Tony: Kansas City Heats Up, Gets Ready to Rumble

This is more than just a mere missive about all the locals in town with a bad case of “swamp butt” as temperatures increase.

Like it or not, the warmer weather really does have an impact on the culture and politics of this town.

The effect of the Kansas City hot weather is far greater than simply providing a not so merciful end to all of the local Springtime flooding. Let’s take a look at just a few of the warmer weather implications for Kansas City as Summer approaches, shall we?

First and foremost, the hot weather is when Kansas Citians begin killing one another. Normally, this cowtown expects the carnage East of Troost. But let’s remember two important trends in recent summer’s. Last year the “Tragic, stray, bullet” ruled the warmer months.

    Man, I was at the license bureau North of the River today. This heat has brought out some eye-popping honey’s dressed for this weather. I sat there a half hour but didn’t mind a darn bit.
