Hey, Greg, what’s the deal with the return of Bob Fescoe to the airwaves of Kansas City? Obviously Twibell was gone (thank god), but how long had Fescoe been in the works? And is there any bad blood between Fescoe and 810? I suspect that Fescoe feels he owes something to 810 and he wanted a job and presumably wanted to get back to KC, but to go to work for a competitor like this seems a bit weird for some reason.

Everything about Fescoe’s new program seems weird. Competing with his old partner on 810, coming from KC’s rival town. I listened to him this morning and it doesn’t sound like he’s kept up on the KC sports scene much in his absence (not that he was required to). He very much sounded like an outsider giving an opinion from the periphery while talking about the Chiefs during the portion I heard. I’m sure he’ll get back into the swing of things but this morning’s effort was not engaging radio.

That win was nice because we all hate the Donkeys but it did two things:
#1 – It gave Haley and Pioli the opportunity to say, “See, we made progress. I think you all saw that out there on the field in our last game. We’re trying to build the nucleus here of what kind of football team we want to have and I think you finally saw saw our hard work pay off. Some of these guys have bought in to what we’re trying to do around here and blah blah blah blahhhh.”
#2 – Billy Bob Maas is wrong. It is a big deal to drop down two spots in the draft. Could be bad or good. One of two things just happened…it’d be bad for the fans and the team if we end up missing out on a world-beater perennial Pro Bowler stud extraordinaire who was available at the # spot we would have picked in, BUT it would be good for Clark Hunt if Pioli whiffs by picking another bust because he will only have to pay him #5 money instead of #3 money (see Tyson Jackson).

right on the mark about KCTV and the church closings. Look, I have no problem putting these on screen, but they covered the ticker. KSHB had it right when they squeezed the screen so no on screen graphics were missed for SNF.
And Renshaw St John is right on, Fescoe is TERRIBLE. I think he right where he belongs on 810. I find him to be a VERY hard listen. I guess I have no problem with him being on 610, because I will never hear him.

I am hearing slipping preparation, and he still has sour grapes about 810’s lack of success in the regional market, because he slams Nebraska and Iowa whenever he gets a chance. He used to be cutting edge and he appreciated his listeners. Now he is cocky, and petty.
