In the trailer and TV spots for CYRUS, Fox Searchlight Pictures is marketing the film as an all-out comedy.
In my humble opinion that’s a misrepresentation!
Let’s call it a DARK-Comedy maybe. Or better a Comedic-Drama.
CYRUS stars John C. Reilly as a down on his luck kinda guy whose ex-wife Catherine Keener’s about to get remarried.
He just can’t seem to get his life back together.
