The perfect Glass statue would need to be another fountain with David pissing on Ewing Kaufman. That would be art imitating life.

The Jets have that swagger that led Vince Lombardi to say that if you “execute” better than the other guys you can tell them exactly what you’re going to do and still hand them their balls.

I’d rather listen to Nick Wright than Jay Mohr. Mohr is a putz. He’s to Jeffery Ross as a comic what Nick Wright is to Bernie Goldberg as an interviewer. His humor is two rungs below high school freshman fart and jerk off jokes.

I wouldn’t bang Elin for half her Tiger haul. I’ve always had a rule about bangin’ dumb chicks. How STUPID do you have to be not to know your husband is bangin’ more strange than a crips prospect with a brick of 22’s

It’s clear that the Chiefs have no clear “leader” in the locker room or on the field on either side of the ball. It’s bad enough when you don’t have any heart but this bunch has no soul. At this point 6-10 would be a miracle.

Jamaal Charles needs to learn how to pass block. Then he might get the starting nod.

They know how good Charles is but why waste carries in pre season he is only 200lbs.

The repeated Gill mistake is simply not a mistake than can be made. I’m surprised someone hasn’t been canned over there now that it’s happened again. That’s extremely embarrassing for the Star for obvious reasons.

Love the 16 yr old car keys simile, most apropos for the receiver bunch.

Agreed on Jay Mohr. He’s awesome as a fill in. He also has a few books out. One has a ton of stories from his SNL days that I highly recommend.

appear vrabel is trying to lead the defense
    which appears to have improved.
But without fast wide recievers we’re dead.
Take a chance on the two that got released
yesterday. Bowe is never open…chambers can’t
get open and they seem slow. If you watched
houston or pitt or denver all their recievers
were open in the middlewhich made a big
    difference.
Now that the umpire isn’t in the middle of the
defense theres plenty of room for passes up the
    middle without any interference.
And kelly and green are the worst…i mean the
worst announcers i’ve ever heard. Terrible.
Kelly is booooring and is so monotone and trent
needs about 10 more years working on his
skills. Even baldinger and stewart doing those
    high school games sound better.

Cassel was mostly un-impressive last year. He’s looked worse this year.

Charles and McCluster should give KC fans a LITTLE BIT of hope for the offense. But Cassel MUST learn how to get the ball downfield. Any way Weiss could incorporate Brodie Croyle every so often to give a deep ball threat?

Special teams looks very good. Defense is encouraging.

I agree about Jay Mohr. His guest spots on Rome are must-listen radio.

Greg, Bill Maas’ quote was great. But even better is the story about the football player’s brain and how many guys have suffered after playing. Maas talks a little about his issues.

Anyone who talks about his fantasy football team to people outside his league is a BORE. It means he has nothing of substance to talk about. Ignore these people, and if you are these people, stop talking.

I’m sick of the media whining about how the Chiefs conduct business. They act SO IMPORTANT. The bottom line with the Chiefs is wins and losses, that is what matters. Hearing Nick Wright whine about his “buddies” on the Chiefs gets old quickly. Nick does have some talent, but please quit shilling on your “relationships” with players. Greg you are right, that will bite him at some point.

As for 810, Kietz speaks for himself. The negativity from Petro and his crew (Kurtis and Mr St Louis) is because of the lack of information. They think they are so damn important. Hey Soren, break down the team, nobody here cares if you get slighted. You got a great job, just do it and Shut Up. I’m OUT!!!!!

Nothing wrong with banging hot, rich, stupid women. Is something wrong with you Smartman?

Jimmy D, I got issues no doubt but even back when I woulda humped a snake if somebody held it still it had to be a smart snake. Dumb turns my salami into a vienna sausage faster than grandma catchin’ ya beatin’ yer meat. My experience has been it’s just as easy to find hot rich smart chicks as dumb ones. The smart chicks usually read the articles in Cosmo about how to be a freak and most remember to take their pills. Even my 80 year old ma said Elin had to be deaf, dumb and blind not to know that Tiger was hittin’ the strange like they were range balls. To each his own though. A bad night of boom-boom-pow is still better than a good day at work unless you gut some Soco, Jaeger and biscuits and gravy hurled on you while she’s on top.

Kietzman just keeps getting more brutal to listen to. I can remember the 1510 days and thereafter when he was good but no more. His Monday segments with Mitch Holthus are absolutely Bob Gretz-like. Softball questions that Holthus evades for no reason and then KK doesn’t press him on the issue. This year will be even worse. Oh yeah, the Big 12 coaches conference is just as bad. An hour of 12 coaches all saying nothing but in long, drawn out sentences followed by KK’s analysis of their drivel. I’m anxious to hear how the post-game show goes with now with Jack and Danny since them and the Chiefs are partners now. Best programming on radio and I hope to hell it does not change.

I am going to take a month off of KC Con. I will check back in on October 1. Hopefully the racial slurs and people with special needs slurs are dealt with by then.
Greg..and Hearne.. Grunhard’s comment was legit… but Greg’s Asian reference was off base… I am okay with the innuendo..the slams..profanity… etc.. and even cutting edge race card opinions….but am not big on outright racial slurs… and the word “retard” that is getting common here.
There is a big difference between slamming a public figure or a poster with a racy diatribe… but the discriminatory comments are way out of line…

Seriously? Should he have used the term “flange-face”? Lighten up, ladies.

Photoshopped Image Killer has developed software for faux photo detection, also known as digital forensics. Indeed, with digital evidence being used more and more in the courtroom, both the prosecution and the defense want to be sure that exhibit A is really what it seems. Any time you have digital evidence, either side can raise the specter of digital manipulation.
