Though this is in no WAY sticking up for K.K.’s behavior. I think its fair to point out that Whitlock himself regularly expressed disdain for Megan and her lack of sports knowledge. Their relationship was borderline abusive and he treated her like a fluff girl. Though obviously two wrongs don’t make a right.

I think its relevant because its a story we didn’t know and it gives us insight into both Whitlock’s and Keitzman’s relationship and just some of the general infighting at the stations. Very similar to the Nick wanting the afternoon time slot story.

i hate to say it but if you had to place odds on one of the three teams…ku, unc, uk…to fall by the wayside, it would be kansas. Not to say the chances of a “fall-off” are good though. I would say Duke and UCLA would have bigger chances of falling off. UCLA might be in that process right now and their fanbase is horrible. It’s going to be interesting to watch what happens to Duke when Krerewlksjdfski is gone. Anyway, all things equal, Kansas is still bringing in kids and getting in anyone’s living room in recruiting. All you can hope for is when Bill Self is gone for any reason, there’s another Self-esque guy to take the helm.

I think if you read the article, it says Megan was getting a credential also, not taking Clinks. This was all jealousy by KK so his show would have the scoop and not JW’s. I also think there are some police in PV that will tell you the mouth hug incident did happen. KK found the right lawyer that the PV police are afraid of, but if you talk to them off the record, there are a couple that will talk about the incident.

I don’t care about Oprah’s struggles with her weight. So therefore any articles about that are not relevant. So you are right. If you don’t care then its not relevant…..to you. But that doesn’t mean its not relevant to others. I found it fascinating to see another peek into the warped mind of K.K. and how he would cut off his nose to spite his face. It also explains the extreme hatred that many that know him have for him.

JW and KK are two perfect examples that life ain’t fair. If Jason was a fat white guy he’d be selling appliances at Sears. If Jerry Green doesn’t put up the “green” there is no WHB. By most measures they are successful…..but, Jason sees himself as a combination of Jim Brown, Malcolm X and Bryant Gumbell. He’s more like Gary Coleman, Fat Albert and Re-Run. KK wants to be the next Bob Costas and all he is is the next Don Fortune. All the fame and money in KC or the world doesn’t soothe the pain of knowing that you ain’t got what it takes to be the BEST at your craft.

This story still has life because King Kietzman is a lightning rod in the city. If we follow the current standard on what makes news, reporting on background information on a figure that is constantly in the limelight (whether famously or infamously), then this is newsworthy. I acknowledge that I’m not a fan of King Kietzman, but any honest listener has to admit that Kietzman brings criticism on himself by his lack of professionalism and his indefensible commentary.

My problem with KK is the hypocracy of the way he conducts his show and his commentary. He rips Musberger and Knight for “not being prepared”, yet he rarely backs up any of his wild assertions. The PV story is illustrating, because if it happened to a sports figure (Carl for example), Kietzman would be out there whining about a cover up and discussing his sources. Yet he allegedly paid an attorney to cover up his involvement. He is a joke, and any opportunity to point out how much of an opportunist he is, is welcome. Thank you GH.
