Given the shitpile that Gary Forsee left at Sprint I’d say he’s a good place to start placing blame.

First, is jojo one of the three people Steven St. John is crediting? Because that might be a mistake.

And I love Deaton’s comment about being committed to the Big II “right now.” That’s like a Rorshach test. You can see whatever you want in it. My take is that any school that has options and still chooses to get back in bed with Texas is helmed by idiots, and that includes KU. Even if joining the Pac-10 (for KU) or the Big Ten (for MU) or the Bog East (For K-State costs short-term money and the destruction of rivalries, they have to do it. I understand that the money split probably won’t get to be any more equitable in any other league, but at least the damn confernece won’t be run like Texas’ personal playgruond. I hope A&M goes to the SEC and they force the Big XII to blow up. This is one village you have to destroy if you hope to liberate it.

And you’re right, Greg, about Petro being high if he thinks the MWC is a good move for KU. He made a lot of sense today, but that thread of commentary is just stupid. The MWC means playing games at places like Air Force and Colorado State and even playing the bad teams of the Big XII is better than that.

Only a missouri fan can understand this.
I’ve been a fan for 30 years. It’s been nothing
but hills and valleys (lots of valleys).
We can beat the #1 team in the nation one
week and lose to the worst team in the nation
    the next.
You need heavy anti-depressants to be a mu
    fan.
A virtual roller coaster of emotions. One week
we beat ku in basketball…the next week we
lose to nebraska. It’s always been like this.
Great expectations can lead to further depression.
And add to that the comical/ridiculous antics
of those clowns in columbia. The chancellors/
    their wives/the players/the coaches (quiin
    snyder!)….the stupidity.
    Unless you’ve experienced this i can’t explain
how good and bad it gets.
but…we are fans. And thru hell or high water
we move on. Last year was a perfect example
of complete roller coaster ride….we beat
ku one week…lose3 a bowl game to navy?
KU fans will never understand it. they have
a great history of basketball over the last
25 years. but they can feel what its like when
they lose in a tournmanet to butler or norther
iowa. For us MU fans thats a common occurence.
And now…we know mu will be going to the big
10…but not on the timeloine we anticpated.
They will go to thebig 10…its just not
    finalized yet.
And just like the last 30 years of ups and downs
we persevere and cry “oh shit…what now!”
Its been a grind…a long roller coaster ride
    with this university.
They can do so many great things (1 billion
dollar fundraising campaign) then fuck up
with little ricky clemons. The taped phone calls…the stupid comments…my god how have
us mizzou fans handled all these highs and
    lows…
lots of beer….booze and the belief that maybe
the next day or game we’ll win.
Its tough being a mu tiger fan. No…it
    is fucking tough!

No comment. It seems every time somebody from Missouri opens their mouth, something bad happens.

JOJO did your cloud burst? Look no CAPS LOCK ON. Humility is great.

Didn’t your sources tell you this was going to happen?

I would rather lose to NI and have National Championships than to ever just be mediocre.

Funniest thing MU will never get to brag about winning the big 12 north. It is the only thing they have so there is another valley.

JOJO mu still sucks and caused this and I bet there is a huge poison pill in the contract about mu and big 10. I have no sources just street smarts.

okay sean…$1000 cash bet mu goes to big
10…put up or shut the fuck up (I spelled it)..
you have no guts loser….lets see who’s
right…..we can start the clock right now!
and yes…MU GOES TO THE BIG 10!

Don’t blame you for being gun-shy, Cliffy. Frankly, if I’m Missouri, I talk nice to my Big 12 brethren … then bolt for the Big 10 the minute it gets an invite, which I believe is still going to happen. When the conference is set up to ensure that everybody plays second fiddle to Texas, as it is now and would be further with the TV deal which I’ve seen described (in which UT can have its separate TV deal, a la Notre Dame), it’s doomed to fail eventually. But big congrats to Alden, Nixon and other Missouri officials for skewering themselves with their big mouths. Sheesh, don’t tell any of them your unwed teenage daughter is pregnant or the whole damn Midwest will know by sundown.

I’ve sought out Fullerton State games just to watch the Royals’ No. 1 pick, and he looks special. It shouldn’t take 3-4 years before he’s Major League-ready (one advantage to drafting college players; Colon needs little “seasoning,” he’s already cayenne-hot). Of course, the wait will be excruciating and perilous.

JOJO meet me at country club bank on the plaza and we can set up an escrow account. I will be there at 10 am Wednesday. Bitch! There is a time limit. 1 year from the date!

Does KCTV5 still stand by their bullshit story from last week? The one scenario that never came close to happening that they reported was pretty much a done deal?

In Japan beating Antonio Inoko, Giant Baba, Great Muta and others after conquering the US with my declaration that all this Big 12 talk is crazy and its like the sky is falling the sky is falling. Turned out that i was right…not that it surprised me. Just as I was right about the Chiefs and a couple of hundred other things. Whhoooooooooooooo…
