as ESPN and Univision will be showing the game in over 100 countries.  It will feature internationally known superstars like…that one short guy with a tan vs. that other short guy with a tan.

Thirteen Major League baseball players declined to attend the Legacy Awards at the Negro Leagues Museum.  In an attempt to sell more tickets they’re changing the name of the event to Django Legacy Awards.

Lincoln” received 12 Academy Award nominations.  If Lincoln were alive today he would have said, “It’s the second biggest surprise I’ve ever encountered.”  – TOO SOON?
