Joe Miller: Funkhouser Funnels Campaign Cash to His Kids

The candidates in the KC mayoral race filed their campaign disclosures Thursday. The news is all over them. But nobody seems to actually be reading them.

All anybody is talking about is who raised the most dough.

But they’re missing the gems inside. Such as…

Mayor Funkhouser has paid his daughter, Tara Squitiro, $9,600, and his son, Andrew Squitiro, $8,075.

That’s a lotta scratch for a couple of months work from a couple of college kids.
