Whats most important here, is that Bill Nigro and Bill George are trying to do something positive for mid town. They work hard to do that. I feel thats a very good thing.

I was on the patio at Harry’s Saturday night, which is right next to the Strip stop. Over a couple of hours, we saw a few dozen people get on. Mostly bachelorette parties, actually.

Some of the buses were completely empty, mostly because there was such a steady stream of them.

The biggest obstacle for the service is going to be the same obstacle for any form of mass transit in this town: DENSITY. Namely, this trolley will take you from party district to party district, but how do you get home unless you live within walking distance of the route? If the point is to avoid a DUI, there is a limit to the number of people who will benefit.

Nigro is a BS artist. If there were 400 people on any night, the cam feature on the website would have more clips to prove it out. Bill George would have his cam operating much more dynamically. Nigro’s desperate and Glazer is his buddy. Everybody knows that Craig will say anything for free pizza, concert tickets and limo rides.

Westport sucks and even the Kelly boys now say so publicly. The Trolley scam is a Hail Mary for the area that has embarrassed the City Council. It would serve Nigro better to shut up and not spew BS to Hearne (Bill Georges buddy) that make him look even worse.
