Glazer: Read My Lips; Matt Cassel Rules, Here to Stay

It’s Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel’s Big Game, will He Shine?

Is this the game that will make Matt the Man. Will he take another step forward to become the Chiefs Franchise Quarterback?

Its a home game, a must win, against the Jaguars (who are not the best on defense these days).

And Matt is ready. This is it baby.

After Sunday there will be little doubt, MATT IS THE MAN.

Sure we have all been down on Cassel. The $60 million dollar man with the below average arm and well below average game so far. I wrote a few months back that he seemed like a man who didn’t want to be in Kansas City, on the Chiefs team or anything else at that time.

Oh how things are changing.

It’s looking more and more like this guy will be here for years to come. Todd Haley is digging in for the long run as head coach. To be the next Marty and then some.

Lets face it, the Chiefs have the inside track on winning the Western Division.

If they do win the division Haley will have a home game at Arrowhead for play-off game number one. If Todd and Matt win that one, well it will be the first victory since 1993 in the post season. That’s when KC beat the Steelers with Joe Montana. Nearly twenty years ago.

So yep, Todd and Matt are headed towards KC stardom, big time.

Matt Cassel Franchise quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs. How does that sound? Get used to it. Here he comes.

Sunday will be his finest moments yet. Just wait!

    glazer…love ya but STFU!
no more playing both sides…you banged on
this guy for years and now you change your
tune with 3 games…..just like the rest of
    the goofballs on here.
None of his wanted to give this guy a shot..
or haley or anyof these players including
theoffensive line….so stop jumping on the
    wagon…its pure b.s.
As faras chiefs…i read where parcells might
take over president of chiefs job…anyone heard
or read more about this…that would commplete
this whole transformation…and show that all
of us weref wrong about clark.
You were wrong…stop with the b.s…….
Now…I watched tape of 3 OU games…heres what
mu gabbert has to do. The defensive backs
of ou play very close and to be successful
gabbert has to be perfect with his passes (which
he hasn’t been in thevpast). There is so little
area for him to throw those passes and complete
them that he has no room for error in where
in places the ball. Put the ball in perfect
to his receivers sat night…they win.
I’m betting MU (bet my heart…not my head)…
but it’s going to take an incredible perfomrance
by gabbert to win this game. If his passes are
off it’s over. OU d backs do give up much room
for receivers…gabbert has to be perfect poasser
    sat. night.
Saw bellator fights last thursday….those guys
take increidble punishment with punches…i wonder if one of those mma knockout punches
are worse than the hits nfl players tkae?
    someone know anything about that?

The last Chiefs playoff win was actually against the Houston Oilers in the same postseason.
I remember those two playoff wins both being close and exciting.

Craig you have a perfect record. This is your second year and for the second straight year you’ve been wrong on everything Chiefs related. Won’t I own your clubs by the end of the season if they have a winning record? Wasn’t that the bet? Dude give it up…..when it comes to the Chiefs you are pretty much clueless unless you are telling us their favorite drink or sexual position.

The Cloning of NE is working. Chiefs will drub Jags on Sunday. Kansas City is alive again for Sunday Chiefs action–just like the Marty days. I’m rooting for Cassel..seems like things are starting to slow down for him. I guess good running backs and speed helps.
Best of Luck to Mizzou…nobody thinks they can win this game except jojo, seeing as 95% of the public is backing OU to win straight up. I still think Pinkel is due, should be a great couch potato game.

The way they played on Monday night, well let’s just say if they do end up beating the Chiefs, man will you have some shit to write.

All the Chiefs need out of Cassel is to be a game manager for the next 2 games – just don’t make stupid mistakes, hand the ball off – no hero shit. Besides, I don’t think he’s capable.

Once I thought about things like: why such information is for free here? Because when you write a book then at least on selling a book you get a percentage. Thank you and good luck on informing people more about it!

Hearne – why the f*ck do you have such an idiot like Glazer write on your site? I find myself reading less and less often. So, stop your infatuation with this d-bag. Please.

Hey TigerVIP guy, Glazer is the most popular writer on this site. Look at the comments he always gets from idiots like you. If he wasn’t on this blog its readership would go way down. I read this daily to see what he is talking about.

I don’t always agree with him, but TigerVIP he’s got big balls. Why you hate the guy? Did Craig bang your girlfriend?

Agree with Dino on this one. Hard to call Glazer an idiot. By the way chiefs fans last year he called it right, he said the Chiefs would be horrible and they were. I even heard him on 98.9 make a bet on that as well as the year before and he was right twice. Understand he is now writing weekly and things change with the Chiefs. I also think he was being a bit ha,ha here regarding Matt and Todd. Though he might be right, they may take the star spots in KC sports. We don’t have anyone else! I love Glazer’s stuff so bug off TigerVIP guy. Like Dino said, “did Craig steal your gal?”

I can’t believe I’m saying or rather writing this but here goes. I read many blogs, mostly national ones, bigger then this one. I would have to say Glazer is one of my top two writers.
Yes sir. He is bold and daring and mostly honest. Guy is never PC. I mean this man wrote about “his first time jacking off,” “Cocaine Crazy(my favorite)” “some of the best lost love stories ever.” “Would I live my life over again” guy is damn entertaining.

Like they said about Howard Stern, Why people listen: “Cause I hate him and want to hear what he will say next.” Or: “I love the guy and can’t wait to hear what he will say next.” That applies here to Glazer.

Finally Craig you are getting it! Matt will be the man, it just takes a little time. He will take this team to the post season this year and for years to come just wait!

Craig: Whatever you do, don’t let the law enforcement folks know that you are back smoking the crack (or “doin’ the blow,” since your other columns still show you to be an over-the-hill, wanna-be ’80s hipster). I know I won’t tell them.

  26. Anonymous says:

    craig glazer
jl thanks for the good news. First off more than a moron, I never did crack nor did anyone say I did. Second more than a moron, I don’t know what an over the hill 80s hipster is or suppose to be, oh I’m sorry wanna be, so I guess I wasn’t even that. Well based on my current record I don’t have to address that, tons of cute ladies, in the media daily and so on…so take your hater crap to JOJO.

MGarr please go back and check the record. Craig was wrong about the Chiefs last year. I won the bet and have already done so this year. Stop sucking up.

  28. Anonymous says:

    MGarr
Rick he called it last year at 4-12. What was your bet?

  29. Anonymous says:

    MGarr
Glazer was wrong this year, he said win 6-8 games, so that will not stand.

  30. Anonymous says:

    Rick
Mgarr recheck the records. I said they would win 4 and Craig said 2 wins. I said if I was wrong I would buy all writers tickets to Sanford and Sons. But I WON!!!!! Though i was wrong on what 4 they would win. Glazer is also wrong about Cassell. Though i wish he was right.

I am so happy to read this. This is the kind of instruction that needs to be given and not the random misinformation that is at the other blogs. Really liked reading this brilliant piece of content.
