Tiger Woods got dumped by AT&T. Their ad agency is really pissed. They were going to re-introduce “Reach out and touch somebody”.
No big surprise, Tiger’s in rehab. Place called the “Meadows”. Wouldn’t be there if he would have stayed out of the bushes.
Rush had to be taken to the hospital while on vacation, complaining of chest pains. He’s OK, but three of the paramedics sustained hernias.
Tony Temple arrested or assault. Beat up a TV.
Probably a highlight film from MU. Amazing what 20 seconds of video can inspire.

Your reference to the State of Kansas being billed for a whole lot of nothing with Mangino, Prince and Krause is inaccurate. While I am not sure how K State handles this issue; the Kansas Athletic Corporation will be the one funding the Mangino settlement. These funds are raised privately and are not co-mingled with State funds.

Greg, not sure I can agree as much as you do with Dave Stewart’s comment. I think way too many sports media types are afraid to stir it up with athletes and other sports figures period. So it’s kind of refreshing to see some people takes shots at even the sacred cows in this town. In that regard,don’t know if you’ve heard–but TMZ plans to start a new show devoted exclusively to coverin sports figures. Apparently during the Tiger Woods saga, TMZ founder Harvey Levin was appalled to learn how the sports media, especially the golf side was so reluctant to get involved with the coverage. So it looks like no more coddling. This could be fun to watch.
