Hey Hearne, you’re getting trashed by Whitlock right now on his twitter page. He even called you a dumb motherfucker and an embarassment. What do you think?

I posted last week what I thought of Hearne. He is an idiot and doesn’t know anything about the Whitlock situation.
HC: Thanks, Winner. I’ll take that as a compliment coming from someone with such an immodest nom de plume

Hearne is probably thankful for the hits as people leave Whitlock’s Twitter and come over here to see what he was talking about.
    HC: Mindreader!

    Jim Fitzpatrick
Whoa, there, boys, whoa! Hearne and I were just having a little fun, and my hunch happened to be right. Hearne made a strong case for his position, and I was worried at times…But now it’s Jason, not Hearne, who’s got the wedgie. There were no “liars,” in this situation, as Whitlock alleged in his Tweets; it was just fair (and entertaining, in my view) speculation about whether he’d stay. If Whitlock is thrashing about, it’s just rigor mortis setting in.

Kansas City is truly a better place today. Good riddance to the biggest fraud in journalism, Jason Whitlock.

What you fail to mention is that Whitlock has been writing at least weekly for Fox Sports online… I’m not sure how much it pays, but it’s not like the guy is out of a job. Take a look: http://msn.foxsports.com/writer/Jason_Whitlock
HC: Gotta keep up gentle Ben. Already have noted several times that he’s been writing weekly on Fox all through this 12 week ordealie. And what do you think that pays? I know one local who is doing it weekly for $300 a month.

@Joe. He put KC Sports Journalism on the map. Let me know when Sam Mellinger is on ESPN or any other nationally broadcast programing.

@winner – Whitlock put KC on the “map” for all the wrong reasons. I, for one, as a KC resident, have long been embarrassed by his juvenile columns, which are nothing more than cries for attention he must never have gotten as a kid.
Have you even read the guy’s twitter account? His tweets make Mike The Situation and Snooki sound like Harvard professors.
He’s nothing more than an opportunist, shock-jock type who will say or do anything to get attention – all the wrong kind.
Oh, and how about his total hypocrisy: check out his Big Lead interview from four years ago, where he says, “I have no problem with Mitch Albom.”
But after Albom got a big time Red Smith award, Jealous Jason surfaced, and he now refers to Albom as “Myth” Albom and ripped on his whole career.
As always, Jealous Jason exposed his hypocrisy.
As I said, good riddance to the fat load.

Barnhart is the last big gun at the Star. And he loves u hearne.
HC: Keep this under your hat, if you don’t mind, but it’s not unrequited.
