I’ve given Ron Paul plenty of dough over the last two presidential election cycles, but no way I want he or Rand riding shotgun. Ron is just batshit crazy and Rand is not ready yet. Give him a cabinet spot. Ron’s job is to blaze trails and pull the republican party back from the brink. He deserves a seat at the table. With that seat he has to deliver votes to the GOP. The whole notion of Ron Paul supporters not voting for Romney is out of phase with the progress that Ron has made. Short of a civil war in this country where we kill all the wrong thinkers we will never see the kind of sweeping change the myopic libertarians and tea partiers want. More than any other politician, Ron Paul has probably effected more change in our politics and the way we frame and view certain issues. If everybody in this country had an IQ of 120, or higher, Ron would be the perfect person to lead us. Being Libertarian requires an acceptance of responsibility and cause and effect that the majority of Americans just aren’t ready to abide and accept. Generally, we are STUPID. Bill Maher and I can agree on that. It is that stupidity that gives us the douchebag and turd sandwich choices every 4 years. This year I’m voting for the douchebag. The turd sandwich has left a bad taste in my mouth. It doesn’t taste anything like chicken.

Jeb Bush had a telling statement yesterday when he pointed out, correctly, that Ronald Reagan and George Herbert Walker Bush (41) would be considered too left wing for todays GOP. Reagan raised taxes, made compromises with Democrats, and had summit meetings with our enemys. large numbers of people who were against it but could not cite a spec ific true part of the bill.

When the general bill was discussed people (many of whom knew nothing about what the
billl contained) were against.
When the same people vwere polled about speicific parts of the bill (ending pre exiting condition
denials)…more competition for the consuerms…allowing kids under 26 years old to be on their
parent plan…actual parts of the bill that really were taking effecty….a huge majrotiy..almost 70-80% of
americans polled were for those elements. ZProblem is that many people had such negative
reaction to the bill becuase it wasn’t sold but when the real parts of the bill were broken down
people loved the new health care bill…they loved it. Acording to whom…6 major polling firms..
AND GET THIS FOX NEWS…YES FOX NEWS SAID THIS WAS THE CASE.’
So the deal is that people love the bill..they love by huge margins whats in it…but obama nad

Obama is not a lock to win. If Obamacare is shot down in court, what has he accompished? There is also the scandal about Operation Fast and Furious and Eric Holder refusing to cooperative with Congress. There are all the leaks of classified information that are putting our informants and agents at risk. The Pakastani that led us to Bin Laden just got sentenced to 33 years in prison in Pakistan because of these leaks. Obama complained about the debt left by Bush, yet has run up more debt in 3 1/2 years than Bush did in 8. If Obama was that popular, how did the Republicans take back control of Congress in 2010? That was the REAL poll!
If Obamacare is shot down in court it will ironically mean that we are likely headed towards a single-payer national health style plan. Honestly, it is probably for the best.
The fact that people are chained to their jobs because of their healthcare being bought on ‘group’ discount stifles innovation.
Take this scenario: Bob is a software developer. He works for Sprint, Cerner or one of many other large megacorps here in town. He has an autistic kid, or maybe a wife who had previously had cancer. He has a great new idea for a business. He is handcuffed in his abilities to start a new business because he has two uninsurable people in his household. So he stays at Megacorp at never starts up the company that would have grown and boosted the economy.
