Let the games begin!
We’ve all been waiting for the NFL and the full college football weekend to unfold. Now it’s here! And you know what that means:
Glaze picks some games you may want to bet a couple bucks on.
Remember, the best place to do this is in Las Vegas or at betting parlors where gambling on sports is legal. Off shore online is popular but kind of a grey area of betting. Or you can always join a pick em league.
The game everyone is talking about around Kansas City is the Chiefs / Atlanta.
Tony G back in town. Three weeks ago the Chiefs were favored by 3, today they are a 3 point dog. Big swing. Why? Even though both teams had poor preseasons, the 1-3 Chiefs are badly injured on defense and showed no passing offense at all.
Atlanta’s Matt Ryan is a couple big games off becoming a top level quarterback, whereas Matt THE FRANCHISE Cassel is one of the leagues five worst. No argument. Unfortunately it’s a passing league.
The Chiefs may have one of the NFL’s best running games and if, and only if, it’s at an A level, can the Chiefs win this game. Otherwise they will need turnovers and some luck. The Falcons should win by 10, but let’s just look at the 3 for now.
I like Atlanta in this game.

The other big game is Missouri vs. Georgia in college ball. Tough call. MU looked great against a nobody last week and Georgia looked average with its nobody. So? The highly touted Georgia team comes to MU for Game One of the Tigers SEC history.
I would not bet this game, so I’ll hope for an MU win. Toss up.
If I had to bet though I’d take Georgia.
Again, they have a better history for the big game than our Tigers. For me its a no bet.
NOW THE PICKS: A TEASE means you must pick two teams…both their scores or spreads can be moved up or down 6 points and you have to win both games to win. It pays even usually or a tad higher, depending on spreads of each game.
OKLAHOMA STATE -5 OVER ARIZONA (tease with)
ALABAMA -32.5 OVER WESTERN KENTUCKY (tease with above game)
NFL:
ATLANTA -3 OVER KC. To be safe take the money line here and get Atlanta even over KC, no points. You must bet $150 to win $100, but its a safer way to go.
NEW ENGLAND even OVER TENNESSEE (TEASE WITH)
HOUSTON -7 OVER MIAMI
BUFFALO + 3 OVER THE JETS.
I am seeing New England giving up 5.5 at Tennessee. No matter…
I love the Buffalo bet, it is a mortal lock. Always bet Buffalo early!! They should wax the Jests by 15.
I love Minnisota -3.5 over the Jags, Toby Gerhart will gash that line.
I wouldn’t bet anything else. First games of the season are just too iffy.
I do think the Chiefs will not be able to stop Ryan/Jones/White—Hope I am wrong, but I wouldn’t bet that game either.
New refs, Arrowhead crowd and one lucky bounce, the Chiefs win.
I would stay away from every thing else.
It is all Buffalo this weekend for me.

ATL 34 KC 10 – one loss down, 10 more Chiefs to go…
and it could have been 61-17 had the Falcons wanted to try… now it’s ‘On to Buffalo!’ and 0-2.
Chiefs win by 10 points 24-14 and Tony G finally comes out of the glass closet.

Glaze, the talking heads on ESPN are indicating that the Jests are gonna scrap Sanchez early and go to the whishbone and Tebow EARLY.

That is exactly what I would do if I had Sanchez.
Still, take the Bills, but it will be closer.
Math error its Buffalo plus 9 over Jets with the tease…by the way in Vegas you can buy tease bets down to 71/2 points for more money if you want…I did with bama to help cover it did.

Well my new story from VEGAS will be up in a few….great times..thank you KC Chiefs…again….tough calls in NFL…a changing of the guard..some new winners…Chiefs will improve..but….yikes.
