   I applaud Hicks for for doing improvement, making it all better, putting money back into the place, making it better for the fans.

   I want to thank Hicks for being a great club owner, hopefully that shtholeowner/promoter piece of crap will take notice, and maybe take steps to move into the 21st century …. maybe get rid of the outhouses, OR STOP BOOKING ACTS.

   Last year I saw, around here, the Swell Season, The Pogues, the Cranberries, Hothouse Flowers, several other Irish fest acts, drove to see Bruce Springsteen and U2, and flew to NYC for Irish music on St. Paddy’s weekend, but my favorite concert was Herb Pedersen and Chris Hillman at Knuckleheads.

   Frank and the crew run a GREAT joint. Best nightlclub ever in the history of KC was Dundee’s at the Boardwalk Square shopping center. PERFECT place to see a live show. GREAT sound system, perfect sightlines.
