   Me and the lovely wife will be running the 10K. Was hoping for the half marathon but I typically need about 2 months to comfortably get up to that distance (I’m more of a natural 10K runner) and this winter was pretty horrid for any semi-long distance training. But, I’m still excited to be running the 10K. Thanks for the article.

   GH: It has been one tough winter for distance runners in KC. I am stunned at the number of entries for this race when you consider how bad a winter we endured.
