John-I’ve heard that whole thought process based on Stern research. I can only speak to myself. The last time I listened to K.K. was after his run in with Pollard. Sorry I missed the actual conversation. On occasion at night I catch a highlight show of all the announcers shows.

GREG — maybe you didn’t notice but JoPo got a huge promotion. SI has a substantial web following and a print circ of about 3.2M, making it about the 15th biggest magazine in the country. it’s the tops of sports writing.

losers who when someone else does something good
the losers try to bring them down.
When po got his deal with SI greg and the other
minions on this site were all over him trying
to downplay his success. Greg was trying to
say that SI was a dying magazine. Had greg read
the stats (which his boss hearne never did)
he would have seen that po’s promotion was a
great thing for the guy.
Unfortunately, greg is on KCC writing for
the 1300 unique monthly visitors to this site (not the 3 million hearne tried to lie about or misrepresent) while the other guy gets a nationl
