Glazer: I Have a Dream, That Chiefs Matter Again

So we won a game Thursday against the second and third string Green Bay Packers

Green Bay, who many including me, think will win the NFC. Alright, lets look at the bright side, a win is a win and God knows this club needed one.

I could say that we played close to the same style game in all four preseason

Craig, it is not Purlitzer-winning writing to point out the obvisous about this team that is in the the second or thirds year of at least a five year plan to respectability. I root for them, but I, like you are realistic. But it does not take anyone from NASA aware of the AFC West to know this. Have you run out of OJ stuff?

They could matter for the first time in 10 years? WTF? They made the playoffs 4 years ago. They were referred to as the “Point a Minute Chiefs” while Dick Vermeil coached them in the fist part of 2000s. Stick with booking comedians and writing “True Fiction” stories about your drug stings.

Craig any bets for me to beat you again with this year? You predicting they’ll go 4-12 or anything. Glad you are getting close to joining the bandwagon.

Oh and by the way. Green bay WILL NOT be in the Super Bowl. Way overrated and i don’t know why everyone in the media is in love with the QB. It’s just like hearing yearly about this being the turn around year for the Raiders. (Yawn)

Remember when the Chiefs used to roll like Joe Francis?

Girls Gone Wild” honcho Joe Francis has been called many things — but now the mudslinging has been taken to another level in a new lawsuit … in which Joe is described as a “rapist, child molester” and even the “Douche of the Decade.” The legal docs were just filed by 4th Street Media — the publisher behind a new tell-all book written by former GGW employee Ryan Simkin. 4th Street has filed the papers in an effort to stop Francis from blocking the sale of the book titled, “FLASH! Bars, Boobs, and Busted: 5 Years on the Road with Girls Gone Wild.” The book contains some seriously graphic stories about Francis and his friends engaging in drug use and other scandalous activities. But the legal docs — filed today in L.A. County Superior Court — may be as explosive as the book …

JoJo yes Schimmel was at Stanfords several times in Westport. I wrote this to you on the Holly Starr story as well. Wonderful man. Billiant, one of the sharpest comics of our time…didn’t get the credit he deserved really. Met his father as well. Very sad, he had a rough go with the cancer, his wife, then this, boy.

Jimmy, you yellow bus son of a gun, the Chiefs stunk all decade, they had two phony seasons in 03 and the Herm year, 03 no defense one of the worst in NFL history so the good offense was a bust…as the Colts proved, NEVER PUNTED to us,wow. In the end of 03, and I have mentioned this before, we had trouble beating ANYONE, we had to outscore the other teams, even bad ones like Detroit, huge cause every play the other team ran worked…so it was a bullshit year, no post season win. The Herm year was the end of being average year, we backed in at 9-7 and again the Colts jacked us. So Jimmy we had really nothing since Marty, a shade in 03 thats all. By the way Jimmy Dick, my book is a TRUE story, no made up stings, and documented by the other award winning writer/journalist Sal Manna, with court records and more…but you are the smart one, huh…again a guy with no name as usual. Oh, by the way Jimmy, I have produced five SPORTS feature films and worked on others in boxing, auto racing and yes FOOTBALL…so I might have a slight clue. What have you ever done?

Guys, I believe Glazer is stating the obvious in brief, cause he is covering the Chiefs on this blog game to game. Like it or not. He is pretty much on target. We all think the Chiefs are a poor team, but maybe, we all hope for the maybe.

Whether they mattered or not. It was always my belief that Lamar Hunt was never going to be handed the Lamar Hunt Trophy.

Craig, I’ve done a few things, but I’m still spinning around in the same scene I’ve been in for 20-25 years. My accomplishments are meager compared to yours. Maybe I’ll tell you about them next time I run into you at Entercom.
