Enough playgrounds already!

In Budd Park, the park near my house, we had two great little playgrounds. Then the new Parks Board got appointed in 2007 and soon both of them were yanked and replaced, all part of a massive $1.8 million spending spree on playgrounds.

    ….what’s worse, but for the “spongification” there was not a thing wrong with the old play sets. In fact the new ones are substandard when compared to the old. Who heard of a park without a swing set?
