Tony: This Town Is Anything But Smart With The Money

During local political campaigns so many hopefuls for elected office attempt to pander to typically Midwestern cost conscious values without ever following through on their rhetoric.

Like it or not, this town was built by rich, racist white guys with deplorable values but the keen ability to turn a buck.

Now more than ever, KC and even the suburbanite leaches that surround the area would like to blame the Black President for all of their problems but fail to see their own complicity.

Let’s look at just a few recent examples which clearly demonstrate that people in the metro don’t need any help from Washington D.C. when it comes to throwing away their money.

Sadly, the most hilarious news this weekend starts with local suckers losing a great deal of cash in an investment scheme that has drawn a serious complaints from the gubment: “Feds: Petro America, a KC-based oil scam, bilked millions from investors”

The best part of the investment allegations is that “Gold Fever” has spread across the nation by Conservative Talkers shilling all kinds of strange investments and now Kansas City rubes seem to be the first coming up empty.

Speaking of Conservative pipe dreams, KC City Hall wanted to start privatizing local gumbent but so many union conflicts, promises and obligations will make that impossible for mostly powerless elected officials on their way out the door.

Sadly, the ongoing local public education nightmare promises nothing more than a new class of horribly undereducated students that will continue the same cycle of failure. Amid the current U.S. financial failure there isn’t even enough money to stay losing at the current rate and cutbacks will make local students even stupider: School budget cuts remove $300M from area economy

Finally, local politics is nothing more than an amalgamation of competing special interests and this equation is a big part of what’s keeping Kansas City broke. Currently, a bill of more than $30 million looms for KC’s City Hall and anybody who votes against it will face the wrath of organized labor that has always ruled local elections on the dirty side of the State Line. Current Mayor Funkhouser supports the decisions that doesn’t seem smart with the money and the support he’ll get for betraying his credentials as a City Auditor is his last, best shot at winning reelection.

Roll all of these circumstances together and you’ll get the bunk political reality which has fostered Kansas City financial fortunes gone up in smoke.

I don’t blame the President for my problems. Hell, I’ve been pretty blessed. I don’t really have any problems compared to lots of other folks.

If I was gonna blame someone I’d blame the idiots like you that couldn’t see Barry was phonier than John Edwards on a $100.00 bill who voted for him.

Us gun totin’, buck makin’ Jesus loving, GLD, EGO Krugerand owning, crackers are taking over again on November 2 Culo.

I remember the houses that had the Obama signs in the yard. If shit ever hits the fan and we get some real end times anarchy in the streets of KC payback is gonna be a bitch before I head to the high country to rendezvous with the black helicopter boys to reform the government

    Novus Ordo Seclorum.

The only question left to answer is once you go black will you ever go back?

Old smartypants must have been into the corn liquor tonight.

The black helo guys will waste you along with all the other plebeians. You’re just another beck/bircher and a few Krugerrands and an AR won’t get you far; just keep dreaming your wet dreams of being somebody.
