1. Hall…whats your deal with whitlock…do
you have some type of obsession with him and
his job. No you will not get his job…
working for the plate county landmark is not
great for your resume. However..you could start
bolt this site and have your own. You are funny
in your own wright (get it…wright..as in
whats right on 610)…hahaha
2. Royals stadium is fine…its humble…but
fun…if we have a winner in the stadium the
place would rock like no other stadium in the
nation. We saw what arrowhead did during the
heydays…if the new gm and manager can assemble
a new winning team about 2010…the k will be the
envy of all of baweball…we’re hungry and revved
up…just no place to go to let it out.
3. what renovations coulod be done at arrowhead
…its alread enclosed…the concourses look
nice…bathrooms okay…but the club level at
$250 a seat may be too much. Hpefully we have
a winner and the level gets packed and we
party like they do at jerry jone’s place in
dallas….its a blast…nad whats even better
is that its cool and new and that’s what we
need more of in kc.

a full outline of what guys like them would do..

Twenty years ago it was called Royals Stadium, and there was no grass, just Astroturf. And note that Kietzman wasn’t saying “I liked it better before” when the renovations debuted last year.
Yes, the advertising is overdone and downright jarring, but the sightlines are about the same and the amenities are way better.

GH: In KK’s defense I think he was referring to the grassy knoll in the outfield and all the well-manacured grass areas around the stadium. I do remember walking into games and thinking George Toma’s work on the grass areas around the parking lot were nicer than my yard — and my yard ain’t too shabby.

GH-Did you catch 810 this morning with Herm? Bukaty starts to rip Kiffin and say how everybody hates him when Herm kinda cuts him off and talks about how he’s known him forever. he and Lane’s dad Monte worked together in Tampa Bay. Nate looked real bad AND quite unprepared.

GH: I missed Nate’s interview with Herm. If Nate felt strongly about Lane Kiffin, he should have backed up his opinion no matter what Herm’s take was on his friend. Too often interviewers back off jjust when the opportunity for great radio presents itself.
Monte Kiffin was Bob Devaney’s DC at Nebraska in the 60s. I grew up with Monte as a football coach and still find it hard to believe he is still in the game some 50 years later. I’m not saying Lane is a great guy but anybody who Al Davis hates can’t be all bad. Lane’s biggest crimes are leaving Tennessee for USC and pissing off Florida when he said he would beat their ass in the swamp. I wish he was coaching in the B12 — he’d be great for the OTC.

JoJo you forgot to knock Glazer. Oh yeah, isn’t he a friend of Whitlocks? Seems I heard him on his radio show about 50 times, but oh yeah glazer is a nobody, huh?

Good one Downtown Dave. Hope Whitlock does come back, he is the Star Sports. I used to hear Glazer on KK,Whitlock,Petro and recently with Nick, he is a sharp guy with sports too. He has been dead on with his Chiefs stuff. He was one of the first to pre tell us the chiefs were on a downward spiral years back, we just didn’t want to believe him or Jason. They were right.
