Sorry girls but getting all hot and bothered over the draft is for LOSERS. How grown men can look at themselves in the mirror after acting like the Olsen Twins during Fashion Week about a bunch of morons who can’t get through the Wunderlik,(spellcheck anyone), test is beyond me.

Ouch! But probably true. I don’t think the fan base is looking for improvement in two or three years. Something significant has to happen this season.

I think it’s Wonderlic, and yeah, I completely agree with smartman.

The draft moves at a glacial pace, and it’s always a letdown in the end.

Exception: tune in for the Raiders pick to hear everybody laugh and watch all the Raiders fans’ do the “WTF” face.

Agreed, smartman. NFL draft = BORING. Unfortunately neither the Royals or the Cardinals play tonight. I might have to talk to my wife but that will be much more interesting than listening to Keitzman interview Clark Hunt.

I, for one, am hoping for a boring OT…

ESPN rated me a 4 (5 being the worst) in durability at the college level. And my arms are too short to be a stud T. Plus, the Chiefs haven’t developed a lineman worth a f-ck since Will Shields, I was 4 when they drafted him.

Ready to give me $15MM Scott and Clark!?!?!

    Great post Smartman.

I’d love to know how much Mel Kiper and others get paid to compliment or criticize teams for making good or poor decisions….when they have NO FREAKING IDEA if a team actually made a good pick or not.

Everyone thinks Bradford is the best player. Would it shock anyone if he’s on the bench in 3 or 4 years? It’s all so unpredictable.

I DO agree with Russ Landy…it would very smart to go after guys who have a special drive and personality and work attitude.

Nice to see Bill Maas will be on the radio for the local draft coverage. When it comes to football talk, there’s NOBODY locally I’d rather listen to.

If you don’t like Gabbert’s tweets, be sure to stay the heck off of Facebook, where it seems like about half the stuff or more is just that kind of thing: E.g., “Today picked up the kids at school, then we got some corndogs, and tonight I finally had a chance to take a bath”, etc., etc. I say, feel free to insult me or offend me or disagree with me, but just don’t bore me!

Yeah, Greg, what the hell is wrong with you, no mention of my name…can get you ‘fired’ or is it fired up? I agree with you guys this year needs to be 8 and 8 or better. Next year playoffs, not in four years. No excuse for that long of a wait. With two of the worst franchises in sports, please give us a break now. Thank you, its Berry to the Chiefs in first round action.

GH: In an attempt to remain in good standing with KCC’s code of conduct, here goes.

    Craig Glazer was spotted on The Plaza during the two-week-old blackout riot attempting to recruit/seduce his next BB. Glazer said he was heading to Waldo, where he planned to celebrate 420 by smoking some K2. He also mentioned he is happy as hell that he’s not dating any chicks who require copious amounts of KY. All this was recorded on the Confession Cam of the KC Strip trolley that may or may not be in operation. All rights of this account are property of said Craig Glazer and will soon be chronicled in a 2011 motion picture release titled;

Please, please, please sweet Jesus let the Chiefs trade for Ben Roethlisberger. He and Craig Glazer, in the same city, mano y mano, head to head on keepin the bitches rolls in the oven and buns in the bed. Holy Testosterone Batman KC could finally be back on top of the heap as the world HQ of manly men! Say goodbye to the bad testosterone of The Funk and Kay Barnes and hello to the new Starsky and Hutch.

The NFL Draft is the greatest non-action sporting event in the world. A flood of hope for young college kids beginning their careers, hope for teams trying to get better and hope for fans dying to cheer for a winner. The over-analyzation definitely gets old but I love seeing who ends up where and looking ahead to training camp.

Look at what Denver did tonight moving up to draft Tebow. That was a huge moment in what is potentially a seminal pick in the future of that franchise for years to come, whether he fails or succeeds. Could affect the Chiefs in a big way. If you love to hate Tebow and you’re a Chiefs fan, there aren’t many teams besides the Donkeys that make more sense for him to end up on. McDaniels and Tebow…the runt and the reverend.
