Glazer: Forget The NFL, College Football is Where the Action’s At This Weekend

College football is a different tale than the pros….

It’s a far safer play. The good get better, while the semi strong fall. It’s clear that LSU and Alabama are BY FAR the best two teams in college football. No argument.

The real National Championship Game is November 5th between these two great, great college football teams.

Stanford is likely 3rd best. Oklahoma got exposed as good, not great. Same with Wisconsin. K-State can get legit with a win over OU this Saturday. And Oklahoma State is likely the 4th best team in the country and the overall champion of the Big 12.

So with all this in mind, college is the money play this week – not pro – pro football is too tough, too even.

Now the pics…

COLLEGE:

Michigan State -4 over Nebraska (go big here)

Oklahoma State -14 over Baylor

Wisconsin -1 over Ohio State (tease with Stanford, remember must win both to win) (six points either way)

Stanford -1 1/2 over USC.

Bonus bet: tease

Arizona State -25  over Colorado (tease

Texas Tech -8 over Iowa State (tease)

    Where’s the pic?
You mention all these games and picked them all except for OU-Kstate.

Not A Safe Bet Either Way
I am showing you how to win, not who I think will win games that are tough calls, like OU Vs. K-State…but if I had a gun to my head, and OU is favored by 14….at K-State, I like K-State to cover, with a shot to win, but a hard bet to make…

    No gun
Just curious who you would pick. Should be a great game. I’m guessing down to the wire and I hope my guys come up winners in the end.

    Favorites Win
I read a few weeks ago that you tend to pick favorites. My question is with the points nobody knows if they will cover so yes its still very hard. I went to Kansas State. This is the biggest game maybe ever for us. If we win today then we are a BCS team. Nobody thought we’d win 5 let alone ten or more. So excited. More than the game ten years ago or so that might have sent us to the National title, but this was so unexpected.

    Not So Great.
It finally happened huge upsets set me back for once in college. Iowa State over Tech big wow! Shocker and on the road. Michigan State gets jacked by the Big Red…and I might pull off the other games…still at best 50% not the Glaze way….so upsets do happen and makes picking games hard. So that points out how nuts it has been to be over 90% to this point, we have pro tomorrow maybe a comeback to keep your humble scribe at 90%, gonna be tough. My ASU team, I went there came through, I think Stanford and the Badgers might pull it off, still playing…still my worst college week of the year so far….and I was so sure on Michigan State over Nebraska…that one threw me as did Iowa State….even the best can be wrong.

glaze…i was right…the favs were winning 95% of time
YOU ‘ve been going with all the favs. And i pointed out that up until this last 2 weeks favs are killing it. I said that
would change because the line spreads in vegas were going to change.
And guess what? they cahnged and now you’re seeing some big upsets happen…which is usual for early in the
season…not so much in the middle….
so taking the favs the rest of the way and not sticking yourselv out there isn’t going to cut it in the the long run.
Same in pros….the upsets are coming because vegas is moving the lines to get back their money…
you need to stick yourself out there to get back your losses which will pile up as the season goes on.
You need to watch out for upsets….those iwll kill ya.
still doing well on your picks…but now the tire meets the road in your weekly shots.
