In what may be a brilliant move by Democrats, they’re saying Mitt Romney hasn’t paid income taxes for a decade!
Democratic Senator Harry Reid says he knows for a fact Mitt hasn’t paid his fair share or any income tax for a decade. He got the inside scoop from a Bain Capital business associate of Romney’s.
Reid went on to say, “Hey if its not true prove it, show us several years of your income tax returns, other candidates for this high office have and do…”
Could this be the bullet that sinks Mitt?
From what we know in what should be a close election, anything that lingers sure could have a big effect and Romney is already the underdog.
Republican Committee Chief Reince Preibus is calling Harry Reid, “a dirty liar.”
So the battle begins.
Former President Lyndon Johnson was trailing his opponent for a US Senate seat in 1948. The man was a wealthy pig farmer and Johnson put it our there that the guy had carnal knowledge with his barnyard animals.
Holy molly, it worked!
Johnson came from behind and won. When he was asked by an aide if it was true, Johnson said, “Who cares, let the bastard come out and defend it!”
We saw John Kerry in a position to beat George W. Bush several years back however the Republicans put it out there that John’s heroic deeds in Vietnam were untrue. That he not only exaggerated, but lied. It likely was his deathblow.
What is probable here?
Of course Mitt Romney has paid his taxes. There are some years where with deductions, there was little if any money paid maybe. Maybe. But if the public sees that on income of more than say 20 million dollars it will piss them off.
The Democrats are well aware of this of course.
One of the knocks on Mitt is he’s “out of touch” with the problems of average Americans who have been hurt by financial issues due to a slow economy.
So it’s likely President Obama will win as it stands today.
We don’t know what tomorrow brings, so why not bring some dirt to throw on your enemy now? In this case Mitt Romney. True or not.
The bigger story that the MSM won’t touch is half black Barry’s college transcripts and how over 400 people in his class at Columbia don’t recall him being there.
And why was he enrolled as Barry Soetoro?
The new Dinesh D’Souza movie, Obama 2016 will do more damage to half black Barry than ANYTHING the dems can do to Willard.
If Obama had a college transcript, it would look like Trayvon’s.

Craig, if you looked it up, like in Robert Caro’s book about LBJ, you’d find that Johnson won that 1948 Senate election through a (now) pretty well-documented case of voter fraud. It’s actually pretty interesting, and probably had more to do with it than any “pig” story Hunter S. Thompson might have dreamed up on an acid trip (that’s the source).

romneys tax returns ready to make public…and they contain enough stuff
to make romney not get the repub nomination. He shorted the mortgage security
market and he took the amnesty over overseas illegal money. Romneys cooked
if he releases the returns or not. Doesn’t make any difference. Every single
poll shows that people just don’t like this guy. They don’t like this guy period.
If he doesn’t release returns before the debates he’s going to lose the
independent vote by 10-13 points.

Add Rush Limbaugh to the growing list of conservatives who are completely shocked by Team Romney’s latest move to defend itself by touting Mitt Romney’s Massachusetts health care law.
Limbaugh was literally left sputtering as he contemplated the Romney response.
Limbaugh’s criticism came just hours after political observers of all stripes were stopped dead in their tracks by Team Romney’s defense against a Democratic super PAC ad that all but accuses Romney of facilitating a woman’s death after Bain Capital shut down the steel mill her husband worked at, thereby denying the family of health insurance.
In two separate appearances on Fox News, Romney spokesperson Andrea Saul dismissed the ad and said that under Romney’s Massachusetts health care law — which Romney has repeatedly promised to strip away from the country as a whole if he’s elected president — the woman would still have insurance.
Conservatives went nuts, including Limbaugh.
“Andrea Saul’s appearance on Fox was a potential gold mine for Obama supporters,” he said. “They can say, ‘Romneycare was the basis for our health care.’”

I just did a brilliant refurb on an 8 seater for a couple in Briarcliff. Upgraded all the pumps, tubing, jets, plumbing and heater. Spray foamed the bottom so it’s insulated, efficient, solid and quiet. Did a nice custom color match on the tub to their house and encased it all in a beautiful teak with brass accent trim. Also did a sweet heated walkway from the house to the tub. Saved ’em close to $5,000 over what they would have paid new and they wound up with a much better product.
Like my buddy the proctologist says, sometimes you gotta put your hands in shit to find money. I’m not too proud.
