In this Winter of our discontent, it seems that we can’t even count on the hotness of Holly Starr. Or at least the illusion that she’s even halfway attainable.
Yep, Holly Starr is reportedly very happy with her new beau and all signs point to a possible engagement on the horizon according to sources close to Kansas City’s hottest television personality.
Who’s the lucky guy?
Well, that’s the horrible part for her ample single-guy fan base comprised mostly of chunky ne’er-do-wells like myself along with jealous women who will never live up to the impossible standard of beauty, intelligence and class which defines Holly Starr.
Holly’s possible new hubby is John Thomson, President and CEO of KC-based Saepio Technologies, Inc. so he’s probably loaded. Thomson is described as a world traveler for his company that offers software solutions for Sprint, Nextel, McDonald’s, BMW and many others. He also lives in Westwood Hills in some rehabbed house that probably costs as much as the small Texas village from which my family originates.
So, while I wish Holly every happiness. I have to wonder if a possible marriage to this “Cadillac among men” will prove to be a reality check for my fellow Holly Starr fanboys. Of course, I know there’s no way I could date Holly Starr at the moment. But it’s not impossible that I might win the Missouri lottery tomorrow and that, in turn, could finance the many years of working out, plastic surgery and sensitivity training it would take for me to get in Holly Starr’s league.
But if she ends up getting married to the techno-bohunk then that spoils even the fantasy of availability that powers the career of most TV personalities. And I don’t even want to think of a pregnancy completely wrecking her body. Even the idea is sacrilege among her fans no matter how much we might like her personally.
Still, the fact of the matter is: Holly seems happy. And that’s probably much more important than catering to the daydreams of her many devoted fans.

Now, alluding to the comment from ReallY— it’s absurd to compare Meradith to Holly and truth be known, Meradith was fired I once read. Meriadith had a bad reputation as well. When you look like Ms. Starr it really doesnt matter what you are saying. Also, remember her talents are not limited to just The 38 Spot. First off I love Tony’s blog. I do think he stalks Holly Star some but I know it that is what the readers want. She seems cool. Had to laugh when I read ESPN comment about that Stephanie woman- who has unrealistic views on fashion. So funny that my grandmother said the same thing, that she looks like a man. Heard the same kind of rumors about HOENES, the allegations etc. Also I saw her at a chiefs game a few years back in a short short miniskirt. She was displaying public intoxication for all the world to see. Extremely obnoxious, loud and crude- and unalbe to sit lady like in that skirt. This must be why she was fired and why she can not land a more impressive anchor spot that she thinks she deserves, but others don’t.

Did some digging and turns out Holly Starr and Stephanie “tranny” O’Dear were once sister in laws. Holly was married -yes married to Stephanie’s brother Scott. Talk about a small world. Look for yourself-this is 100% true.
