SOS’s show was as bad as expected. Asking his listeners the thought of Barry Bananas managing the Royholes? What was even more amazing than this pathetic attempt at radio were the clowns who called in responding to this.
Petro’s reference to being ‘Old School’ to open his show was hyseterical.

I’m a fan of Shan Shariff after day one. Let see how long it takes for Entercom to run him off. I’ll give it 11 months.

Looked like Tiger is on every enhancer known to mankind, compliments of his shrink….. sorry but golfers arms don’t look like that. Nike blew it staying with him IMO…Tiger is damaged goods. Just a phenomenal golfer and that’s it.

Went to the Royals game on Sat….had a great time..I was amazed to see all the young fans…seemed like the whole crowd was 18-35. This town is starving for a winner. Glass is sitting on a goldmine if he can get it done.

“GH: If only the KU fans could sleep as soundly. Maybe Self knows something those who have K-State, Baylor and even Mizzou picked to finish ahead of Kansas in 2011.”

What moron has K-State, Baylor AND Missouri ahead of Kansas? I think you’re making that up….never seen or heard that.

K-State’s getting some early Final Four projections. Baylor’s gonna get some pub if Udoh stays.

I’ve been a rabid KU fan for over 20 years, and I’ve lost no sleep or sweat over losing Collins, Aldrich, Henry.

Honestly and truthfully, I CANNOT WAIT until the 2010-2011 season. I LOVE that Kansas MIGHT be under the radar.* I think anyone who doesn’t pick Kansas to win the Big 12 next year will be making a mistake, and it will be entertaining as hell to watch unfold.

    * I say “MIGHT be under the radar”, ’cause if Kansas lands Selby and/or Lamb this week, they may go from 15-ish to the Top 5.

ALSO….to me, Tiger’s post-Masters comments sounded whiny and were all “me, me, me”. Hey Tiger…..some of us don’t give a sh*t about how well or not well you played. We were rooting for the guy who had his wife present. Oh yeah….your Nike commercial was an embarrasment. Why the hell did you approve such garbage?!

Again give Tiger Woods credit, he shot ll under came in fourth, lots of media said he wouldn’t make the cut, and a few said if he was in top five or so, that would prove he is the best of all time, given the situation. Yes he is spoiled and cheated on his wife, again, lots of big stars are that, he is just one of them. He is golfs best, period. He just proved that.

There is a God! The contrast between Tiger and Phil couldn’t have been any sharper this week. Phil was raised to be a rich white guy, solid husband and father. He didn’t need golf to do that. Tiger was raised by a racist, philandering father who wanted to make whitey pay in every way possible.

Tiger may have mastered the game of golf. He’ll NEVER master the game of life.

Tiger’s on roids. First thing I thought when I saw him was that he looks like Barroid Bonds.

no mention of Whitlock’s A1 column today? I thought he nailed it, though, he’s not the only sportswriter with that angle today.

Why isn’t anyone pointing out that the 2009 pre-scandal Tiger was also more erratic? He missed the cut at the US Open and British Open. Then the 2009 PGA Championship collapse to YE Yang could have been the beginning of the new Tiger.

Don’t understand why you have to bring race in to every post Smartman. Earl Woods had a reason not to like white people. If you were him you probably wouldn’t have liked the power structures in golf, either. He’s a bad guy because he didn’t like the people who wouldn’t let him play his sport and make a living? He should have enjoyed the segregation that didn’t offer him the same opportunities as a white man? That’s ridiculous. He raised a mixed race son who went to STANFORD and is the biggest commercial success since Jordan. Tiger soiled their family name and that’s on him. Tiger didn’t let you down, he let his family down.

Stevo, like it or not race is a big component in our lives. Earl Woods used his hatred of white people as his motivation for creating Tiger. His motivation could have been something more positive and yielded the same results. Slavery sucks, racism sucks. I can’t ignore what happened in the past or pretend it doesn’t have an impact on the world we live in.

Last time I checked people of color have just as much if not more opportunity than white people in our country today. For those willing to work hard and play by the rules the world has no boundaries.

Tiger may be a commercial success. But as a man-husband-father-son and role model he’s an absolute failure.
Would you prefer your son to be a man of honor or a commercial success?

He did let a lot of people down besides his family. He was the golden boy, proof that hard work, discipline and determination were the keys to success. He had it all but still wanted more. Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. Soowee TIGER Soowee!

His treatment of and lack of respect for women makes your average Taliban member look like Alan Alda. That more than anything defines both his arrogance and stupidity. Tiger made Tiger the golfer that he is. Earl can take credit for everything else.

Yeah I have a lot to say about the state of race in this country but I’m not eloquent enough to say it. Everything I needed to learn about race, I learned from “The Wire.”
I really hope you were just kidding in that last paragraph. If I was a woman, I’d rather be screwing Tiger Woods than getting my head cut off for showing my ankle.

Don’t let Phil fool you. He’s the biggest a-hole out there. They all hate him. They don’t really like or dislike Tiger. And they can’t hate him because he has made them all millions. Phil is a complete phony and don’t be surprised if some info comes out on him. How bad is his gambling addiction? Is that worse than what Tiger was doing?

The word on the tour is that they can’t stand Mickelson because he is so fake. He is a notorious A-Hole. Woods has me worried. That dude looked like he aged 5 years. His face was puffy and swollen. I think the guy has some serious problems. He needs a lot more help and I hope he gets it. No athlete has EVER caught the hell he has caught for doing something legal. We are turning him into O.J. He is not O.J. I absolutely think there is an element of racism in this– and I HATE playing that card..
