The historic Power & Light building downtown is for sale for $17.5 million dollars. However not many people are interested in buying it because it’s not in the Blue Valley School District.

Sprint shares dropped 45 percent in 2011, yet CEO Dan Hesse’s salary increased 31 percent to $11.9 million.  Hesse says most of his compensation comes from being a stunt-double for Fox News host Alan Colmes.

Could someone explain why this is funny?

  2. paulwilsonkc says:

No, we can’t explain it, if we have to…..
it would bring the collective IQ of the readers down 10 points. Harley can’t afford the loss.
Im sorry, that was unkind. What I meant was, if you dont “get it” you’re either from out of town, out of the country or read this on the short bus headed lord knows where…

  3. balbonis moleskine says:

Wow, P&L building must be an essentially unsalvageable asbestos-ridden white elephant.

Does Kelly Urich write jokes for Jay Leno? Maybe he can MC at the new jardines…I know the beehive and pearls set likes the easy jokes you see from a mile away.

    Jardines North!
Let’s make this happen kiddies! Wilson, call the investors and it we need more money we can call the gay dudes and they can relocate Missy B’s on the floor above Jardine’s North and the floor above that we can let Glazer put in a Stanford’s East.
The Harlinator can have the floor above that to count the mad money has has rolling in from all his businesses and Chuck can have the floor above that to hold his white sheet fear meetings. At the top floor we will have our not for profit organization to aid ‘youts for scoots’ to help the problem in the plaza.

    Problem solved, you’re welcome.
