This just in from Wild Bill Nigro of Westport and KC Strip fame…
Owing to a tight economy and logistical concerns – not the least of which are technical difficulties with the party trolley’s much ballyhooed Confession Cams – the April 9th launch (April 10th if you’re a Star subscriber) has been delayed.
“We absolutely, positively have to have the Confession Cams working,” Nigro says. “No confessions, no stripping.”
Tentative plans now call for an October 1st launch to coincide with the 31st annual American Royal BBQ Contest.
“We missed St. Patrick’s Day and the Big 12 tourney – those would have been killer drunken expeditions,” Nigro says. “But we can’t go back, so we’re going forward – and what else in town comes close to the bbq contest?”
