    GP&N were loud. Maybe the acoustics in the Uptown balcony was the problem, but several songs were uncomfortable. Luckily, my ears stopped bleeding before they got to the softer part of the set list.

    Rayland wasn’t bad.

    yeah, the sound was a little screechy and only a few decibels over, but not as bad as the last few I went to at the Midland theater (those flat out sucked), however, the band had fun, and played their hearts out, was a good show. Don’t think I have ever seen an entire band play the same drumset at the same time before, was fun. Opening act was not very vibrant, and did not show their abilities (or maybe they did, and that was it). All in all, was a good night watching a talented group I have never heard of before….
